It was wonderfull

My mom and I stayed here for three nights while we visited Mount Rushmore and Rapid City. The two bedroom cottage was clean and spacious with a nice kitchen and bathroom. There was covered parking and a nice deck with grill. I recommend these cottages.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Great service.. Very clean and comfortable cabin for family. The lake is beautiful and my grandson loved the paddle boats! Convenient location. We look forward to returning for our next trip to the Hills.

We enjoyed our stay here, particularly since it was in a conveniently located between Mount Rushmore and the Badlands. The cabin was rustic and homey in a way that reminded me of my grandma’s home (in a good). It was wonderful to have two bedrooms, a living room, and a kitchen instead of cramming our family of four into a two beds and a bucket hotel room for the same price.

Lake Park Campground and Cottages provide the perfect location on the western edge of Rapid City for all your sightseeing in western South Dakota. Almost everything you might want to see is within a 30-60 minute drive. Very convenient. The cottage we stayed in was extremely clean with very comfortable beds, more than adequate linens provided, and a fairly well-equipped kitchen. There is an outside grill which we did not use but all cottages seem to have them. There is a microwave in the kitchen but ours was on top of the fridge so, without stating the obvious, it is not usable. Not sure why someone thought to put it there but there it was, over my head. The bathroom was spotlessly clean and the water pressure in the shower was great, with plenty of hot water. It is a little tight in there because the full-size water heater is right by the sink but after all, it is a cottage and you make due. The tub did not drain well, which was unpleasant, but you just shower faster. Our favorite part of our stay here was the deer that greeted us every morning and every evening. At one point we counted a dozen coming through. They are very sweet and seem to be used to having folks around. This well-maintained property provides a very clean, quiet and relaxing vacation spot which we enjoyed and highly recommend.

Nice clean cabin that was just like it was advertised. Nice quiet area that was centrally located for or daily site seeing trips. Would definitely recommend.

This area is gorgeous, loved how close we were to the lake and enjoyed our stay. met our expectations, rustic cabin with limited amenities.

Awesome location clean cabins

This was a cute cabin with a lot of space for 4 adults. Loved the patio with gas grill included. Also this particular property also had a car port. Property was kept up very as well and everyone we spoke with here was very friendly and helpful. Only complaint is the hide away bed had a very thin mattress so my adult kids took turns sleeping on the couch folded up. We would stay here again.

Cabin was perfect for our family. The cabin was clean. And, the deck was great. Centrally located to all our day trips around Rapid City. Great stay! Great spot!

Great little cabin centrally located. We stayed for a week and found lots of things to do all within 30 minutes of our cabin. The staff was amazing! Will definitely be back!

The property was beautiful in in the fall and we even had resident deer that wandered through. While we had neighbors, it was very quiet and peaceful. The two-bedroom cabin had plenty of room and was very comfortable. And while the kitchen was equipped with the basics but it would have been great if salt, pepper, and sugar were made available.

The neighborhood was quiet. Cabin clean and had everything you could want--including lamps so you can read a book either sitting in a chair, couch or in bed!!

Very Quiet Property. Easy access to all Attractions. It was great to have a Full Kitchen. Front Deck was very nice and peaceful. The Office Guy and the Owner were Very friendly and helpful. The maintenance man even happily helped us when we had a question.

Cottage was quiet and clean. Had the essentials and was the perfect location to be close to all our activities. Would recommend!

We started each day of riding from here. Seems to be the going room rate for this area and time of year but with the ability to save some money by cooking your own meals. We had no trouble with noise and it is very well kept. It advertises wi-fi and it does have it but it pretty slow. Just a heads up if you need fast internet. Definitely a nice place to stay.

We stayed during the Hills Alive concerts. Price was reasonable. Cabin was clean. Beds were comfortable. Adequate linens were provided. Everything was wonderful except the toilet was the height of a preschool toilet. Not the best for older family members. Everything else was perfect!

Our family enjoyed our time here. It was very low key and quiet.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at this Lake Park Cabin. The cabin is rustic, well stocked with anything we needed and very clean. We loved sitting on the deck in the mornings and evenings. Our kids lived fishing and playing in Rapid Creek. The location was great for exploring all around southwest SD. We were able to see so much all within an hours drive.

This cabin was the perfect getaway for my husband and I. Close enough to get to everything we wanted to see, but quiet and peaceful when we returned.

We enjoyed our stay. We were glad that we read other reviews and got a deluxe cabin so we could have a kitchen table and carport. Everything was clean and lots of towels. We needed a few things from the office and had excellent customer service. You will see deer everyday! We walked to the lake and kids enjoyed splashing in the creek and going for a paddle boat ride. It's a short drive to chapel in the hill, Dino Park, storybook island playground, geology museum, and lots of other attractions. Overall a great location.
