Location was fine. Casa is in dire need of some attention. Wearing and tear is showing...had no chance to use pool as pool was taken over by. Children of renters below.

Great buffet down the hill!

Pool, though very cold, was nice and clean. Our neighbors were lovely.

The hospitality was not friendly, it was run like a business only with employees who did their job but you could tell they didn’t really care about the guests. The apartment was out dated; window curtains didn’t pull open, bed pillows were thick and hard, Wi-Fi didn’t work much of the time, communication on how to check in was non existent and there were no lounge chairs for the pool deck area just plastic chairs. Kitchen supplies were sub par so don’t plan to try to prepare meals easily.

Very quiet with nice pool close to beach and. Restaurants Stayed in the bungalow which met our needs well. Recommend

The pool is very clean. The staff is fantastic. The AC works great.

perfect location , very quiet neighborhood . Clean nice pool. Enjoyed outdoor bbq. Apt was very clean. beds were comfortable and kitchen had more than enough utensils etc to cook . was greeted with fresh flowers and an assortment of delicious cinnamon rolls on arrival. Staff super accommodating and friendly. highly recommend Casa Monarca oh I forgot, I mentioned we were celebrating a birthday and 2 hours later a cake was in the room . top notch service, Gracias!

Everyone was super friendly and the pool was very refreshing and clean. Roof top view was wonderful. John had some fresh bread sent over which was amazing. We all loved it. There is a great grilling spot by the pool and plenty of lounge chairs as well as tables and umbrellas to enjoy your outdoor food or refreshments by. The path to the beach was nice and very close. You are only a few blocks up from the beach. Easy walk with just a small incline. Photos of the room are 100% accurate. We found it to be cute and we also enjoyed the resident cat.

I personally found the beds to be uncomfortable and a bit untidy. I couldn't tell if the sheets were a bit dirty or just old so they looked that way. I kept shaking out the sheets, finding them a bit itchy. The walls had quite a few drain flys, which are harmless and don't bite, but it means there is unclean water in the area. (maybe the drains?) Be careful not to drink any water ( no matter where you are in Mexico) other than the provided filtered water. There is filtered drinking water provided. There was a great breeze, but the window screens were a bit big so the no see-ums were able to get in.
