Visited Catalina for a girls trip, and this house was exactly what we needed to rest and relax. We could not get over the view and the generosity of the hosts! The house was immaculate, plenty of room for all of us. Close to everything. An amazing experience!

A lovely place with a gorgeous view, and certainly very peaceful. The hot tub was pre-heated and relaxing. The drinks and snacks left in the kitchen for the guests is a nice welcoming touch. The view is better than any in-town restaurants so we walked the short switchback path just below the property in to town get takeout and eat on the deck outside. Great place!

My family from Hawaii and Japan was visiting (party of six) and The Scott's family had made this trip stress-free and amazing. We all enjoyed our time together, relaxed, ate good food, and enjoyed the view. The communication was superb.

Eagles nest was very clean with an amazing view. Walking distance to town in a very quiet neighborhood. Definitely would stay again.

We had an amazing time in Catalina and the crown jewel was this VRBO. The hosts were so easy to work with and the place had everything you need for a great stay. Looking forward to going back!

We truly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home! The view is incredible and the we spent a lot of time enjoying the deck and hot tub. We really appreciated the gas heater which allowed us to use the outdoor amenities even on cool November evenings. Kitchen is very well stocked and the entire home was clean and cozy. We look forward to visiting again!

This house has gorgeous views. It was extremely clean. The deck and hot tub are amazing! The host was so generous with providing amenities with the house and would message me back when I had questions. The host was extremely accommodating! The neighbors got a bit noisy but otherwise an impeccable stay!! Great for families. We really enjoyed ourselves. Would highly recommend!

The Eagle's Nest is the best rental property I have ever stayed at without a doubt. It is the best property on Catalina Island. I could not be happier anywhere else. The most obvious draw is the view, which is unparalleled. You can take in the entire cove from the enormous deck which also has a hot tub. So not only are you enjoying amazing views - you get to relax in a hot tub while you enjoy them?! If being outside isn't for you, the entire bay side of the hours has picture windows for you to enjoy from inside. The property is updated which is always appreciated. The house is very clean. Let's be honest, when using sites like VRBO, standards vary, so some properties can be appear less clean than others, and that is distracting. No one wants to clean while on vacation. I can tell you, Eagle's Nest is immaculate. Not only is the property clean and comfortable - it is well stocked! From coffee to soda to snacks - the hosts have thought of everything. I cannot say enough positive things about the Scotts, except to say, they are extremely friendly and easy to communicate with. The Scotts know how to host a property and it shows. They think of everything which just makes the vacation easy. If there is any thought in your mind about staying elsewhere - don't! This is the place to stay. Enjoy the island from the finest home (and hosts) in Catalina!

My wife and I have been coming to Avalon for over 15 years now and this unit was one of our favorite locations we have ever stayed at. The panoramic views from the patio deck are outstanding and you can still take the view in while enjoying the jacuzzi. The unit was clean, well stocked and even better it was clutter free which is important to my wife and I. The owners instructions for check in included a note that they would reimburse for a taxi which was very generous but we didn't take advantage of the offer m the ferry to the unit because we arrived so early in the morning compared to our check in time that we stopped and ate and shopped before heading to the unit. I would recommend taking a taxi to the unit if you have luggage as the units location is on a very steep street or walk up and get the golf cart that the owner provides for use while staying and come back and get your luggage. Overall a great location and unit and we hope to stay there again on our next trip.

This home was LOVELY. It is exactly as the pictures show....views, views, views. We couldn't get enough of just sitting on the large deck and enjoying the view and the weather. The hot tub was also wonderful. I especially appreciated how much quieter it was in this part of Avalon. All homes are close together on Avalon, and it can get quite busy and loud, but this felt like a 'locals only' type of neighborhood and we found that to be a great way to end the day. We got up early and went for long walks...the house is ideally located for that. We saw a deer just a few houses away that followed us for a while. The house is stocked for enjoyment. We were thrilled with the attention to detail they provided. The communication with the owners was perfect, and we felt like they truly were invested in our enjoying our vacation. We wanted for nothing...the house was perfect. If you are looking at this listing because of the pictures of the view, you WON'T be disappointed. It was breathtaking. I am very glad we ended up choosing this rental. I HIGHLY recommend it.

We were enchanted with this home, its view, and all of Catalina. This must be one of the best views in town, and we ended each day’s adventures soaking in the hot tub, taking it all in. Would definitely recommend.

First of all, the Scotts were proactive in making sure we were comfortable and are incredibly responsive. The home is in an excellent location. It’s very close to the shops and restaurants but on a hill so the view is amazing. There are stairs right by the house that go directly into town. It’s a 3-5 minute walk down, and a 5-10 minute walk up. Not bad at all. The house is cozy and comfortable, and the deck is amazing. The kitchen is well stocked and the beds are very comfortable. The grocery store is only a few blocks away, but it’s hilly so you should plan on taking a golf cart. We highly recommend staying here!

We absolutely loved our stay! The house was beautiful and the hosts were extremely responsive to any questions that we had prior to and during our trip. We have been visiting Catalina every year for the past 10 years and this property is superior! We can’t wait to come back and book this property again.

The property has great views and exact as listed. The Scott family is extremely generous and answered every questions we had during our stay including patiently walking me through the use of their golf cart which is a must have on the Island. Great home in a fabulous location.

My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary getaway and it was everything we had hoped for. The views were stunning, the hot tub was relaxing, location very quaint, and as comfortable as 4 star hotel. The Scott Family was always responsive and accommodating. Our biggest fear was not having a golf cart and being on top of the hill, but this was not a problem. House is a short 7-10min walk to Vons or Downtown, and even up the Lombard style steps, the walk up was manageable. Otherwise, we used taxis to get around easily. The beds are large and comfortable, and due to the size, it makes the room seem smaller, but that is fine for the extra comfort. I highly recommend this place and already have to friends and family for next season.

Best place to stay on the island. Beautiful views, and very well appointed. Had everything we needed and more. We felt like we were in a postcard.

Our family of 5 LOVED staying here for our annual family vacation. It was quiet, a short downhill walk to the grocery store & town. Everything was in working order, very clean and absolutely lovely. The owners were beyond kind & very responsive❤️ Best part of this rental… was everything!!! We would stay here again in a heart beat ❤️

This was a great family stay. First off the communication was above and beyond before and during the stay. I received responses within a few mins for any concerns or questions we had. Honestly I can’t say how much of a joy it is to receive quick responses when trying to make decisions about what is needed to bring etc. The house was very clean and the restrooms were beautiful. The hosts went above and beyond to accommodate us with complimentary snacks and drinks in the fridge which were a nice touch. Kitchen was fully stocked with utensils for cooking. Lots of avail room outside on the deck to enjoy the hot tub and eating outside with the beautiful view. Location was good still close enough to walk into town but far enough away that you can enjoy the seclusion. Definitely would recommend the house and the hosts just put it over the top!

We absolutely loved our stay! The view is amazing and even better from the hot tub. My kids loved golf carting down the hill and discovering the zig zag path which is the quickest way to vons and the best way to take back to he house from town. The house was well stocked as well and all the pictures are true to the unit. We will be back!
