Had a blast! Very well equipped with great location!

Our group of 8 had a great stay here. The dock is large and the area is perfect for floating and paddling without a lot of boat traffic. The house came with everything we needed to make all our meals, store leftovers, etc. The beds were comfortable, there were lots of towels and good toiletries provided, and we all enjoyed our time here!

We loved Calm Water Cove! This was our first time to Lake of the Ozarks. There were activities for everyone—we rented a boat for tubing & cliff jumping. Some shopping & restaurants on the Bagnell Dam strip The Lake is peaceful to float around the cove or hang out on the dock. I found this beautiful property to be just as advertised.

We had a fabulouse stay at Calm Water Cove. There were 11 of us, including 7 kids ages 1-13. The cove was perfect for swimming off the dock, using the lily pad, etc. We brought our boat and were able to easily access the lake and restaurants. The 4 bedrooms allowed for plenty of room for everyone to sleep. We appreciated all the included amenities so we didnt have to worry about packing towels, toiletries, soap, etc. We had a great stay and would love to return!

Great place but parking is horrible. This was our 2nd booking and because of the parking we don't think we ill rent this location again.

We were amazed at how well stocked the home was, including alot of little "extras" that really made you feel welcomed. We've stayed at alot of places that claim to be well stocked but these guys really went above and beyond! The house just had a cozy warm feel and the boat dock was an extra bonus for fishing and kayaking. We didn't catch many fish but it was relaxing just sitting down on the dock. My Husband and I had a very nice long weekend getaway here. Would highly recommend!

Calm Water Cove is a beautiful, cozy lake house! It is nicely decorated and furnished……we had everything we needed. The 3 1/2 bathrooms are very nice! Beds are comfortable! We also enjoyed the outside areas! The house and deck is well maintained! We also tried out the kayaks….we all loved it!! I highly recommend Calm Water Cove……you won’t be disappointed!!! We will definitely be back!!!

Adorable home and well stocked for an enjoyable experience! The cove is just as described with an awesome dock which allowed you to find sun or shade any time of the day. There were multiple tables and chairs on the decks in various locations that also were great with the sun/shade. The home was very clean, well maintained,, and beds and bedding very comfy. We had no issues with regulating the air conditioning systems, however the owner’s response from the august review was very helpful. The use of the kayaks, life vests, and beach towels is a great amenity. Kitchen was well stocked and an extra gas bottle was supplied for the grill. The upstairs hall bathroom tub/shower had very reduced water pressure,. Other than that, it was an incredible home and a wonderful experience!

We fell in love with Calm Water Cove based on the pictures and overall the experience did not disappoint. There was plenty for all to enjoy as far as games, water activities and tv (not that we were there to watch tv, but we did have a bit of a rainy day that was spent mostly inside and multiple tv options panned out well for our crew). The house was very cute and had plenty of room to accommodate our two families (4 adults, 6 kids ages 10-17). We brought spares of things like hand soap, toilet paper, paper towels, etc, but enough of everything was provided, so that's a win! Unloading and reloading vehicles was a bit of a workout as the house is built on a hill and there is no way to drive up to the door - we did break a little sweat while getting our steps in during that process, but we probably needed it anyway;). One of the neighbors was a little grouchy and it did feel like they were watching us at times. For the sake of unloading only (we had planned to move it immediately after unloading), we pulled a vehicle up so the back end was at the top of stairs. In doing so, we were too close to the neighbor's driveway and they came out to tell us we couldn't be there. It is clearly marked and we were at fault, so we take responsibility for that. We were also told to "keep it down" while emptying recycling into the outdoor garbage at 8:45 one morning and several times while we were enjoying the dock, they seemed to be lingering around watching us as opposed to actually enjoying their own space. The upstairs showers could use a little work. The main bathroom shower had very little water pressure and it was hard to find a happy medium between hot and cold. The master bedroom shower wasn't draining very quickly so water was pooling in the tub while showering. The only other suggestion we might offer would be to add a second grill or replace the current one with something a little bigger. Certainly not a deal breaker, but when grilling for 10 people, the current grill is a little on the small side. Overall, we enjoyed out time in Clam Water Cove! It was a great spot for our needs and intended use. We would highly recommend it to others looking for a quiet get-away (given the neighbor situation, we would not recommend it for as a "party place" (ie. girls/boys trip, bachelor/bachelorette party).

