This was our 5th year at Lake Norman and this house has absolutely the best location. Great outside recreation with different sitting areas. Super fast response of the owners. We would be honored to come back next year.

We had a great family vacation at the lake. The house fit our needs perfectly. The large living room was great for the toddlers. We enjoyed eating our meals on the large closed in deck with the shade. Loved swinging down by the water. Boat dock was what we needed to tie off our pontoon. Quiet neighborhood and a quiet cove. Enjoyed Mountain Creek park to get in some pickle ball and the children to play. Thanks for answering all our questions quickly. Great vaca. Would stay here again.

College friends for 15 years and all got away for a girls weekend! We loved the house and utilized the lake to its fullest. The host was very responsive, and allowed us to check in early due to early flights. We loved it!!!

Overall a great stay despite the crazy winter weather of Christmas 2022. My only feedback is that some of the bedroom furniture could use an upgrade for future guests comfort. Alana was a great host and did everything she could to ensure we were able to have a safe family Christmas.

Layout of the house is great. Back bedroom area is perfect for kids/teens who like to hang out together. There is a spacious great room with a large screen tv - perfect for everyone to watch a sports game or movie together. The house is definitely old, but it was generally clean and comfortable. We encountered some spiders in the bedrooms and mold on the shower door in the hallway bathroom. The bed in the (nonmaster) bedroom was a bit small and uncomfortable, but it was tolerable for a few nights. The kitchen is small, but the seating was good for two families. We spent a lot of time playing cards or board games at the dining room table. For us, the best feature of this property is the backyard. BBQ area with table, firepit area with generous seating,.deck and kayaks, and space in the yard to throw a football or frisbee. Very serene and picturesque.

Great place to relax and hangout with lots of friends and family! Lots of room and way to entertain with lake, large fireplace, outside kitchen area and back deck!

Modest home, well-suited to smaller groups, outdoor space allows for excellent access to the lake on a quiet cove. Our larger group of avid cooks felt that the kitchen is best-suited to basic meal preparation. It is evident that this property is in the process of incremental upgrades that will allow it to maximize its future potential. Multiple kayaks for guest use was a big plus.

This is a great location, and our family wished we'd booked an extra night! We had too much fun. Kids loved jumping off the dock, parents loved the generous supply of life vests, and we all had fun taking out the kayak. The firepit is a gem with lots of great seating and even Bluetooth speakers for music! Owner was very responsive when messaged. We hope to come back again. Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay very much! We had 4 adults and 2 kids and had plenty of room. Nice amenities outside..kids and adults loved the kayaks and the beach area. Plenty to do within 25 mins from the house! Only thing we wish it had was accessible screens on windows and doors. We would have loved to have some fresh air or be able to hear the water rolling in during the evening hours. Alana was most helpful with any questions we asked. We lost power one night due to horrible storms and she kept us updated on the estimated time for it to return.

Easy rental process. Owner was easy to work with. Really enjoyed the backyard and kids loved the kayaks. Great family time with the kids!!!!!

The communication with Alana was excellent as I asked several questions prior to our arrival. The property is extremely peaceful and has multiple outdoor areas. We had use of several kayaks and life jackets. The fire pit was perfect. The property also is very shaded, so we ate outside the entire time. It was a really good week with our family. Thank you.

It was so peaceful and beautil! Waking up with such a great view of lake. We fished off dock and kayaked on lake. The deck, yard and home were cery spacious and a great place for large family gathering.

This would definitely be a great place to stay during nice weather. Attention was made to several entertaining areas throughout the outdoors. It looks like they are in a little need of some spring cleaning though. The new covered grill area with table and chairs was a great addition but was loaded with pollen and debris. The fire pit and swings were great. Inside, the spacious family room, dining area, and kitchen worked well for a large group. Sufficient silverware and dishes available. Might have been nice to have some plastic cups for kids to use instead of all glassware. The bunk room was great for the kids. Enough room in the driveway for all parking.

Our experience was great! Alana the host was so accommodating and responded quickly, I appreciate her well thought out home, made things very easy for us to feel welcome, would definitely recommend and the price was spot on.
