Beautiful and unique rooms. Lovely art on display. A wonderful sitting area outside. Our hosts were very charismatic and informative.

Terry and Lynne were just such lovely hosts, so friendly and helpful. The amount of space we had was amazing compared to other places we have stayed. The cleanliness was second to none I could not fault anything at all.

The host and hostess are the nicest people. Very warm and friendly and eager to share recommendations. The bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. The pillows were soft and squishy like back home. Bathroom was large and lovely.  breakfast is plentiful and you can select which ever options you would like to have. 
Guests should know there is no elevator. The host was very willing to carry suitcase upstairs, but still, I would like to know that before booking the property.

Our room was excellent. Lots of electrical sockets with usb ports in just the right place. Tea and coffee available too.

I recently stayed at The Hill Hotel and I must say, it was a truly delightful experience. From the moment I checked in to the moment I checked out, the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and accommodating. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay.
Overall, I would highly recommend The Hill Hotel to anyone looking for a welcoming and cozy stay.

It was excellent overall. The addition of another chair into the room rather than a small stool would have made it more comfortable for watching tv.

Friendly , welcoming staff. Breakfast was delicious and well presented.
Decor a bit dated, but comfortable. Shower needing attention as it took a while to regulate temperature and water flow came and went.

Everything was lush. Friendly staff, good size room, breakfast was good section. Bar on site, great customer service, plenty of on-site parking, close to town centre

Friendly family hotel, with good size rooms and plenty of parking. Note that if you're on a motorcycle, the car park is very steep, but there is a dedicated area at the top, to the right of the hotel.

I liked everything. The room, food, staff and facilities were all first class. This was my second visit to the hotel this year and the standards have remained exceptionally high.
There's nothing not to like here.

Breakfast was excellent, good choices, lovely dining room, friendly staff, owners took time out to have a chat with us. Free car parking was a bonus

Great host, Terry is a biker himself and we had quite some stories to share with each other. Wonderful breakfast, quiet rooms and a bar to share biker stories :-)

The hotel is very central. It is absolutely spotless clean and the owners couldn't do enough for you. The breakfast will set you up for the day. I could highly recommend this homely hotel