We absolutely loved our stay! The location in a quiet cove with a private dock was excellent. We rented a boat for one of the days, and hung out in the cove another day using the provided kayaks, paddle board, & lilly pad. We ate all but one meal in the house due to little ones and a 25 minute drive through windy roads to most restaurants. House has everything you need. The only negatives were that a lot of dishes and pots/pans weren't very clean, but that is another guest's fault, not the owner's. And we found the bedrooms got warm our first night (80 degrees on our baby monitor) so we had to leave doors open at night and utilize the fans to get the rooms cooler the following night. All in all, a great little gem that we would happily return to!

This property is exactly as described. We arrived to a cute welcome basket with goodies and an adorable house to enjoy for the weekend. The water is perfect and safe for swimming without worrying about a lot of waves from boaters. Perfect location and close to everyplace we wanted to go. Family had a great time! We will likely try to rent this same location next year for our annual Ozarks Family Trip!

We just completed a 3 day stay at the Calm Water Cove and I could not be more satisfied with the property and overall experience. We rent several properties through VRBO every year and I can absolutely say this one was the best managed out of all we have ever rented. It's the attention to detail that made the difference. From the detailed information package, to labeling all the cabinets and drawers so you can easily find things, to providing towels to help limit packing, to providing water toys, etc...it was apparent Rick and Allison take pride in their property and ensuring their guests have an stress free time. We would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

Perfect house for a family vacation. Ages ranged from 5-60. Dock was great for lake activities. Amenities were great! This is a fabulous rental!

Great dock space, layout of home was great and we enjoyed the hosts communication and thoughtful details. Wonderful boating access and nice location for a multi family trip with a wide age range.

This spot was perfect for the two families that stayed with a total of 6 kids ages 2-7. Waters were calm back in the cove so we were able to swim right off the dock with the little kids. There was a lily pad and even had a little splash pad setup that the kids LOVED! Everything was fantastic from the calm cove waters, close boat ride to restaurants, organization of the house and amenities. We would definitely book this again!

8 of us adults stayed here. The house was great for us all, the dock was awesome! We spent 90% of the day swimming, kayaking, and floating around! Would definitely rent this house again. It had everything thing we needed in the kitchen for grilling and making our food for 3 days. We did bring our own condiment stuff, as each guests has to empty the fridge when leaving. The house had 2 adult kayaks and we brought 2 also so us 4 ladies could go the same time. We loved having the Lilly pad to hang onto in the water and get on also. The neighbors were all friendly down on the lake part also. Great house!

Not only is the house fully supplied and equipped with all you could need, the dock and water toys are phenomenal!! We had a great family vacation!

We had such a great time at the location! We chartered a boat for a day and it picked us up at the dock on the property! Everything was clean and very roomy. The neighbors were chill and we had an amazing time!

My family traveled with our 2 children (7 and 5) and our friends with their children. We had a great stay with lots of boating and relaxing. The house was gorgeous and we felt right at home. Allison was a wonderful host and she was easily accessible when we had any questions at all. The dock was amazing to float in and the cove is quiet. We will definitely be back!

Location was perfect and having our own boat slip made things so convenient. Host were very attentive and responded immediately to questions. Would highly recommend.

We've rented here twice now for spring break we couldn't be happier with it. It's a quiet, peacefull little cove. The kids love using the kayaks on the lake and the parents love watching them and just relaxing with a cup of coffee or glass of wine. We'll definitely be coming back. The kids are already asking when!

This house was great for our large family of 8! Plenty of space. Pictures and description were completely accurate. We went during off season so didn't get to do any lake activities but found plenty to do indoors. We had some issues with the water pressure and the owners were very prompt in their reply and offer to repair. This house was quite a ways away from the main area, lots of windy roads (which wasn't good for our 3 car sick family members), and very dark at night. Overall, we loved the placed!

Very comfortable house, responsive hosts

We had a wonderful weekend at Calm Water Cove. It was a perfect setup for our 3 families. The house exceeded our expectations and is very well managed / cared for. The extra touches (s’mores supplies especially) were lovely! Thank you for having us, we would love to return next year.

Perfectly quiet cove, as advertised. Easily accommodated 9 adults. We loved the open concept of the house and its decor. We enjoyed swimming and fishing off the dock, and all the water toys available. Thanks for opening your home for us and for allowing us to celebrate my mother’s 80’th birthday.

If I could buy a whole lake house decorated and all, indoor lay out, outdoor spaces, dock,etc, this would be it. Period. Amazing place, perfectly decorated, perfectly comfortable, and as hosts they really have everything at hand. We had so much fun, it's SO beautiful, loved having the kayaks and Lily pad. Don't hesitate BOOK IT!
