Ben and his family are fantastic!! We got to the area a couple hours early and they were accommodating with getting us access to the home. The house is beautiful, it is extremely clean and well maintained, and there was plenty of space for our group of 13! The dock is spacious and allows for easy access to the lake for swimming, fishing, and other water activities! We would love to stay at this house again in the future, highly recommend!

This is a wonderful house, five comfortable bedrooms right on the lake. We enjoyed the hot tub and dock as well, the hot tub will comfortably fit four adults. The house had a high chair and a few other things helpful with the younger members of our group. We loved it!

Hold process went smoothly. Some family members complained about lack of TV in bedrooms. There was also leftover food in refrigerator. Overall great place and would recommend to others.

My family, my parents, and my brothers family stayed and we loved the house and location. Beautiful setting. Well stocked kitchen and house. The hot tub needs some maintenance but otherwise we have no complaints. You won’t regret your stay!

We enjoyed a very pleasant stay . We were able to play outside as well as go on scenic hikes at the nearby state park. The property was clean and quiet and well taken care of. It was large enough for our family to visit and live together for the ten days we were there;) Definitely would be a great summer vacation. Host was very prompt in responding to any need we had. Thankful for such a time and place.

For starters, we arrived to the property about 15 minutes before check-in time, expecting to check out the dock and the lake while we waited for our 4pm check-in time; instead, we were greeted by Ben (one of the owners) who immediately started apologizing because they were there and just finishing cleaning. Now get this.....their regular cleaning person had a last minute Covid-related emergency and could not come clean the place for our arrival. Instead of the owners canceling on us and/or delaying our check-in (yes, this DOES happen), Ben and his wife flew in from out of town and his parents drove from Salt Lake City to get the place cleaned and prepared for us.....who does that!?!?! Not to mention the house and grounds were immaculate! I had the opportunity to meet all of them and they are the most lovely family! Next up - THE PICTURES DO NOT DO THIS RENTAL JUSTICE! Honestly, I'd say it is easily the nicest home on the cove (which, by the way, staying on a cove in LOA is the only way I'd go now that I've been there). Each room is light, airy, comfortable and nicely appointed. There were 3 families, with a total of 13 of us staying there and we had so much space. The kitchen is massive! At one point I think all 13 of us were in there eating, cooking and baking and we weren't right on top of each other! The dock is like a rental of its own! It is so large and spacious. We spent a ton of time just hanging out fishing, swimming (nice warm, deep water for diving off the dock), having some beverages and floating around. Over the course of the week I did not hear one child utter "I'm bored" once! That's unheard of! Communication with the owners (Ben) was phenomenal. At one point we were looking for a hose to use so I messaged Ben. He apologized profusely that we did not have access to one and had one shipped to us from Amazon within a couple of days. These guys know customer service! This was our first trip to LOA and we're already talking about going back; when we do, The Family Jewel will be where we'll be staying! I could go on and on about this place, but you really just need to experience it for yourself. This rental/family may be new to the VRBO scene, but they are doing everything right! Do yourself a favor and book your stay at The Family Jewel!!

The house was awesome, besides all the steps…lol. The lake was wonderful and the cove was inviting. We had so much fun.

This is one of the best getaways we've ever had and I cannot say enough about the property, the property manager, and the location. The house was so big and so amazing that people were wowed every time they showed up. Plenty of space for everyone, great neighbors (we had a few drinks together), and access to water that was clean and quiet. If you're going to the lake...book this place ASAP!

The house worked out perfect for those who needed to work occasionally while others were relaxing. The dock area allowed us to store three boats, utilize the lake and enjoy waterfront seating in preparation to our outings on the water. This property was perfectly located for all of our needs during our stay. All communication with the owners was informational and detailed. We will defiantly be returning.
