Location is fabulous. I would stay there again. Definitely needs new pillows. Those are paper thin. TV doesn’t work, no instructions to make it work. Had questions for property manager and responses were late and confusing. House is listed as not pet friendly. I inquired several times to bring my 6lb chihuahua, was told no but when I got there there is a card welcoming you to a pet friendly property. I signed waiver for golf cart, which we were unable to find in property. I’d stay again but for sure house needs a bit of love

Cute beach cottage was bigger than expected. It released a core memory when entering the front porch the knob was the same as the one on our old farmhouse, there is a certain aroma that accompanies a porch from this era and it did not disappoint. The AC is set a little high on the off days leaving the air stale without the fan circulating the air. The Home is well furnished from the kitchen to board games in the cabinet. The internet was sufficient for working remote. The beach is a quick walk down the road to a secluded little spot which never seemed too crowded and the park was a quick walk in the opposite direction.

A lovely, older restored home, close to the beach that provides a welcoming feel. Our stay was wonderful, and we would definitely stay again!

House was clean and well maintained. Walking distance to the beach in a lovely neighborhood. Lots of families with small kids and residents walking their dogs. Very safe.

We loved this charming little home. It was a great place to stay and enjoy the beach, parks, golfing and more. Lots of space for sleeping and fun little yard for playing.

This cottage was a delightful find, and is a cozy and comfortable getaway, very close to the Beach (which, sadly, has mostly eroded, but still beautiful to sit out at). Between the Beach, and the Park, 2 blocks away, the grandson was always entertained! The Kitchen was modern, and well stocked, the bathrooms were also modern, and all the bedrooms had comfortable beds, and upscale bedding, and towels.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and can't wait to come back!

The pictures did not accurately convey the age, condition, and space in the house. Floors creaked and the utensils in the kitchen were from the 1960s. Parking does not fit two vehicles unless there is creative spacing. Old and musty feel to the place.

We just spent a week at the Royal Retreat in Grand Beach. We loved it. Everything was as advertised. It was clean, organized, and everything worked. It was a short, pleasant walk to the beach and the swimming was exceptional. We have vacationed along Lake Michigan for 15+ years and I have never seen the water this clear and warm.
