Very nice and clean property. Very nice location just right on beach

We had a great time overall. The beach was convenient. House had plenty of room with beds and bathrooms. Pool was way smaller than it looked. We hired a private chef to come and cook for us and the oven doors were broken. So the temperature wouldn't stay consistent. They had to take the food home to cook and bring it back. The elevator should not be extra since the kitchen is on the 3rd floor. We had several with mobility issues so we had to pay for the elevator last minute. As well as for the chef since they had tons of equipment.

We were slight disappointed in the house at 1 Collier Beach Road. There were several issues we encountered- It appeared that the house was not inspected well after the last renters left- we found clothes in the drawers as well as a wallet and marijuana “ frozen cookie dough” in the garage refrigerator! There was trash left behind the shrubbery that had been dropped from the pool area- beer cans,food wrappers etc. The house was nicely decorated and the kitchen was fairly well equipped but the oven doors don’t function properly and it was difficult to deal with. They need to be replaced. And the bed linens didn’t fit the beds! The king size bed had a top sheet that was perhaps a twin size.But there was plenty of space for our large family and we had a wonderful time. The beach is just beautiful and this is a great location.

The house itself was nice and big. When we arrived a maintenance crew was cleaning up from a leak from the pool. The garage was a giant puddle that they mopped with PineSol. The entire week the downstairs smelled of mildew/sewage/ PineSol. I understand that things happen, but not even an apology/explanation text from Brian Davis who was the only contact listed on VRBO. Thankfully I got a property mgr # from a maintenance guy. I would need it. Before booking this place I texted Brian a question about the house. He never replied but I decided to book anyway. The listing said there was an elevator usage fee for the week but would be waived for medical necessity. I sent a message that I needed use of the elevator as I have been on disability for 6 months with an ankle issue. His reply was that the fee was actually twice what was in the listing and completely ignored my medical issue. I went ahead and paid the higher fee because I really needed that elevator. When we got to the property all of the elevator access doors have a combination lock. Brian never provided me that code. I texted him and have still never heard back from him. It’s been 3 weeks. Luckily I had gotten the property manager number from the maintenance guys and he gave me the elevator access code. Pool company was out July 3rd and 5th to fix the leak. Until then the pump was shut off and the pool became a floating mass of dead bugs. Not even a Sorry message from the owner.

Wonderful location right off the beach. Perfect set up for teenagers to have lower levels to sleep and hang out with adults room to relax upstairs. Kitchen is somewhat under stocked if cooking for as many people as can sleep there. We had 8 forks for 16 people. Only found one baking pan. Other than that, fantastic house and had a memorable and enjoyable stay!

The sizable house is located just off the beach and offered everything my group (13 guys) needed for a fun weekend. The owner was very communicative and was always available to answer questions. I highly recommend renting this property if you’re traveling to Hilton head.

We had a great time. The house was clean, plenty of bedrooms and the beds were very comfortable. We would definitely come back.

We loved the area this house is in. The house has everything one could need on a vacation and is built to handle large groups. The house does need some updating. It has some obvious signs of wear and tear - marks on the walls, furniture a bit worn, fridge filter needing to be replaced and some lights and air intakes uncovered. Overall, the house just needs a bit of a refresh and a new set of online photos. Still, the house is clean and perfectly located on a quite beach. With some touch ups, I’d come again.

We loved the house. It’s very well decorated and the bedrooms were perfect for our large family gathering. We really loved the location and the extra beach toys in the garage were a major plus. We will be sure to rent again when we come back to town.

Terrific vacation. Property was clean and ready at check-in time. There were only three items that could use some attention 1. Window in entry level bedroom, one by front door, wouldn't close. 2. Both oven doors would not close completely. Especially the bottom. 3. Dishwasher detergent door would not open to allow detergent in. We just dropped in the bottom and worked fine.

This house and location were great. Such a quick and convenient walk to a beautiful beach. We loved visiting Coco’s next door, and going from beach to pool all day. Lots of great walking/running routes. The house fit us all perfectly, especially with all the kids in the basement. We couldn’t have asked for anything more, except possibly more forks in the kitchen and a larger pool. But the community pool was literally across the street and a great option. Thanks for a wonderful week!!!

We’ve rented several houses for several years for our growing family. We all agree this was the best one so far especially the bedrooms and all the bunk beds. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The only complaint was the locations of the air conditioner vents. When sitting in chairs and sofa in living room, we would get cold but we figured out a remedy! It’s a great house for our 10 grandchildren who had their own spaces to play in. The beach there is wonderful and we hope to go back next year.

We had a wonderful long weekend in this home. It’s plenty spacious for big groups, close to several amenities, and a skip jump and hop from the beach. We plan to stay again in the future!

The location was great, direct access to the beach. The home provided enough space for our group. I will say that I’m his is the first home that I rented on VRBO that I wasn’t able to tour in person prior to paying the remainder of my balance. There were some things that interrupted the weekend, like the pool lights not working, toilets not working properly, 3 remotes in the entire house, the oven doors not closing properly which made the kitchen area a little warm. The property manager sent over the pool guy and provided additional remotes for the televisions, and the PM’s spouse came and fixed the toilets, but failed to bring back tape for the ovens so our chef prepared the rest of our meals on his grill that he had with him. I was also charged more for the use of the elevator than what was listed in the VRBO description. There are no sockets in the makeshift bedroom downstairs, and the house cleaner didn’t leave until 35 mins after we arrived. Other than that our trip was decent.
