The house was right on the beach and a short drive into the shops. The house had everything you need with enough space for the whole family. We highly recommend this house.

Super location and view. Just a few steps from Hyams or Chinaman beaches. For a family of five (3 children) very comfortable. Well equipped except you have to bring towels an linen. For more people, additional toilet must be installed. The price for this property is very well. Would rent again.

Beautiful views and comfortable home to spend a weekend

Our combined 3 families loved this place. Relaxed and comfortable, felt very much at home. Location is lovely and the deck overlooking the water is magical. Thank you!!

Cosy and spacious place... the location is amazing the only negative point is that the house only has one toilet and is upstairs... not very comfortable if you have a full house with 9 people, the actually capacity.

We have visited the Rowse House 3 times over the past 12 months. It is beautifully positioned at the quieter Chinamans Beach end of Hyams Beach, right on the front looking through the trees and over the bay, with wide knock-out views from the living areas and two of the upstairs bedrooms. Walks from the house are gorgeous, as is the national park nearby. As you can see from the photos, the house itself is not glam or schmick, rather a comfortable well-furnished holiday home, clearly enjoyed by the owners themselves for decades. There are lots of lovely spots for reading and chatting and mooching, the kitchen is well set up for cooking, and by comparison it is very reasonably priced. Comfort level for 2-4 is excellent, for 6-8 a bit less so, as you'd expect at this price point. All in all, we find it a very pleasurable place to stay.

A nice, clean 4 bedroom property with large living area and great views of Jervis Bay. The mattresses were very comfortable (unlike many holiday homes). the property is showing its age but ver good value for money. I would definitely stay at Rowse House again.

This house is in a great location and has quite a 'family' feel to it. Unfortunately it's not fenced, which means that kids and the dog could not use the backyard. Most of the crockery was dirty and greasy, and some plates had chunks of food stuck to them, which was disgusting. Some towels were also dirty and the upstairs bathroom could use a thorough clean. The house is good value for money if you are willing to wash all the dishes before using them and bring your own clean towels.
