Proximity to centre of the City and the Cathedral. There is a Gym close by in the building but did not use. Smelt a bit stale.

Location. Ground floor with noisy busy path inches from window. Outside areas scruffy and unkempt. Although difficult to see in, feels like being in a fish tank. Ball games being played against wall late into the evening. Noisy banging doors. Very poor level of cleanliness. Toaster not emptied of crumbs for some time, oven very dirty, floor dirty, crumbs etc under settee cushions, sticky surfaces in kitchen. Owners sent cleaner but little improvement. Television signal poor could not watch terrestrial channels. Reported it but nothing done during visit. Poor décor. Floor tile grouting breaking up in one bathroom. One of the tiles is lifting and is a trip hazard. Owner said it would be attended to but nothing happened. Settee uncomfortable, mattresses are past their best so dip in the middle. Owner appears very hands off and leaves management and cleaning to third parties. I did suggest more regular inspections might improve matters. Numerous apologies from owner but no offer of recompense. This despite my considerable effort to meet all their requests for evidence and keeping them politely appraised of the issues. I thought at least a waiver of the eighty pound cleaning fee might be appropriate. Felt unclean throughout duration so left early. Be warned owner uses third party to take £200 security deposit and make identity checks. This third party is poorly rated on Trust Pilot and will keep your personal data for up to three years. This is unclear when making reservation through booking.com. I was uncomfortable with this as it is an identity fraud risk. I also found this process irritating and overly complicated. Needed to make up bed on arrival as only one bed made up in each of the two bedrooms. Not much draw or hanging space. What there is is being used for spare bedding etc.

the treatment of staff was very bad, rude, mean, they never respect us and they gave us instructions to clean, was the dishes which is un polite, also they asked us to pay per baby per day where it was not our fault, I have mentioned in booking the number of people and kids and it was really un fair to pay extra… also I didn’t like the quality of towels provided they were so cheap in quality

the apartment was very spacious, comfortable and clean. it was amazing to have so much space and the location is perfect. the staff is very friendly.

Probably the only issue we had was the parking as someone was in our space for two days meaning we had to park in the one next door which made me a bit uneasy.

The location is absolutely fantastic, literally round the corner from Exeter Cathedral. The room was spacious, with everything you could possibly need. The hosts were quick to communicate - it was great!

One of the beds was a bit knackered, large dip in the middle. A bit out of the apartment owner's control but the area with the communal bins was absolutely gross, dead flies just carpeting the floor.

Everything. Great location, very good facilities, very clean. Lovely apartment. Parking excellent. Highly recommended.

for the price, the decor needs tidying up, the bed linen was not great quality - only one pillow each, and a few housekeeping jobs required - like blind pulleys and bath plugs. also very noisy - not well insulated and doors from other flats banging loudly from 7 am, and neighbours dogs barking.

When we left the garage it took us a while to find entrance to apartment. The picture of entrance was good but cannot be seen from side as you leave garage. Air freshener odours not to our liking. Cold when we got there so not very welcoming but heated up nicely later. Two in the party unable to come so just two shared. For me it would have been a bit too snug for four sharing especially in the sofa area and bedroom with en-suite bathroom.

Just a short walk to Cathedral felt very safe walking in and out of the property.

If I had to pick something, the Sofas were too low!!

Really good location and very clean and well laid out

It was really nice to stay here, good for couples, families or a small group of friends. I would definitely stay again and much better than getting a hotel.

The windows are a bit low down so you can’t leave them open overnight etc you can literally climb through them and i would be far too scared to do so! But it’s really not an issue, just get a fan.

It’s on ground floor with people walking right past your windows so needed to keep blinds down & limited opening of windows but if only in the apartment to sleep it’s not a big issue. Parking space provided but it’s very very tight.

we booked this apartment because it advertised wheelchair accessibility. however the wheelchair user could not use either the shower or bath as neither provided the support needed ie grab rails especially as he has restricted mobility

This is good value as it is in a great location - an easy 10 mins walk and you are in the heart of the city center. The appt has great bathrooms/showers and has parking - a must in Exeter! Netflix, Amazon prime, and fast wifi along with a modern kitchen and plenty of elbow room for the three of us. Good beds - easy to fall asleep. Fitness center

The apartment is at street level so everyone can see into the appt (its not one way glass as one reviewer said) and if the windows are open they can just climb in. This means the windows have to be locked open on ventilate (small crack) with the blinds down to get any privacy. The car park is really tight - borderline useless for our X3 and you need to be confident as pillars and cars make maneuvering difficult. Finally, there are students in the block opposite and they were quite noisy Sat night as the partied through till 5am when we gave up and left for home. Finally - only 1 key is just not enough as its needed to enter the block and the appt door. At least you can pass it through the window!
