We had an excellent time at this spacious home and fully stocked kitchen. We enjoyed the pool on site and having the access to the river on the property. Thanks for making our 2024 Family Vacation a success.

6 families with total of 7 kids (ages11-14) and 8 adults. The house is nice and big, the pool was great, and lots of room for kids to run around. The owner was very responsive before the trip and during. Overall we had a great time.
Future renters might want to know that the lower level is the basement. Redone and decorated (with great a/c) but no windows in most rooms.

It was absolutely perfect for the 13 of us. The layout of the house was great. Everything was clean and well maintained. The outdoor space was amazing! It was such a peaceful place. We enjoyed our coffee on the front porch, swimming in the heated pool, grilling out, & sitting at the fire pit roasting marshmallows. But the highlight was definitely that river in the backyard! Not only was the view breathtaking, but the fishing hooked everyone. We found ourselves down there multiple times a day. The pool table, movie room and card tables were added bonuses. This is where you want to stay to reconnect with your family. We all stayed so busy interacting with each other that we were barely even on our phones. We would definitely stay here again!

Everyone had plenty of room to spread out. The pool table was a hit and because it was in a separate building it didn't disturb the "older ones". The beds were very comfortable. The house needs some gutter repair.

Enough room, no one felt crowded. Pool was fantastic, got to play in the river too. Loved the entertainment area, big garage door so everyone was included. Enough firewood for the the entertainment area and fire pit out back. We wish we could stay there again

This property was wonderful for our group of 13. Plenty of room for everyone. The guy's in our group really enjoyed the game room, movie theater and the fishing. Brian & Sara were very easy to work with. Even when I was having issues finalizing the rental they were very patient with me an worked with me through the issue. I would definitely rent this property again in the future. if you have a large group I recommend this property.

We had such a lovely time here! My family gets together for an annual Thanksgiving/Christmas weekend since it’s so hard to get together during the actual holidays with kids and not living super close to each other. This was perfect for our large family, 5 individual families with kids ranging from 2-16 at the time. The setting is lovely, right on the river, and the kids were obsessed with the movie room and pool table. Everything was clean and inviting, and we just had the best time being together! The hosts were also amazing, answering some questions I had before we left with extreme promptness and courtesy, and it definitely felt as if I could reach out if we needed anything at all. Highly recommend!

It was about 14 of us and we had a great time. The owners were very responsive. The Internet in the Theater area was a little lagging for our viewing of the SUPERBOWL, but we used our own hotspot! Problem solved!! We definitely plan to return!

We enjoyed our stay over New Years with a group of friends kids aged 3-16. There is something for everyone to do on the property, even during the winter. The house is spacious and we had plenty of room to spread out, and the bedrooms/bathrooms were all nicely done and comfortable. We particularly appreciated the adequate seating for everyone for meals between the two seating areas. The location is secluded, and the river was scenic. Neighbors were nice and adjoining properties were well kept.

Each year we choose a place for our family of three generations to vacation together.This house and riverfront property certainly met our expectations. The eight kids who ranged in age from 7 to 15 all had a wonderful time from swimming in the pool, to watching a movie in the movie theater room, to playing by and in the river. The house was well equipped and it was easy to communicate with the house management.

This was a family gathering and included my 80, 82 year old in-laws. We enjoyed the pool table, the diningroom table and the riverfront. We needed more than one knife for food prep. I would have appreciated liquid dish soap and a sponge or dish cloth. A few towel racks were broken, the blue chairs were broken but hard to see and I think I yelled as my 82 year old father-in-law was about to sit in one. The A/C in the pool house broke and we really needed some sort of bath mat. My mother-in-law was uncomfortable getting out of the shower without a rug. The riverfront is amazing but the backyard is full of holes - beware.

For many years our summer family get together has been at a beach house. This year we decided to do something different. This house was perfect. It was large, with plenty of space for everyone. Besides being able to book for less than a full week, major pluses were, river access for kayaking and tubing. Kayaks and tubes provided at the property. Plenty of bathrooms, the place was modern and clean. 2 coffee pots allowed for plenty of brew in the morning. Two large dining tables allowed everyone to sit and enjoy our meals together. The fire pit by the garage, separate game room and gathering space was also a nice plus. The best comment we can give is that we are already planning our trip back for next summer. See you then.

