Our initial impression of the house was quite favorable. However, upon closer inspection, several deficiencies became apparent. For instance, the air conditioning in one of the rooms did not consistently function, and the faucet broke due to outdated plumbing. In summary, the house presents itself as well-maintained on the surface but is, unfortunately, in a poor state of repair. Regrettably, we had the impression that we were being observed by the owners. This perception arose because we were directed towards issues that could only be discerned through careful and regular scrutiny.

This house has all you need! Excellent views and ubicación.

The property is well appointed and the amenities are great. The bay was great for paddle boarding and kayaking. Close to hanama Bay blowhole and Sandy Beach my favorite for Sunrise. Some of the family really liked having Costco Safeway and all the shops close. Some of the family wanted more up country. But in my opinion anywhere in Hawaii is great. Aloha

More good than bad

The views and location were amazing!! The house was even more amazing! It had everything you need. The open concept of the house was perfect for our family of 6. It was so comfortable and we loved relaxing after a long day exploring the beautiful beaches of Oahu. A total respite! It was also a perk to be right next to a costco and safeway

This is a one of a kind home! The overall space of the home was amazing with plenty of room for work and relaxation. The atmospherics of the location on the water was phenomenal with a daily sea breeze that was very comfortable and even more amazing in the evening. There were plenty of amenities for water sports and relaxation. Anthony the owner was always accommodating and easy to reach. This home is absolutely perfect for a family vacation. The location is great for getting to anywhere you might want to visit during your stay in Oahu. We spent hours on the lanai drinking coffee in the mornings, watching the sunset… From pre-booking to the very last day, Anthony was an extremely responsive and informative host. All of the equipment Anthony and Lisa made available in the home — beach chairs, kayaks and paddleboards, life vests, etc — made our stay so much more fun and exciting. The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans and dishware. We loved this home so much that we started scheming how/when to come back in coming years to enjoy this lovely home on our very first day!

The property is spacious and good location. The washrooms/ showers need to be updated as well as the exterior of the property / lanai needs maintenance and upgrading. The household supplies and beach supplies were greatly appreciated. Anthony was great host and quick to respond to emails. Overall great stay in a beautiful location. Thanks!

Together with five members of my family, we enjoyed a month in this very comfortable home. The location is outstanding, Away from crowded Waikiki, but conveniently located near beautiful beaches and shopping. The kitchen is completely stocked with first class dishes, glasses, and cooking materials, and is well finished. Situated right on the water offers many opportunities to enjoy water sports and a great view.

Great location for our group of 9. We had 2 adults and 7 young adults, ages 18-22. We had enough bedrooms and bathrooms to spread out and not feel cramped. Living room space and outside area was great for our large family. Sat outside every evening and ate dinner, played cards and relaxed. Kids used kayaks and paddleboards. Kitchen was fully stocked. Great having access to washer and dryer with so many of us. Used beach chairs and coolers just about every day. Great location for just about everywhere we went. Host was easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay again!

Great location, clean, and comfortable. Aside from an issue gaining access to the property at check-in, we had a wonderful stay with no complaints. Would definitely recommend this property and hope to stay again during future business trips to Oahu.

The owners were responsive and attentive to our stay requests. We love the location and proximity to all of the best of Hawaii! The back yard access to the Marina was very nice; we used the paddle boards almost daily. Our Hawaiian vacation was ideal and the house was exactly as it was described.

This was a perfect location for our group of 8 after 11 days of cruising to (& around) Hawaii from Vancouver. We were fairly central to everything we wanted to see. Sara was great and replied quickly to any request we had. The guest information book was great for quick information about beaches. We visited Bellows Beach and all 8 of us thought it was the most favoured beach in all of our travels!

Beautiful home. Beautifully location. Near several shops and restaurants (and my fave breakfast spot Koa Pancake House). Highly recommend

The property is well cared for and equipped nicely. We also liked the location which was close to shopping centers, cafes etc.

We had a great stay! Loved walking to Island Brew for coffee in the morning! And really enjoyed being on the water.

It’s is the perfect spot for a family with some water toys!!

Location, House and amenities were great.

