Every time someone was taking a shower the power would cut off, very noisy air conditioning in the room

Meticulously cleaned,well maintained and near in major attractions. The staff are very accommodating specially Sir James. He always checked us and he’s always open arms to help everyone. He’s a very good PR of the property.

We have the best stay at Siargao Residency right from the beginning until the end. It’s very clean, well maintained and close to everywhere (in between the main street where everything is and Cloud9). The staff are very warm, friendly and very attentive to our needs. They also organised the tours for us to make sure we get the best deals and are very accommodating. Kuya James is the best. He’s very responsive and very kind. He made sure we have all what we need and if there’s a problem he personally check it to make sure its ok. We really felt the warmth of the people during our stay. Jasmine and Douglas are the cutest and gives the best customer service with cuddles and kisses too. We will definitely come back to Siargao and stay at the residency. Thank you guys!!

This resort is a little gem. Polished by its host, James, who was very helpful and friendly. He gave a lot of great tips and was available for help 24/7.

The bar chef was very accommodating,friendly, approachable and helpful. Me and my daughter felt welcome during our stay. Kuya J's breakfast was lush!

James was Mr. everything for us! Tourist info, PR, chef, bartender and excellent comraderie! He was the most memorable part of our stay in the resort, his breakfast was the best and we tried other breakfast places in the area but kept coming back to James instead. The bar area was great, we also got to meet other travellers and chitchat over drinks or a meal.

No microwave in our unit, villa 5. That would have been handy. The booking.com confirmation that I received indicated that the 2 bedroom villa we rented had it’s own private pool but in fact its one pool that’s shared amongst all guests. Despite all the villas appearing to be occupied, we still had the pool all to ourselves when we wanted to use it. The photos online showed a rocky beach which I thought was just by the villas, it tirned out to be behind the villas but on a lot not cleared for easy access/traffic. Still a really great view to just have a look at the water/bay but not to swim. No worries, Cloud 9 was just a short walk away or you can take a tricycle for 20-30 pesos per person. It was overall, an excellent stay. We plan to come back with our kids! Thanks Mr. Everything (James)!!!!!

Loved super James. He is the lynchpin that makes it all happen. The villa was an oasis where we could relax, and James took care of everything from hiring a tuk tuk for us to drive to sorting out our washing.

The people that looked after us. James was a great help. Organised everything we asked. Made us an awesome breakfast very early. The beautiful ate who looked after us every day. And of course the security guards. Was such a pleasure to meet you all.

My only annoyance was the security light in the eve directly out side the bedroom window. Lights up the room a lot to 12 am. But it’s nothing really. I just like a really dark room to sleep.

James the PR Officer was super friendly - he gave us loads of information on Siargao - set us up with surf lessons and was a great help the whole time we were there

It was not as advertised. The pool was not private for each cottage, the decoration was old and dark. The reception area was untidy and the staff were not helpful. They said that if I wanted an expensive villa I should have booked one!

Front desk people have Crews guided us to our villa… they are warmed & welcomimg. During our stay the most hospitality we’ve got is from James… felt so comfortable & enjoyable. Thankful & Grateful for James & the security Manong for making ride arrangements at 4am from the resort to the next town & be Able to catch 1st ferryboat ride of the day! We really Appreciated It!

I can’t fine a words to say that makes me say “I don’t like”

Property near Cloud 9; you get what you pay for, it felt secure and had mosquitos nets and aircon. Everyone there is very friendly and helpful. James in particular (PR head and Bar man) goes above and beyond to help us, makes sure we are always safe (though Siargao felt like a very safe island anyway). He even offered to make us breakfast before we left for our flight at 5am! We found our surfing instructor Joemelyn through this hotel. All these things really made our trip so amazing and personal - Thanks for making our trip so special :)

Un absoluto desastre! Empecemos por el alojamiento, de las fotos a la realidad es que como el ve algo por Amazon y lo pide por AliExpress. Pides un 10 y te llega un 0. Fotos desactualizadas, mobiliario roto, alojamiento 0 cuidado. No hablemos de la limpieza, se vive mejor en el manglar de fuera que dentro. Además, hubo mucha lluvia y había 4 goteras enormes por la villa que pusieron todo pringando. El costumer service 0. No están orientados al cliente ni q hacer sentir especial. Lo que sí es especial el collage que tenien montado en las habitación con 25 adviser de tu rompes tu pagas, tu pierdes tu pagas. En serio que por el precio que supone pasar una noche aquí no merece la pena.

