Amazing location and the view was immaculate! Cabin was beautiful! Perfect for us!

The name says it all… Oasis in the Hills! We were celebrating our anniversary with our kids and grandkids (6 adults and 5 kids). The property offered plenty of room and space for the kids to play both inside and out. Although there were plenty of bathrooms, there were only 2 shower/baths available which not a big problem for our family. Check-in was easy and communication with our host (Kelly) was excellent. Location was excellent with beautiful views of the hills. Our grandkids loved seeing the horses nearby and playing in the spacious yard. We had a bonfire every night. Custer is a wonderful town with great restaurants and shops. Apart from visiting the regular sites (Mt Rushmore and Crazy Horse, etc.) renting ATV’s for an afternoon was a highlight of the trip. I highly recommend this property and would definitely stay there again.

We came for a wedding and extended our stay for a family vacation. We had a wonderful time. The house had everything we needed and was very spacious and clean. We loved the yard and the fire pit that also had firewood.

The house was big enough for our group and also cozy enough for everyone to gather. The location to town and the major attractions was excellent too. I highly recommend the property house and location. The property hoat, Kelly, was great to work with.

Our family of 11 people (six adults and 5 grandchildren) had a great stay at this home. The furniture was very comfortable and the kitchen was really well stocked and met all of our needs. We did day trips and saw alot of the attractions the Black Hills had to offer and came back to the home for our evening meal. We enjoyed seeing the deer run through the back yard and listened to cyotes howling at each other. We only wish we had had more time to sit and relax and enjoy the scenery. We would love to come back.

We had a wonderful stay at the house. The house had plenty of room for our group of 4 adults and 5 kids. The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of plates/ bowls/ cups and utensils. Property manager (Kelly) was quick to respond to any questions I had. It was a great location for everything we did in the Black Hills. The kids loved the to watch the neighbor's horses from the porch. Would highly recommend and would stay again.

Spacious home with many amenities. Setting was beautiful and a great location to visit the Black Hills, Mount Rushmore, Jewel and Wind Cave, Custer State Park, Crazy Horse, the Badlands and much more. Highly recommend a stay here.

My family had an amazing stay at this property. The location to everything in the Black Hills area was perfect. We left early each morning to explore and loved coming back to such a relaxing and peaceful home. And the manager was wonderful and very responsive.

This cabin does not disappoint. It exceed all of our expectations. We were traveling with kids ages 6-14 and truly had everything you could ever need. Look no further and book here for an amazing trip in SD. The location is centrally located to all area attractions. Coming back to a beautiful cabin after a day of sight seeing was exactly what we wanted for our vacation. The cabin has a horse farm which provides a beautiful landscape. We had bonfires, played corn hole and had most of our meals at the cabin. The hosts are great with communication and go out of their way. They have thought of everything. THANK YOU!

The home was amazing. Very clean, had room for all of our family. Kelly was very great to work with. We had no problems with anything. The yard was great for our grandchildren to play on, and also the adults enjoyed it playing corn hole. Thank you for a enjoyable experience. Will definitely stay there again if we are ever in the area

This was a terrific property. The main living area with the large dining table was absolutely perfect for meals and game playing with many people. Bedrooms are spacious and 4 bathrooms are great. The double attached garage was a plus. Close proximity to all attractions makes it a quick drive to anywhere in the Hills. The view is absolutely stunning and the sunsets are gorgeous. Would highly recommend this property.

This was a beautiful place to stay that our while family will be talking about for years. The views from the deck, the horses grazing right outside were beautiful. Enough room for all 11 too. Best of all, so many places to visit just a short drive away.

We stayed here in July 2022 with a multi-family group. The house has beautiful views of the Black Hills from decks on all three levels. Everything was very comfortable and well-equipped, with a good variety of bedroom/bed combinations to suit different ages and family configurations. The location is great - about 20 minutes from Wind Cave and the middle of Custer State Park, while being only 5 minutes to groceries and gas in Custer. We would definitely stay here again - highly recommend!

Definitely sleeps 14 but 2 of the baths are only half baths which is a bit of an issue with a large group. Home is very nice.

We had 12 people, 7 adults and 5 children aged 11 to 2 and we could not have asked for a more perfect vacation cabin. The cabin was beautiful and clean the view was amazing! We saw tons of wildlife. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed and more. It was roomy and had plenty of space for all of us to sleep and relax after hikes. The hosts were prompt to respond to questions. Easy close access to Custar state park, wind cave, jewel cave, and Mount Rushmore. So much to see see and do all very close.

The location was perfect with a 10-25 minute drive to different trailheads in Custer State Park. You cannot beat the view from the decks! This beautiful home was perfect for my whole family. Many family members were happy to hang back from the hikes just to relax and soak in the views from the house. My 2 year old nephew was endlessly entertained by watching the horses and took several walks a day with his grandpa to walk past them. The house had plenty of space and everything we needed. Highly recommend. Everyone loved it.

A perfect place to stay while visiting the black hills! We had plenty of room for our three families and the property was clean and well maintained. Kelly was very accessible and friendly to work with. And to top it off, the views are amazing.

We really enjoyed our stay at Peaceful Pines. The property was spotless and well-stocked, which we really appreciated. The beds were comfortable, and the location was great.
