My family and I had a wonderful, relaxing week at this well appointed cottage. The views of the lake and sunsets are spectacular, and the house is located in a great area. Enjoyed hiking and biking the nearby trails and routes. Cottage has a well stocked kitchen for cooking and is very clean. Would definitely rent again in the future.

What a beautiful, cozy home in an ideal setting. The view is stunning! My family gathered here from various parts of the country to celebrate Christmas. There was even a little Christmas tree for our presents. The hosts are wonderful! Might be making plans to go back in a different season.

We stayed at the lake house over the Thanksgiving holiday, and we are so grateful for the get away. The house had an amazing view that cannot be beat. It was clean upon arrival and the checkout process was simple.
The house is in a great location and close to many activities (hikes, the Dells, and great restaurants)
We will definitely be back, as we would love to see the area during the summer!

Stunning views/ sunsets! Clean property with comfortable accommodations! Close to the ferry- excellent opportunity to explore both sides of the lake! Quiet/ serene and enjoyed the birdwatching too! Spacious kitchen and patio! Enjoyed our stay, thank you!

My husband, our 16 year old daughter, my mother-in-law, and I all stayed here for 4 nights and had a great time!
The view of the lake is spectacular and the house is up a little on a hill, so it’s a little more private than some other places around the lake. We appreciated having a dining table outside to relax and enjoy the views, but it was awesome to be able to sit inside on the couch and enjoy the views too!
Everything was very clean and comfortable.
In case you miss it in the listing - make sure to bring your own toiletries (shampoo/conditioner/body wash) and seasonings (only salt and pepper are provided).
The host was responsive and very understanding (I accidentally broke one glass)!
I would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful, clean house. We loved that the owners thought of everything and created a really organized binder to answer all questions. There is not a lot to do in the area, but we enjoyed driving to Devils Lake and Wisconsin Dells.

The home has a quality renovation and was clean. We had everything we needed at the home and the view is amazing! The location was great, tucked away for privacy but close enough to many things to do. I can’t say enough good things about our stay!

Our family needed a peaceful place to crash after long days of hiking. This house fit perfectly. The host was friendly and responsive. The house had everything we needed to unwind and rest: comfortable beds, furnished kitchen, and a relaxing outdoor space. I would strongly recommend this house as a base camp if your family is adventuring in the Devil's Lake region.

This was a great property with an amazing view and open floor plan to relax with friends. We opened a bottle of wine and watched the Oscars while snacking at the open island in the kitchen. A great getaway!

Great lake-view cottage that is easy to feel at home in. Comfortable, clean, and close enough to several fun things but still secluded enough for some peace & quiet. Love the fact you can get here in under 3 hours from Chicago. Nice property.

We loved this house from the first! The driveway up to the house was great. When we walked in we noticed how clean the whole house was and the view from the many (clean) windows was spectacular.
Mitch and Kelsey thought of everything. There was no clutter, all surfaces were clean, furniture and beds were comfortable. Kitchen and bathrooms were completely stocked with all items needed. We have stayed in rentals in/near Lodi for years and this was by far the best. We hope to come up again next year. (Also their info packet was full of fun, interesting, and useful items).

This rental looked exactly like the photos online. Very clean and well maintained. Great location to hike & enjoy the fall scenery around Merrimack, Baraboo, Devils Lake & Wollersheim Winery. Thank you for your hospitality. We would rent again 💕

We just completed a four nite stay at this beautiful lake house. Wonderful property with a great host/owner. House was very clean, comfortable and exactly as listed. Nice lot with plenty of room for privacy. Breath taking views of sunsets over Lake Wisconsin. The home had everything you need. Only suggestion would be to add desk/reading lamps to the queen bedrooms. Other than that, the owner provides everything you need for a perfect getaway. Plenty of bars and restaurants are within a mile drive. The ferry is wonderful and a fun ride for kids. Hiking, boating, state parks are all within a 30 minute drive. Overall, I cannot say enough about this lake house. Highly recommend! We will definitely be back!

Property was very clean and we are super picky about this. Nice bedroom set up for 3 big kids and 2 parents. Loved the view. They thought of the little details like nightlights. Only thing to note is there is no dishwasher (we just didn't think to look for that in the description-our fault). Plan extra time to hand wash and sanitize dishes at the end of your visit (or pack paper!) Need to update the welcome basket.

Wonderful newly renovated property with large kitchen and open concept. Beautiful views of Lake Wisconsin, including sunsets. Outdoor patio perfect for family dinners! The 3 bedrooms worked perfectly for our extended family.

This property was a great find for our group 5 adults and 1 toddler. The house size and layout was excellent - view from kitchen and family room of Lake/River was beautiful. Very clean and well organized. The collection of toys for a toddler was perfect (indoor toys, outdoor water table and sandbox with toys); plus we used the patio, firepit and grill. Used the blowup kayaks at the boat landing nearby to get into the bay. Nearby we visited Devils Lake (we swam, kayaked, paddle boarded), the train ride at New Freedom, Merrimac Ferry crossing rides, splashpad in Sauk City, Olbrich Gardens in Madison.

Perfect house for our needs
The house was so nice. Beautiful view and clean. My only draw back was the queen bed in the kids room was uncomfortable...with 2 people in the bed, we would constantly end up rolling into the center of the bed...otherwise..no issues...would definitely like to stay here again.

Nice place
Very cute, clean renovated cottage. Beautiful kitchen. Overall, the house met our needs for a short stay. The one critique I would offer is that the Living room layout should be changed. It seats five but because of the placement of the armchairs and sofa it's difficult to have a group conversation or share a movie. There are also no end tables or coffee table near the sofa to set a drink down. These are all things that can easily be fixed.

House was very clean and well organized. We liked the location. Close to lake , restaurants , but at the same time very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the great views of the lake with our morning coffee and loved to watch the sunsets.
I recommend this place if you would like to get away and unwind.
