You can see Crazy Horse from the hill on this property! Close to Custer State Park, Mt. Rushmore and Crazy Horse. Very clean and new construction. Great hosts.

This apartment is set in such a beautiful setting, surrounded by the best Black Hills hillsides. The kids found plenty of fun on the rocks and hillside surrounding the cabin. You are technically right beside the property owner, but you feel miles away from civilization with an entrance that opens facing away from the homeowner's home. The house is clean, easy to use, and had plenty of room for our family of four. The property owners were available when needed and were friendly to chat with. We hope to make it back again someday!

The Blue Bird's nest was such a perfect spot for our family of 5. We did lots of sight seeing during the day, but loved coming back to a picturesque spot to relax in the evenings. Such a beautiful property, off the main roads, fully stocked apartment, and wonderful accommodating hosts! Would definitely stay again!

Such an easy process, communication was great and it was wonderful to have the place to come back to at the end of the day!

This was our first time doing a vrbo and it worked out perfectly for us. The location was central to everything we were doing and the place felt almost like home. Kitchen was supplied with everything we needed to make our meals. Would rent again if we return to the black hills.

We really enjoyed this Private apartment. The property owner was very nice and helpful. The private fire pit and spacious outdoor space was a nice surprise. Great Custer location served us well as a Basecamp for all the incredible places to see in and around the Black Hills.

This was an absolutely beautiful home. I visited with my husband and kids, and all of us loved it. The family enjoyed sitting outside under the stars by the fire pit, and playing cornhole. There was more than enough space for all of us. I especially liked chatting with the host - she was so welcoming and made us feel right at home.

This home was in a beautiful and convenient location close to everything you want to see in the Black Hills. The unit was well appointed and very clean, and the hosts were quick to respond to any needs.

Three of us stayed here for a week and it was an enjoyable location. It is an apartment above the garage and the owners live next door. The space and kitchen are all very new. It is very quiet, as it is at the end of a dirt road, with only a few scattered neighboring houses. There are lots of trees, a campfire area, and the stars are very visible at night. The road connects directly with Highway 16, is close to Custer, and provides easy access to all of the many sites to visit in the area.

Great place with amazing views. Host was very kind and accommodating. Really enjoyed our time there.

We had a very enjoyable staying in the Bluebird's Nest during our trip to the Black Hills. It was super clean and had a well stocked Kitchen and Bathroom. Loved that there was a table large enough for my family of 7 to sit around. The hosts were very conscientious and checked in with us to make sure that we were all set. The location is a little out of the way in Custer, but it was a beautiful property and really cozy. The kids were always wanting to go back to just hang out. It was a great launching off point for all the sites we wanted to hit. Thanks!

The Blue Birds Nest was the perfect place for my family to stay while visiting Custer and the surrounding area. The location in the woods is quiet, with plenty of opportunity to see wildlife. The apartment is beautifully decorated and the kitchen is well-appointed. My family enjoyed playing board games and relaxing in this cozy space. The owners were detailed in their communication both before and after our arrival, checking in to ensure all our needs were met. The Blue Birds Nest was a lovely place to stay and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet restful get-a-way.

The place was absolutely stunning! Was neat and clean which is the most important thing to my family when renting a place. The place was a little off the beaten path but was so neat to see all the deer along the road as we drove to our place every time. I am use to the deer around where I live always running away from you but there they would literally stand 10 feet away from you and act like you weren’t even there! The place was close to all the local attractions and was a nice relaxing place to come back to after a long day of enjoying the local attractions. I would recommend this place over and over again!

This place is amazing. Peaceful and quiet. The host was great. If you want to arrive to an absolutely immaculate place, this is your spot. :)

The pictures don’t do the place justice. The place is beautiful and has everything you would need to cook if you wanted to or just relax. The bunks worked great for our three kids and we had lots of room if needed. Checkin was easy and would definitely stay again!

Wow!! What a wonderful place to stay! Truly the BEST place we have ever stayed! The pictures DO NOT do this place justice, and the peacefulness there is unbelievable. We are a family of 5, and had PLENTY of room to run! The hosts were WONDERFUL!!! They were two of the kindest people we have ever met, and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect! This place felt like home, and was so hard to leave! Definitely will be coming back!

Nice, updated 2 bedroom loft. Enough room for friends or a small family. Bathroom was big and very nice. It was a secluded area tucked away.

Love the seclusion of the property off the beaten path. Very cozy and wonderful place to stay. Very much recommend it.
