Good location and very comfortable.

Would have liked a walk in shower rather than an over bath one but did not spoil the trip. Description of the property stated that the owner would meet us at the property with the key. There was in fact a key safe which we only found out about after waiting outside the property for an hour and then phoning the agent. Thankfully the agent was available.

The location was ideal for us. The house suited us very well and was comfortable.

The key safe is in a very awkward position to open particularly in the dark and the rain. Almost inaccessible The garden really needed attention. It was a mess. No Christmas decorations to cheer up the house for our stay over the Christmas period.

Location was good, good Wi-Fi, property could be a cracker but has some serious issues

Grubby and unclean, broken furniture, smell of damp, slug trails on kitchen chair and carpet, paint peeling off in bathroom, dirty knickers and socks left under chest of drawers in main bedroom, marks and cobwebs in most rooms. TV not usable in main bedroom as no plug sockets. Needs a good clean and refurb

No welcome pack; we had no idea how to turn on wifi or get sky etx to work. (We did in the end) No corkscrew. Boiler had been turned off only cold water. (Husband managed to turn it on) No bath mat, husband slipped in shower. Banisters almost came off wall - bit of a worry in a narrow Victorian staircase. There’s a huge mirror that only leaned against the wall. If that falls onto a child, it would probably kill it. Someone needs to do a more thorough RA.

Really well stocked house with all linen provided, food and spices to use in the cupboard, all cookware needed.
