The house, while adequate for our family reunion (3 couples and 2 adult singles), could use some updating: perhaps newer living room furniture and new bedsheets for some of the beds. The bedroom that adjoins the laundry room could use a clothing rack since there is no closet. That said, we spent most of our time outside on the spacious patio and in or around the pool. The giant retractable patio awning provided shade and rain cover. In early March it was chilly in the evenings and we were grateful for the fire pit and ate most of our meals under the heated area of the patio. The coffee bean grinder was a bit of an operational mystery. Steve (the owner’s rep) was quick to bring over another grinder to ensure everyone’s caffeination. We really enjoyed our family time at 17 Palms.

Perfect for our family, with adult children and grandchildren. Close to airport, grocery and both venues for my brother’s wedding festivities. Really appreciated the wide gravel walking path along the Taquitz Canton wash. Lovely morning walks. Kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Nice size backyard. The attached ‘casita, for the baby and parent were perfect for their privacy.

Had a great experience. The house is quite large and the yard and pool area gorgeous. The fire pit was a perfect hang out area. The grill was massive and worked amazingly. Would recommend this property.

We loved this place so much, and the property managers were incredibly responsive. Would absolutely stay again!

Warm water awaits you 24hrs and I loved swimming in the sun in the mornings. Hummingbirds, songbirds and butterflies visit the backyard where the firepit allows for long evenings outside. Love it!!

This home was everything we could've asked for - great location close to the airport (10 mins to Palm Springs Airport) and downtown, plenty of space for 10 people, and a beautiful pool to beat the 110+ degree weather with abundant outdoor seating. The property managers were friendly and easy to work with as well, preparing us for the trip ahead of time with house guidelines and paperwork that we needed to sign. However, we did have a termite problem when we were at the house, leaving one out of the five bedrooms unusable. These termites flew and were over the bed, inside the suitcases, and rendered this bedroom unusable, which was unfortunate given how much we were looking forward to this being a true vacation. To their credit, when we alerted the property managers about this issue, they were quick to respond and come over. They offered to purchase bug spray on our behalf and provided us with a 5% discount for our stay. Although this was a nice gesture, it would have been preferable if we had been warned about the termite issue before our visit as it did severely impact the comfort and enjoyment of the house.