Beautiful house! Had so many beach and marina toys! Tons of kitchen supplies. High chair, pack n play, life jackets, everything you could think of. Safeway and costco so close. Just the right distance to Waikiki! Beds were comfy. Our only complaint was that there is coral on the ladder into the marina which is a little painful to climb on. Overall, great house, would definitely stay here again!

There was plenty of room in the house for all 10 family members. The house was very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed to make our dinners. It was wonderful to sit on the patio in the morning and evening. The only thing that was a negative was the refrigerator in the garage didn’t keep our drinks cold. It was a wonderful stay and I would stay here again and recommend this property:)

we wanted to bring our 85 year old mother back to Honolulu where she grew up, and have her share her memories with our teenage daughters. She was able to visit her relatives and friends, see her old house, school and college and create new memories while revising the past. The house is spectacular, with all the necessary amenities, and it is in a very convenient location for groceries, beaches, and boats. Would love to return again some day.

We had a wonderful time in this house spending time with family with lots of laughter, food and drink! It was the perfect setting and great location to be close to everything yet tucked away. Would definitely stay here again. Loved the marina and the daily breeze! Never had to use the AC and the house is well equipped. Thank you Sara for providing such a gem in Hawai'i Kai John -PDX

We were looking forward to staying here based on the pictures and reviews, and we were completely satisfied with the property and amenities. The 4 bedrooms plus the bed just off the living room easily accommodated our group of 10. The kitchen is wonderfully equipped, even had a Ninja blender which we used everyday. With Safeway within walking distance, it was easy to make breakfast and dinner in-house for the whole gang. But maybe the best part are the toys!! We took out the kayaks and paddle board several times, and the snorkeling gear (masks, snorkels, fins, etc.) were just what we needed for Hanauma bay which is only 10 minutes away. As the listing notes, there is air-con in two of the four bedrooms, but the house had a nice breeze so for the most part we didn't need the air-con anyway (November). Very comfortable, very clean, very satisfied all-around with this house. Thanks Sara!

What a fabulous place and location. We had a large group for a dental meeting and everyone had a great time and a good night sleep. The house was equiped with everything anyone could possible want for a great visit and vacation. Only one compalint,. I wanted one more day to sit on the Lanai or take out some of the water toys but had to get back to the mainland

Just returned from Hawaii, spent 3 days at his beautiful and comfortable Hawaii Kai house. We found the house and surroundings to be comfortable and relaxing. Very well maintained. Clean and spacious. The owner was very accommodating and easy to deal with. She checked in often and made sure we were had all we needed. I definitely will rent here again.

Aloha, My family and I absolutely loved this house. It was eight of us. Everything is fully stocked. We are already talking and planning our next trip to Hawaii and will definitely be booking this home for our stay. The view in the morning and evening is just breathtaking. Sara, is just a joy to work with. She was always available to answer any questions that I may have had during the booking process. There were plenty of beach towels, daily towels just all at your convenience. Simply awesome!! The kitchen was stocked with everything needed to cook a meal. It was eight of us so we did grill while we were there and that was very convenient. The beds were super comfy. Thank you Sara for your awesome hospitality and sharing your beautiful home with my family. We can’t wait to make a return trip to Hawaii. Mahalo♥️

Our extended family of 9 enjoyed our 15 day stay and loved every bit of this beautiful, comfortable home. Lots of room to be together or find a quiet space to relax. We tried out the kayaks and stand up paddle board. We were thankful for the beach chairs, cooler, and mats. Used the well-equipped kitchen every day. Nice, quiet neighborhood with grocery and drug stores nearby. We’ve stayed in Waikiki in the past and chose Hawaii Kai this year and are very happy with this home as our choice. Just off the freeway made it easy to get to any place, but away enough to be part of a peaceful neighborhood. Local spots we enjoyed were Kokonuts for shave ice, Leonard’s Malasada-mobile, Kona Brewing Company. Can’t wait to come back.

Location was very convenient to shops and beaches. The house was very clean with all the water amenities you need. We would definitely stay there again.

The house was fantastic and the location ideal. Lovely to sit out on the patio in the evenings and watch the sun set. Food and other shopping within walking distance; bus stops nearby. We were a large family group and there was lots of space for us all to sleep, eat and relax.
