Raj, the owner was very easy to deal with. He was accomodating and made several personal efforts to help us get around and help with projects that could easily have taken hours for a new foreigner to complete. The whole family was friendly and shared needed.kitchen space and appliances freely. I will definitely stay here when I return to KTM in 6 months. Namaste. Jordan from Meherabad

The only problem I had was trying cook and prepare a meal in an incomplete kitchen. A few more ss pots and pans would help. A decent wood cutting board, a few sharp knives, and more variety of plates and bowls would make a big difference. The bathroom mirror was dirty and never cleaned during my 10 day stay. No big deal but easy to just give it a wipe everyday.

Lovely place with lovely people. I extended twice here because I felt very comfortable. The owner is super friendly and helpful. He invited me for tea at his home and even brought me (very early in the morning) all the way to the jeep station on his bike, when I left Kathmandu. Totally recommended. Most friendly owner I met in Nepal!!

Everything you can expect was perfect. The host is incredibly nice and kind. The place is clean and tidy, there’s even a kitchen in case you need it. The location was perfect to me, a lovely district escaping the noisy, crowdy and polluted city centre, surrounded by mountains.

My bathroom needed a basin and a mirror. Raj said he'd correct it soon.

There was a different name as on Booking and first google maps showed a different location near Monkey Temple in Kathmandu, but the real adress was in Thamel. Whit help of the host we arrived safely at the adress.

Good hotel for solo travellers.

The address is quite complicated.

Beds are really good: the mattress, pillows, and comforter were good quality. The room is nicely decorated. Dipa is very friendly.

There are cockroaches in the room. The sheets are disgustingly dirty. During my second night, I saw a cockroach on the bed, I killed it. I went to bed and felt something walking on my head, I turned on the light, and there was another big cockroach. I was terrified. It was 3am. I checked the sheets (I hadn't before) and they were dirty, they had strains, and either ketchup or blood marks. I guess this is why cockroaches were climbing on the bed, sheets were dirty. I called Dipa (the person in charge) and asked her for some raid or spray to kill cockroaches and she came with air refresher. Her solution was for me to sleep with the light on because, according to her "cockroaches don't walk if the lights are on". I said I was not going to do that and she finally gave me another room. The bathroom was also dirty and had some used toiled paper when I got the room. It seemed like someone used the bathroom, and they didn't clean it up before my arrival. It was the worst night. You definitely get what you pay for.

A very peaceful place away from the crowded areas of Kathmandu. The bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in in a long time. The family that runs the place is really nice and helpful. I’ll definitely would stay here again if I’m in Kathmandu