Ratte 🐁 in der Villa. Jedoch wurde bzw. Konnte um 19 Uhr nichts mehr gemacht werden. Am nächsten Tag wurde uns versprochen da Problem zu beseitigen. Als wir am Abend zurückkamen, entdeckten wir in der Villa mehrere Klebestreifen gegen Ratten. Auf Nachfrage teilte man uns mit, dass man an einem halben Tag die Ratten nicht aus der Villa entfernen konnte. Mit einem Baby ist die ganze Sache nicht so spaßig. Man kam uns entgegen und wir haben ein Zimmer in einem Hotel in der Stadt bekommen. Man versprach uns, dass dies sogar ein Upgrade wäre und es ruhig sei bzgl. Lärm. Das Zimmer war ein downgrade!!! Im Erdgeschoss mit großen Glasscheiben, jeder konnte reinschauen und der Lärm war Tags sowie Abend nicht auszuhalten. Auf Nachfrage einer Erstattung seitens des Hotels sowie Booking.com wurde dies verneint!! Sehr enttäuschend. Das Hotel ist nicht zu empfehlen.

岛上时不时停电会影响住宿体验，酒店的位置不太好，离GL有点远，外出就餐不方便，离Cloud9也有点距离，步行过去需要10分钟。酒店不提供免费的早餐，餐厅的早餐定价有点高。

We had a great time here! James (bar tender/host) organised so many activities for us we enjoyed it all. He arranged our island hopping, surf lessons, in room massage, airport transfers, motor bike rental. His breakfasts by the pool were so fun. Food was yummy and the kids got to swim while we relaxed. 10/10 for James! The villas are basic but comfortable enough. Good location between cloud 9 and general Luna - never waited more than 1 minute for a tuk tuk.

They didn’t ask or keep some very loud & rude people quieter in & around the pool area. So a lot of guests couldn’t use the pool because of the noise and very rude guests

This place is ideal for those who want a bit more privacy and quiet away from General Luna and Cloud 9 (although very close and easily accessible for both locations). All of the facilities are also for guests only so the place does not feel crowded. We stayed in a two-bedroom apartment which was very spacious and had all the basic things you need. James, the PR officer was extremely welcoming and helpful with arranging island and land tours, as well as arranging our boat tickets back to the mainland. Nothing seemed like too much for him to do and he made our stay even better. We did have an maintenance issue with the shower but once we reported the matter it was sorted out very very quickly! Overall, I would recommend this place to stay and I wouldn't hesitate to return.

Lush Greenery: Siargao Residency is enveloped in a beautiful garden with an abundance of plants, creating a serene and relaxing atmosphere. Exceptional Staff: The staff members were incredibly accommodating. One staff member even provided his WeChat number, ensuring that we could easily reach out if we needed any assistance or had questions. Their attentiveness made our stay more enjoyable. Swimming Pool: Although we didn't have the opportunity to use it due to our busy schedule, the property boasts a lovely swimming pool that could be a great way to unwind. Bathroom: The bathroom was well-maintained, and we particularly appreciated the availability of both hot and cold water in the shower. The presence of a bidet was a definite plus. Cozy Beds: The beds were comfortable and aesthetically pleasing with mosquito nets. However, the only drawback was the quality of the pillows; they could use an upgrade. Well-Equipped Kitchen: The kitchen was stocked with high-quality utensils, which added to the overall convenience of our stay. Generator Backup: Siargao often experiences power interruptions, but Siargao Residency has invested in generators, ensuring a seamless experience during such outages.

Inadequate Air Conditioning: The air conditioning units in our villa were undersized for the room's dimensions, which made it challenging to cool the space adequately, especially with six occupants. Unreliable Internet: This place is not suitable for remote work or freelancers due to the unstable and slow internet connection. Despite the presence of StarLink, the WiFi was insufficient, and we frequently had to rely on our mobile data.

We had a pleasant stay and the kids loved the pool. James is very friendly and helpful. Our kids enjoyed playing with Patrick, who is also very attentive to our needs. Joel and Jesse too!

Even though the receptionist forgot to arrange our airport transfer (we waited 30 mins at the airport), we are very impressed by the rest of the staff. A nearby fire caused a power outage for a few hours at 2am. There was no air conditioning and the heat was unbearable. I hope they can get a bigger backup generator. Their private beach was bare.

The place, location, are good. Staff are courteous and nice except the girl claiming to be the manager.

There was an unfortunate incident when my brother-in-law fell off from the chair in the terrace (estimated 3 ft high). It was a bad fall, turned out the chair was rusty that's why it broke. The guard and some staff were kind enough to help him. However, the woman who claimed to be the manager was rude and disrespectful, and always stressing that the resort owner is not liable. We weren't even implying that time about liability but that's what she cared about rather than the condition of the guest. .

The location is perfect 🤩 it’s so close to Cloud 9 and the main town. Also, the staffs were great and very helpful especially James who made our stay comfortable.

The AC at Villa 1 could be better. But other than that, the facility is great, especially the kitchen, it is very useful 👌🏻
