I cannot rave enough about this hotel. It is a rare gem! I would go back here again and again. Set in the old part of the town, it was never destroyed in the war, it is beyond beautiful. I didn't have enough time to explore the town but I would recommend this hotel most definitely. It is clean, perfectly position, decorated very tastefully, and the breakfast is beyond amazing! I would score this place 11/10 and more!

We had the suite, which is spacious and very tastefully designed. Lovely building in perfect location for sightseeing. Breakfast was delicious and the staff was helpful and friendly.

Parking is a little convoluted.

Beautiful rooms in a great location. Breakfast was also great, with vegan options. We were drinking a smoked beer within a five minute walk!

The nearest parking was quite far, though they did warn us about that well in advance.

Design of the xhower is poor, requires many towels during and after taking a xhower. Lift is slow, chronic, and room was chilly with seemingly no adjustment possible on the preset aircon settings,, for the price diner could have been included.

Location and services were great. Bed was comfortable, breakfast was good. Beautiful building inside.

It was mid summer and the room was really hot. There was no AC. There was a decent fan but it was too hot for the fan to make a difference unfortunately.

It was a little noisy from the street noise at night and although there was a fan which we appreciated it was still hot at night.

This is a wonderful small hotel in the heart of Bamberg, in walking distance to all the major sights of this beautiful and historic town. We had a suite with high ceilings and an old wooden floor. Breakfast is being served in the courtyard. Many restaurants are minutes away. The staff was very helpful and friendly. If we return to Bamberg, we will be back.

The reception is only open in the morning and afternoon, which makes check-in and -out a little tricky.
