We had a wonderful weekend at the Park Point Getaway! It was a convenient location and a beautiful property with plenty of room for us! Check in was so easy and Tom was great about communicating when there was a storm. Would definitely stay again!

My husband and I enjoyed a long weekend exploring Duluth and the north shore. We loved staying at Park Point! The location was great and easy access to everything we wanted to do and see in the area. It was exceptionally clean and we felt right at home. Would highly recommend!

The listing shows a picture of a full house as well as a title of "Park Point Getaway - Modern - New" in large letters. When we arrived it was a studio loft apartment without actual bedrooms, just 2 beds in the living room with a shower curtain separating the areas. I reread the small print on the listing and indeed the listing isn't technically wrong, it just grossly misrepresents what the property actually is. There shouldn't be a picture of an entire house if the actual rental is a studio loft, and somewhere in the bold large print headline the words "loft" and/or "studio" should appear.

Such a sweet and perfect place to stay while in town to celebrate our son's wedding! Handy to get to everywhere we needed to be and perfectly clean. Love the little touches; tiny ducks to find, chocolates, coffees, and teas in a bowl, etc.

Very clean and cute place. Walking distance to Canal Park and beaches of Lake Superior. Definitely recommend this pace!

This property was very clean, beds were very comfortable, towels were plentiful, furniture and decor was new and comfortable. There is no separate sleeping space except for a curtain that can be drawn between the 2 queen beds and bathroom and the living/dining/kitchen space. It worked for us very well and we plan to return.

Our visit to Duluth was enhanced with our choice of staying in this cute efficient unit. Near to all points of interest yet private and secure. A great benefit was the EV charger and a easy walk to the beach.

Very pleased with the stay

We wanted a place close to the lake and this is a short walking distance which is perfect. We also were not wanting to do a lot of running around, just wanted a quiet, clean and comfortable place to cook our own meals and hang out. It was perfect.

We really enjoyed our stay in Duluth! This unit was in a great location on the sand spit and the apartment was clean and outfitted with everything we needed.

It was a very nice spot. Updated and in a great location. This is a open concept property with no actual bedrooms. There is a kitchen that flows into a sitting area that flows into the area the beds are located. The beds were comfy.

Hosts were very accommodating and have this property perfectly stocked and ready for you. Close drive to Canal Park, but quiet setting to unwind. Can’t wait to come back! Thank you so much!

This was a perfect place for our family of 6. We appreciated the minimalistic style of the place as it made it quite a safe place for a 1 year old. It has a great location and is close to many fun family friendly places.

Excellent location, very clean and comfortable, beds were great, kitchen was very well stocked, beautiful back yard. My sisters and I walked several miles each day on the beach and through the neighborhood, and felt very safe.

Charming space. Good if you’re ok being close. Pick this for handy access to Duluth with a young family. Kitchen is lovely and well stocked.

You can tell the owners have experience in the hospitality industry as the apt has everything you need for a comfortable stay with the addition of perks such as coffee, water and a few snacks greeting you on arrival. The location is great, easy access to Canal Park but the peace and quiet of the beach. We enjoyed the pretty view from the back deck watching the boats on the water, and could hear the waves on Lake Superior at night. Excellent option for enjoying all that Duluth has to option and it was easy to hop on the highway and head to the North Shore.

My family of 5 (2 adults, kids aged 9, 9, and 12) really enjoyed our stay here! Much better than a standard hotel room for us. Reasonable amount of in-home amenities and space for us to dine in for some meals of our 2-day stay. We appreciated the provided toiletries as I forgot to pack shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The level 2 car charger worked great for fully charging our F150 Lightning overnight (we drove from the St. Paul suburbs). The only downside we found was the TV audio was not in sync with the picture. Location of this home was super convenient and my kids liked that we had to drive over the bridge every time we arrived or left.

I took some time to enjoy Duluth and the north shore in autumn. This was the perfect place to to do both. Quick access to to the scenic highway heading north and also to the restaurants and activities in Duluth. The upstairs apartment was clean and comfortable.

Lovely, quiet and super clean little apt. Easy access with a nice sitting area at top of stairs for an evening glass of wine to watch the inner harbor and boats. Would stay here again! Thank you Tom and Karleen.

Great place. Close to Canal park, close to the beach! Very clean, full kitchen…all good! We loved it!

I am not usually one to leave a review but I wanted to leave a few things on this darling little spot! First off our first impression of the little apartment above the owners house was very good. It was very clean, nicely decorated and very thought out as far as accommodations are concerned. Very updated, clean linens and up to date maintenance. We felt very at home and comfortable here. One con I would like to mention, we found out at check-in that there is not 2 bedrooms like the listing stated, there is a curtain separating the two queen beds from the rest of the apartment. We saw all the pictures but because we read that there was 2 bedrooms on the advertisement I assumed it was there and wasn't in the pictures. This would have not been a huge deal but since we have 5, 4, & 2 year old children, it made the space a little difficult to settle in. I am not reviewing this to complain, but just want to make others aware so they know it won't fit a young family if all sleeping in the same room isn't for you! This apartment is above the owners home which we also did not realize, but they are very polite and accommodating. The beach is very neat, just a block away, an easy walk, and a beautiful view! We enjoyed the Duluth area and was a memorable vacation for our family. Thanks again!

We stayed here so we could drop off both of our children at the university of minnesota de luce, which was a very emotional experience. This Was a nice place for the kids to bring back their friends for some snacks and get away from campus for a little bit. The place is very crisp and clean and just what we needed! Our hosts were very pleasant, recalled that we were there to drop our children off and left us with enough space to feel like we had our place to ourselves. We will definitely book our stay there again!

Our family of three stayed for an extended weekend in August, and it was a perfect spot for us. We felt very comfortable at the property and loved the walkable location with close access to the beach and Duluth downtown. It's a beautiful and thoughtfully appointed apartment with lovely hosts!

We loved our stay here! The attention to detail made it that much better traveling with young kids - room darkening shades, black out curtains, dimming main area lights, games, bath toys, etc. Very clean, quiet and beautiful gardens. Great location with so much to do and explore!

This was our fifth trip to Duluth this year. We love it. This VRBO was the perfect size for the four of us. It’s in the ideal location, near downtown and Canal Park with easy access to the beach. Even though it is located on a busy road, it was quiet. Not only was Tom and Karleen’s rental pristine, so was their landscaping. Mornings and evenings were spent on the small deck overlooking the vegetable and flower gardens, enjoying the breeze. The weather was perfect, which is always a bonus. We didn't want to leave and hope to come back!