We loved the location so close to the river and other attractions! Between pool, hot tub, fishing and kayaking, fire pit and fireplace, and catching lightning bugs and frogs and playing outdoor games in the front and back yards, we were always having fun! Not to mention the pool tournament and movie room! Our kids and adults all had a blast! Beautifully furnished and lots of room for all 17 of us! We could have used another refrigerator in the kitchen and more hooks for hanging wet towels. Otherwise had everything we needed! Hope to come back someday and will recommend to our friends and family!

An ideal house for our married couple's retreat! Plenty of bedrooms & bathrooms to accommodate 9 couples. Kitchen is spacious; 2 ovens and large counter space made it easy to prepare meals. Large dining areas provided lots of seating options, and living room provided space for us all to meet. Loved playing games around the table and playing pool in the game room!
The kitchen pots, pans, silverware, and glasses could be better stocked, but otherwise all had a wonderful weekend!

We like to do a mini family reunion for Thanksgiving every year with 20 of us this property was amazing. There is so much room to spread out and have fun in smaller groups but also the main area is huge for the family meals. Amazing amount of things to do for all ages on the property. We will be back.

We have 23 family members, living in 3 different states. We stayed at the house for a long weekend and had an early holiday celebration. Everyone had a wonderful time! There are great amenities like the hot tub, sauna, pool table, massage chair and movie room. We had plenty of room and lots to do. Looking forward to going back to this property again in the future!

I needed a place that could host several family and friends for the celebration of life weekend planned for my husband who passed away in July. Your house size, number of bedrooms and bathrooms fit the bill plus you allowed dogs.

Awesome place... we loved the and gamers. gameroom. Kitchen was perfect size and lots of table space for games. River was just perfect for fishing and kayaking. Massage chair was a hit! Overall great place and great time.

Great spacious property with lots of room to spread out. Awesome detached pool/movie room. Located on a private road with ample wildlife and farm animals. Very friendly cat on site. 30-60 mins from most attractions. Wifi speeds are very slow. Plumbing issues. Overall a decent property for the price.

Nice place
Needs maintenance. No internet, Dish didn’t work for tvs.,heater for pool wasn’t working, we had to repair kitchen cabinet door, freezer in kitchen wasn’t working, hot water tank leaked through to bedroom downstairs and we couldn’t use that bed. house was great for large group ! Theatre room was useless without reception. Grill was not clean enough to use. We enjoyed the river! There is a cat that hangs around in case anyone is allergic .

Family togetherness
We enjoyed our time here. There are lots of great amenities at the house, so a rainy day was not distressing! Close to Shenandoah National Park. We had a great time hiking and star gazing! Highly recommend for a large group! There was plenty of room for our group of 16 and the house was very clean.

2022 Luray cousins trip
We had a great weekend at Paddlers Paradise.
House was spacious and well appointed. There are a ton of bedrooms so enough space for everyone to be comfortable. All the rooms had really great mattresses too. .We had a blast fishing in the river and hanging out by the pool.
Would definitely recommend this house for group retreat or family gathering.

Overall my family had a great experience. The house is beautiful and spacious. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. We will definitely return, it's so worth it. The area is a little secluded so wifi may not work. Thanks for having us!

Family Fun in Shenandoah Virginia
The house can accommodate many more people than our family of 9 but we wanted the space and number of bathrooms it provided. The house was immaculate. The kitchen was well supplied and even had a crock pot! Plenty of bathroom towels & linens provided. Loved the fire pits, one by the river and one closer to the house. The owners told us we could use the wood. The TV connection not good but did not need to watch anything. Our stay was great and very easy to communicate with the owners Brian and Sara Wilfong.

Awesome Space
After 2 years in a pandemic my family was able to gather for 4 day weekend celebration for my mom’s 80th birthday. This property served every purpose and the space was awesome. The scenery afforded us the opportunity for some great family pictures. The house was well stocked with linens and kitchen supplies. We were very pleased with this getaway .

Not everything as expected
House interior is great. Location privacy was ok. Access to river a bit challenging. Saturday noise from Speedway too loud to enjoy time at river. Pool heater not working. Gazebo screen door was broken. TV buffering many times with unclear picture.
