We had a great visit over the 4th of July weekend exploring Sister Lakes. The location of this cute place was a perfect fit for our family with everything needed, made more enjoyable with beautiful weather. It was our first trip to this area and the convenience of the location and helpfulness of the host will entice us to return.

We stayed in cabin 1, the loft was a bit too dicey for us to even use. The outdoor furniture had many cracks and were not comfortable. The swimming area was very disappointing as there was no place to let our grandson play in the water. We have loved this area for years but not being able to swim was a big disappointment.

Small unique place with a lot of charm. Enjoyed myself with my adult daughter alone time. Meet some lovely people's around the fire pit. Will be back soon.

This was the perfect spot to get away. My wife and I spend a weekend every year at a little cabin where we review our marriage and refocus. We always like to explore the area and Dowagiac was a gem of an area to go. Sage was our contact and he checked on us multiple times. We had one issue with our bed and he was not only prompt but he made sure to make it right. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a quiet getaway.

We enjoyed our stay very much. So much better than staying in a noisy hotel. Cute, comfortable and affordable. We will be back. ☺️

Very cozy and romantic getaway! Beautiful little cabin within walking distance of a great local bar/restaurant (Dan’s Dockside Bar/Grill) and two local breweries. (The Strand and Sister Lakes) Every thing we needed for a great and comfortable weekend.

This quaint little cottage has everything I needed and was clean and cozy! I loved it, and now that my son leaves near by, I’ll stay here again!

Cabin was small but surprisingly roomy and comfortable, with lake access and an easy walk to the ice cream shop.

This was the perfect little getaway location for my husband and I. Location was great and we loved having the private patio and fire pit!

Quaint & clean. Easy access to lakes. Recommend for older kids. Think it would be difficult with toddlers. Convenient, short getaway with planned outdoor activities.

Cabin has everything needed. Nice and quiet . First experience at this place and would definitely return in the future!

Check in was easy and the cabin was nice. It had the necessities for cooking and relaxing. It could us some blinds over the door window.
The location was great for kayaking and sight seeing. A few restaurants are within walking distance and Lake Michigan is a short drive.
We would stay here again but I’m not sure where I’d park our boat if we brought it.

I was working in the area and sick of the hotel scene. Thoroughly enjoyed the Sister Lakes location. Even a couple good restaurants within 2 minutes. Would absolutely stay again!

Had a great time celebrating Christmas at this cozy cabin. Had mostly everything we needed for cooking dinner and was able to comfortably fit 6 people.

This cottage is so perfect for a sweet little getaway! It is cozy, close to beautiful lakes and scenery. It is just about a 20min drive from St. Joseph, with lots of cute spots on the way.

Once we gained access. . .
We arrived to the property at 10:45 pm. The code we were provided did not work to open the lock. It took us until 11:30 pm to contact the owner and get another code that would finally work to get us access to the property.

We typically rent in northern Michigan but found this wonderful cabin just a couple hours from our home in North-Central Illinois. Very clean, well kept and very reasonable rental in a cozy little town with a northern Michigan feel. Everything about this cabin was sooo cute! We can only hope that we get a shot at this rental next summer! Thank you Chris!

Just Perfect!
We typically rent in northern Michigan but found this wonderful cabin just a couple hours from our home in North-Central Illinois. Very clean, well kept and very reasonable rental in a cozy little town with a northern Michigan feel. Everything about this cabin was sooo cute!
