The host was very easy to get into contact with and check in was a breeze. They mentioned that parking was easy however there were not many open parking spots while we were there that we were able to park in due to needing permits. So parking was a little difficult to find. It also took awhile to get into the touristy areas of town. The side entryway to go to the door to the property was very dark and uneven so it was hard to be safe and not trip walking down the side compartment. We were also told there would be a well lit path. You could hear everyone moving upstairs and neighbors singing at night and throughout the day which made it difficult to sleep. Most of the house appeared to be clean however when inspecting further there was a lot of dust and bugs throughout the property and dead spiders on many of the corner walls. Also the previous guests left food in the microwave and toaster oven that was moldy and smelly and there was hair in the ice that was left in the fridge. They also only gave two towels for two people for a five night stay and when we found other towels in the closet and used those they were upset we went into the linen closet. I was told to put all the used towels on the floor in the bathroom prior to checkout but was scolded that the towels were in a pile on the bathroom floor. Overall for the cheaper price it was an okay stay but hopefully they maintain it better for future residents but I would probably suggest a different VRBO

The VRBO listing accurately portrayed the property’s features. The decor was tasteful, the furnishings were comfortable, and the overall ambiance was inviting. The location of the property was also a highlight. Situated in a serene neighborhood. Additionally, it was conveniently located near popular attractions, making it easy for me to explore the area and take part in various activities. Lastly, I want to express my gratitude to the property owner for their warm hospitality. She made sure that my stay was comfortable and memorable. Overall, my experience at this VRBO property was exceptional. I wholeheartedly recommend it to fellow travelers who are seeking a delightful and stress-free vacation rental.

Went to Vancouver for a conference and stayed at the VRBO. House was close to downtown and close to public transportation. With a quick Uber ride you could be in downtown. Place was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Would stay again if I was visiting Vancouver.

Location is good, safe and quiet. Room is clean and space is luxury. They provided all basic staff for simple cook. Jollean is very friendly and helpful. We dropped our luggages in the very early morning since my family arrived Vancouver pretty early. She communicated with me right after I booked the stay several times and provided valuable information before my trip started. She kept in touch with me all the time while we were staying and always ready to answer questions. There was no tissue and kitchen paper towels. We feel a bit awkward. But there’s enough towels in the room.Not bothered much. Thanks Jollean. A great stay

The ad was very accurate and it's a wonderful little appt. Our host was very helpful and check in went smooth. Our host made suggestions for restaurants and tourist attractions. We have already decided to return to BC and have already spoken with our host about a return visit. Luke Combs was amazing!

Our suite was clean, comfortable and well-equipped for a long weekend stay in Vancouver. Beautiful area, lots of food/shopping nearby. Thank you to Jollean for the hospitality!

We really enjoyed our short stay at this suite. Jollean is very friendly and easy to communicate with. East Vancouver is my favourite part of the city and the suite location is close to the best areas The suite stayed cool in the heat and is well laid out with everything you need. I would definitely stay here again.

I am local to the area and booked Jollean's place for family who were visiting. Jollean was a very attentive host and my parents felt the place was comfortable and quiet. They enjoyed their stay!

Bathroom needs fixing behind toilet. Mouldy baseboards and bubbling paint. The whole place smelled a bit musty. I suggest this gets fixed before renting it out again. However the bed was wonderful, and the kitchen had everything that was needed.

The owner on premises was quick to answer questions and handle any concerns. The apartment was very comfortable - neat and clean - for our two couples. It is located in a very nice area and has conveniences including restaurants in the immediate area. We would stay there agian!

The house was nicely furnished and Jolene, the owner, let us know we were always welcome to ask questions or contact her whenever we needed. She gave us suggestions for shops and places to visit, which was helpful in making our experience fulfilling and fun. The house had supplies available and tea towels in place of paper towels, which was nice to use for less waste. The rooms were comfortable and the chaise even had a blanket underneath when you lifted it up. We found we didn’t want for much when it came to the house. Overall, we had a warm and welcome stay, so we would highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful time at this unit! The host was extremely kind and helpful, the unit was clean, newly outfitted, and stocked with everything than we needed (and more!), and the unit was close to some wonderful shops and restaurants that we ate at. I would definitely return and definitely recommend staying here to anyone.

We enjoyed this suite very much as a family in our trip to Vancouver and Vancouver Island. In this hot season, it kept us in good condition for it was nicely cool. We really recomend it!

Property close to main commercial Street with great restaurants and gelato. Perfect for families wanting to discover Vancouver with a picturesque leafy area as a base. The houses are beautiful, great park nearby and easy transport access.

I booked this place for my grandparents and they enjoyed it. Communication with Jollean was easy and she offered help with answering any questions. The place was surrounded by parks and restaurants. As well equipped with kitchen and bathroom amenities. Overall were happy with the place.

Generous older house basement suite. No heater on. (apparently due to covid) Had 2 space heaters. But they werent sufficient especially one in the livingroom/diningroom area. We had to put the oven on a couple of mornings to take the chill off. Host had shampoo and conditioner but some soap/body wash would have been nice. No hair dryer available. She was made aware.
