I have stayed here on a number of occasions (In fact when visiting Portsmouth I Am disappointed if I leave it too late and there are no rooms left), everything about the stay is Professional and slick.

One night break

We stayed for two night over the weekend and needed somewhere close to the station but not too near town, with good security. This was perfect. On both mornings we had a lovely breakfast and used the cooking facilities once which were very efficient and clean. The owner of the house had left clear instructions for any queries and had thought out the house very well, and was very friendly when we saw her.

Just what was needed

Short break to take in a family members ashes being committed to the sea.

We were coming just for a short stay to see interesting places and do some shopping.

A prefect stay in a quiet guest house.

I stayed one night at Blue Star. I was comfortable and felt that Charlotte had prepared everything really well, even my name on the list of people staying that night displayed in the entrance hall.

Clean bedroom, bathroom, Kitchen & all facilities Excellent location, 2 min walk from all local shops, restaurants & pubs . 10 min walk to Clarence pier & seafront Emma the manager was very friendly & was always around if you needed her Wouldn’t stay anywhere else

Very nice and comfortable

Stayed for two nights before a trip to the Isle Of Wight for 5 days. Stayed in Room 2, which is downstairs; very well furnished with a lovely en-suite wet room. Shared kitchen facilities were superb. Sometimes things go wrong; for us the door code was accidentally deleted after the first night, but a quick call to Charlotte and it was sorted instantly - exceptional service when things do go wrong makes a place stand out as special.
