Great property, clean, modern, well stocked, near beach and pool

Beautiful and spacious property in the prestigious Palmas del Mar community. The property is beautiful and spacious just as you see in the pictures. Excellent location and great restaurants on site. Although the beach is just a few steps away, beachgoers should be careful with strong ocean currents. We spent the day in nearby beaches and came back in the afternoon to enjoy the beautiful warm pool just steps from the unit we were staying at. The sunrises and sunsets are just indescribable... nothing short of a postcard. The host was responsive and extremely courteous. Cannot wait to come back! 100 out of 5.

We had two families in total there were 10 of us, and we were very comfortable. It is a beautiful community close to our excursions to Yunque and Fajardo. Jennifer was a wonderful host and very attentive. There were also plenty of towels and everything you needed for a tropical vacation.

Hands down the best place I’ve rented from. You can tell that Jennifer truly care about your experience. Beautiful place with a wonderful view 🏝

I just completed a 6 day and 5 night vacation here with my 2 adult children (and their spouses) and 5 grandchildren. The unit was extremely comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. Jennifer, our host was always available and responded immediately if we had a question. I would highly recommend this unit if you plan on vacationing in PR or Palmas. The unit was clean and very comfortable for 11 adults and children.

The bedroom layout for our family was perfect. The views of the golf course and the ocean from the two balconies were amazing. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet and in a great location for a family vacation. you will definitely need a golf cart or car for food options. Was near a Wyndham hotel which came in handy during one of the island power outages.during our stay. Would recommend this place to a family going on a vacation with a budget but be prepared to fix meals in the condo as the neighboring restaurants did not have great food and were expensive. Best food was the Wyndham but the most expensive and the Mexican restaurant in Palmonova, least expensive. We ordered groceries for delivery and that worked out well. Host gave great information on surrounding stores, restaurants and car rental places. Be prepared Puerto Rico is not known for their restaurant food. So read reviews before picking places to eat. We will probably not be going back to Puerto Rico again but if we did we would have no problem staying in this quaint neighborhood.

We stayed at the condo with our family(2 adults, 1 child) and friend's family(1 adult, 2 children) for a short stay in late March. Booking was easy and Jennifer was very quick to answer all questions prior to arrival. She gave great recommendations of things to do/places to see/restaurants and stores. Check in was easy and the place was spacious, clean, and just as the pictures described. The children enjoyed the pool right next to the condo and the surf just steps from the door. We had some questions during the stay and Jennifer was quick to respond. Checkout was a breeze. So much so, Jennifer let us know that we forgot 2 pairs of shoes. She graciously shipped them to us. Great customer service! The property and grounds are beautiful and well maintained. We will definitely return on our next visit.

Enjoyed my bday at this beautiful ocean view condo. Accommodated all of us and everything we needed. The host was beyond helpful and recommended numerous amount of places to eat and venture.....Absolutely breathtaking views.

We were a family of 6 adults ( supposed to be 7, but 1got sick hours before we were to come to PR) , aunts, uncle & cousin of the bride. Jennifer communicated with us from time of booking & made check in smooth. The condo was just as we expected & very accommodating for our group. We did not use many of the amenities due to the short time we were there & we had many wedding activities. If we were to return to PR I would definitely stay here again. Beach is less than 100 steps. Front deck looks at ocean & back deck looks over golf course & pool is next door. Great location.

The manager was extremely communicative. The property was very modern and clean. The kitchen was well stocked . I would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay at Candelero Abajo. Communication with the owner was excellent - I had many questions both before and during our trip, and she always answered within a few hours. The condo was clean and comfortable, with plenty of space for my family of five to spread out. We always rent condos while on vacation so we can cook meals at home, and the kitchen was pretty well furnished with everything we needed. Palmas Del Mar is a fun place to stay - Jennifer highly recommended that we rent a golf cart while we were there, and I'm so glad we did that. Our teenagers absolutely loved it! The only thing I'd recommend is having more garbage bags available, since the directions are to take the trash out every day and there was only one garbage bag provided. And the washing machine seems to not be working optimally. Other than those small issues, it was a wonderful trip - thank you Jennifer!

I really can’t say enough words to describe the most amazing weekend spend on this property. The villa was clean, well equipped and it was beyond described online. Big enough for 6 adults, 1 teenager and 1 kid. We had the time of our lives and I wish we stayed for way longer. The kitchen has everything you need to cook absolutely anything. Two beautiful patios, one with a beach view and the other overlooking the golf course. Very nice and quiet area and very close to the pool. Equipped with enough bath towels as well as beach towels, some water toys, beach chairs, coolers and even a playpen for a baby. Very secure and everyone at Palmas Del Mar was very kind. The management was very very nice and the communication was excellent through the entire process before, during and after the stay. - if you are going to stay longer, I would suggest looking into renting Gof carts WAY ahead of time bc they are rented way in advance. I will come back to this villa ASAP LOL

We loved the large kitchen/ living room area that never felt crowded. Both bathrooms are a good size and the rainfall shower heads were a plus. Palmas Del Mar is lovely as well. The property is well maintained, it’s quiet, and very safe. It should be noted that the amount of seaweed that has accumulated on the beach has left it unusable. The view of the beach/ocean from the patio is priceless, but I wouldn’t say you have “beach access” at Palmas. We enjoyed the community pool though which was right next to our building. Jennifer was always just a message away with any questions we had and she also offered recommendations for beaches and restaurants and other activities to do. I highly recommend this particular villa and Palmas Del Mar. It suited our large family’s needs (comfortably!) and I would not hesitate to book this spot again. It really felt like home for the week.

We spent a few nights here in June 2021, and had a lovely time. It’s a beautiful location and property. Jennifer was very responsive and accommodating for us. Delightful experience all around.
