The property was beautiful, the condo is the perfect size for a small family or couple. Has all the necessities and comfort of a home. There is an incredible indoor pool and hot tub, a large outdoor pool (that was a bit cold) and the 5th street beach and concession is a short walk or car ride away! The view of your back deck looks out at the harbor, the kids loved looking for fish every morning and the playground is a 3 min walk around the harbor. If you have kids sleeping on the pull-out sofa, plan to bring a foam cushion if you can.

We loved the location. It’s a short walk to a beautiful beach and beautiful pier. It’s also just a couple minute drive to downtown. It was our first stay in Manistee and we would definitely come back to the same area. It was such a nice surprise. We also love the fireplace. The outside lanai was very cute and lovely to have coffee or tea in the morning.
I’m not sure that the bed was a queen as advertised. I think it was a full-size.
We have stayed at so many rentals and I just felt like this one was lacking some TLC. I understand a property management company runs it instead of a person and that’s could be why it’s missing that kind of personal touch. Some examples are the WiFi is terrible, and there are no instructions for the tv, No racks for luggage, no Kleenex, dirty sponges (no clean sponges for the dishes). There’s a bunch of clocks, but none of them are set correctly. And the batteries are dead in them.
Again, these are all small things. We would definitely stay again. I just wanted to provide some suggestions.

This is a small condo but very clean and close to the indoor and outdoor pools. Great hot tub! Half a mile down the road is a Sandy beach on Lake Michigan! Very nice summer rental.

Great stay for our Michigan adventure - We ventured up to Leland (Fishtown), Frankfort, Arcadia and down to Ludington & Muskegon. We went to Traverse City for a day trip. We also hit Grand Haven, Holland and Saugatuk. Home base in Manistee was perfect. We enjoyed the downtown and the beautiful beach & sunsets. We will be back! Thank YOU!

Beautiful location. Lovely little condo. The trash was still in the can when we got there and the freezer had some residue on it which I was able to wipe out, but otherwise clean. Pillows all need to be replaced. They are worn out and smell a little. It would be helpful to put some sheer covering over the top windows in the main room for those who sleep on the pull out bed. We enjoyed our stay.

This condo was the perfect space for our son, his wife and their infant. It was clean and comfortable with a spectacular view. This is the second time we have rented it and will absolutely do so in the future as well.

Property was perfect for my needs.
Temperature of hot water needs to be turned up. Could not take a decent bath. Water pressure was weak for a shower. Suggest providing a map of property amenities - pool and hot tub.

Double check entry instructions before you leave home. Ask if television works correctly (if you are interested in the tv).

Beautiful views
Couldn't get any better for location and services. Two downfalls. We were looking forward to the indoor pool, which had to close for a maintenance issue. The stove did not function, burners would shut off while trying to cook, and the oven was too small to cook in.

Mini Fall Vacation
Condo was nicely decorated, clean and comfortable and well stocked with towels and had everything you needed in the kitchen. The amenities of the pool and spa was extra nice since it was off season and we basically had the place to our selves. Most likely due to the time of the year but the outside entrance and deck could use some cleaning attention. Overall our stay was wonderful and will plan on returning to the area as it was beautiful.

This property was great but the fees we incurred by booking through VRBO really put a damper on our stay. Once I booked on VRBO it became apparent that I could book for cheaper going directly to the broker. c21boardwalkrentals dot com

Beautiful area close to the beach
Stayed a few nights with two children in early October. The condo was very nice and clean, and the community was very enjoyable. The kids loved the nearby indoor pool and the hot tub was so relaxing. The proximity to Fifth Avenue Beach was especially amazing, and it’s a great spot to catch the sunset. This is a perfect location from which to explore Manistee and the surrounding cities.

Four days away.
Very nice ; view of harbor, location relative to Lake Michigan, beach, downtown, Casino and Lake Michigan rec Area (Nordhouse Dunes).
Other comments: Was not notified of change in TV from cable to Smart. Do not have any streaming apps at home. Not able to watch local news or sports.
Couch and chair were very uncomfortable.
Both of these very minor irrations, but you asked.

Review of stay
Whole experience of the stay was very positive. Only feedback I would give is optional features of being able to do our laundry would be nice add. Room darkening shades were nice in bedroom.. in living room with pull out couch, would be nice to make room darker in the morning to sleep a little better. But other than these very small requests… loved the stay and location.

Clean & Cozy
The property was exactly as pictured. Everything was perfect except the queen bed in the bedroom was uncomfortable. I would love to return and recommend to friends when the bed is replaced.

Great stay and lovely location
We love Harbor Village! The property was nice, clean and quiet. We love utilizing the pools, harbor and the beach. Kitchen was well stocked. I would not recommend it as a place that comfortably sleeps 4 people. My husband and I and two teens had two that ended up sleeping on the floor because the pull out was small and really uncomfortable. The bed could also use a new mattress.

This is within walking distance to the beach. The downtown area is walkable, but it’s a long walk. My only dislike is that could only find one kitchen towel. Otherwise, no complaints.

Beautiful view of the marina with sun filled great room.
Well appointed and beautifully maintained. Very convenient to the beach and lighthouse. The fire in the fireplace and southern exposure with a view of the water was perfect and uplifting on a winter day. Definitely would rent again and again.

Absolutely the Perfect Little Place!
We totally enjoyed our stay in this condo. This location, view, and accommodation were perfect. The condo was exactly what we had hoped for.
This was the first time in renting a place using VRBO and it was a great experience. I would highly recommend this website.
So many great things to do in the Manistee-area. Boating, kayaking, caneoing, and just walking on the beach.
Restaurants around the area are great as well.
We look forward to returning someday to Manistee, and it's nice to know the perfect place to stay.

Great Condo - Modern, Comfortable, and Clean
We left the kids with the grandparents, and came to Manistee for a long relaxing holiday weekend. The condo was really clean and looks just as it does in the pictures. The beach is a short walk away, perfect for enjoying the sunset over Lake Michigan. The view was excellent as well, I loved the view of the marina right outside. Sitting on the patio with my morning coffee (or a glass of wine at night) and reading or just relaxing was one of my favorite things to do. I couldn't think of any other amenities we would have wanted. The wifi was free and blazing fast, and there are a lot of movies and games in the entertainment center. The indoor pool and hot tub were just a building over, and both were large and clean. We didn't have any issues with noise either, I know we had neighbors, but didn't hear anything inside the condo. I highly recommend staying here if you're visiting Manistee!
