Enjoyed our stay in Huron! Home was extremely spotless, kitchen stocked with all accessories to prep meals with high end appliances. Living room furniture was very comfortable, beds were comfortable, bathroom and hot tub towels provided. Great dining table to play games. A gift, bottle of wine and a greeting card was ready for us upon check in. Hot tub was a great hit for us, we played cards on the deck furniture and 3 adults had room to do yoga on the deck. Walking distance to a private beach area with seating and a beautiful view of Lake Erie. Would highly recommend!

Cute, cleansed close to everything

The house and neighborhood is quaint. Unfortunately, when we got to the property we had to throw away moldy coffee grounds and put away the dishes in the dishwasher. The stairs were extremely steep, and the mattresses were the cheapest ones you can buy. There were yellow stains covering both pillow shams on the cheap flat pillows in my room and 2 out of the 3 lights in the room didn't work. All of that would have been no big deal, except that I thought we had one more day than we actually had. Check out is at 11:00 am. A couple of minutes after 11:00, the owner Jennifer called me and told me her daughter (the cleaning lady) was there and we had to get out. I felt very embarrassed to have made that mistake and within 45 minutes, we had completely packed, cleaned up, dumped all the trash, washed and put away all dishes (which is more than the previous tenants), and had left the property. Even so, Jennifer demanded that we pay her daughter $30 for having to wait 50 minutes for us to leave. Jennifer's daughter had not been waiting for us but was picking up the branches and debris that had fallen from the surrounding trees from a storm the previous day, including a giant tree limb that had fallen inches from our rental car! (That could have been ugly!) I immediately paid her daughter the $30, but the whole thing left a bad taste in my mouth and ruined the rest of our vacation.

This property was just what we needed for our getaway. From the hot tub to the small beach at the end of the road to sit, relax & watch the waves crash in. When we were seeking a larger beach for a walk, Jennifer was sure to provide details to fulfill our search. Although we were on the tail end of the walleye fishing season, we were able to book with "South of Heaven" guide service and land 3 walleye (enough for a nice dinner). The only bad thing about our stay was that it didn't last long enough! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Had a wonderful Labor Day week-end at this property. Found the house to be very clean and comfortable to relax in and just enjoy the company of family. House had all the bells and whistles in the kitchen for cooking, and beds were very comfortable. The neighbors were also very friendly to chat with on the walk to the beach. My dogs enjoyed it very much as well, they have never been to a beach before. The only comment I want to suggest is - if you are going to allow dogs, it would be nice to have a fenced yard or maybe a dog run. It's probably been close to 50 years since I've been to Lake Erie, think we will go back at some point soon. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We had everything we needed, it was a nice short walk to the private beach, close to Cedar Point, and it was great to have our doggies with us. Jenni was very easy to contact and answered any questions we had very quickly.

We loved this house, it was in a quiet neighborhood with good proximity to Cedar Point and other points of interest. The house was exceptionally clean and very spacious. The owner provides a lot of amenities, it is well stocked. She was also quick to reply to messages. Excellent experience.

This property is the perfect location to everything. Jenni was very responsive and made sure we had all that we needed for a relaxing stay. Very clean property with plenty of room for 6 guests. We had a wonderful time. We would definitely stay here again!!

We throughly enjoyed our stay at the house in Huron. It is an older home, with updates and we enjoyed the charm. We loved that we had outdoor shaded seating in front and in back of house. The hot tub was awesome!!! The beach was extremely close and we enjoyed just sitting listening to the waves before heading back for a dip in the hot tub. Very close to Cedar Point and Sandusky. It was nice to come back after a long day to a nice quiet neighborhood. Jenni, our hostess was very attentive and made sure she was available for questions or help at the property. We had a few suggestions to help with accessibility, and she was opened to our comments and eager to make improvements to an already awesome place. So glad to find a pet friendly place that is also well maintained and clean. We appreciate all the hard work that owners like Jenni put into their property and allow others to enjoy too. We hope to stay again!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Willow Grove Lake House. The property was very clean and comfortable. All the amenities of home were available. The short walk to the private beach was very nice. Jenni was easy to contact if needed and super sweet! We were a family of 3 and a large dog. We had more than enough room at this home. I would highly recommend and would definitely stay again. Also a very short drive to Cedar Point and other beaches.

Perfect house for our group of 6 people. Good location. Within 30-40 minute driving time of many places/activities. Quiet neighborhood. Really enjoyed drinking our coffee each morning on the front porch!

We had a great time , close to cedar point and the ferry for put in bay . Could walk to a little beach at the end of the block which was great for the young kids.

We had such a good time. My husband and I took the kids for Halloweekends at Cedar Point. We have found it to be better to rent houses than to stay in hotels. This house and owner are superb. Beautiful and clean yet homey house. It's lovely. It felt calming and peaceful. Even with 4 kids ages 10 to 12 and a 4 mo old puppy. So great. The owner is just as pleasant as can be and is a sweetheart. She was incredibly good to us.
