Sarah, our host, adds extra touches that really make this house a special place to stay. There were fresh flowers, coffee beans from the island roaster, and farm fresh eggs. The house is lovely and very clean. It has everything you can think of, including some things that we regard as almost unheard of for vacation rentals: plastic wrap, adequate toilet paper, and Ziplock bags? I don’t remember the last time I didn’t need to supplement on all those fronts. Beach access is across a road. My VI homeowner friends advise that this is typical of “beachfront” properties on the island. It wasn’t what I expected but it also didn’t detract from our experience of the island. We definitely hope to stay here again.

The home was great.... comfortable, attractive, well-appointed. Soap for the showers was about the only thing missing! And the weather could have been better, but it was appropriate for the location!

A great central location on the island, and we lost a lot of time to just staring out at the water! Lots of fun games, and anything you could need right in the house, towels, kitchen stuff, basic cooking needs. A+ stay!

The home and location were wonderful. We enjoyed the harbor with beach walks, kayaking and full views of sunrise to sunset. The home was very comfortable woth thoughtfulness for cooking and playing games in the evenings.

The place was perfect for myself and my 2 brothers to have our annual Sibling Reunion. Spacious with excellent energy flow and lovely details. Extremely clean and well cared for!

We came for a long weekend and it was just what we needed to get away, relax and do some exploring. The inside of the house is absolutely beautiful, completely remodeled and fully stocked with everything you could want, including games, puzzles, books, etc. The outside area is nice as well with a foosball table and very cute string lights, but some new outdoor dining chairs (that can't rust) would make eating outdoors more inviting. We would definitely recommend staying here if you're looking to visit Vashon Island. We certainly would book this property again. Thank you for sharing your home!

Whether kayaking, cooking, or just gazing at the harbor, this house was absolutely ideal for taking in the beauty of summer on Vashon. Sarah was a helpful, communicative host, and our excursions around the island always ended blissfully at the immaculate house. Thumbs up from the whole family.

A great house and location to house our family of adult children and grandchild and occasional visits from extended family living on Vashon and others staying at another house. But real thanks and appreciation to our local host for quickly responding to all our questions.

Really wonderful spot. The attention to detail in the home was exceptional. Very comfortable, very clean, and had all the amenities we needed and more. There was no skimping on quality. The house really felt like a home as opposed to a vacation rental. Would absolutely would stay here again, and would highly recommend for anyone to stay!

This host, Sarah, managed to provide everything we could possibly need to be comfortable and so much more --- beautiful decor that connected her family's history to the renovated home, amazing harbor views, helpful info on exploring the island, a gourmet-quality kitchen, gathering areas for groups of 8 or intimate areas for two, an outside covered porch that allowed game playing no matter the weather, and did I mention those amazing beds??? My family will definitely return the next time we visit the island!

My husband and two daughters (14 & 10), and my parents and I absolutely adored this immaculate, and most beautifully appointed home. It was perfect for us! I kept saying, "I love this furniture" and "how cute, look at these photos". Little touches like fresh flowers and fresh eggs, and even makeup wipes in the bathroom were so thoughtful! The views were gorgeous and we all felt so welcomed and comfortable. The only suggestion I would offer is perhaps try to get better TV service, and at least one full length mirror. Our host, Sarah was always responsive and exceptionally accommodating when we had to request early arrival and late departure. THANK YOU SARAH! I wish our stay could've been longer! Overall, our trip to Vashon to see my nephew graduate from VHS and visit with family was one we will never forget! When we come back, there is no place we would rather stay than Quartermaster Harbor! The house is better then advertised. The location was perfect for our needs. Everything was clean, comfortable and premium. The house had everything we needed for a successful week, plenty of space to hang out or spread out as needed. Short drive to amazing restaurants or either ferry.

The location is perfect, with a cute private little beach directly across the street and downtown vashon only 10-minutes away. And the house itself is as charming as it gets, with beautiful views and amazingly nice furnishings throughout. We were so comfortable, and will definitely be back.

Beautiful home with everything you could possibly need (lots of cozy blankets, coffee grinder, a variety of pots and pans, spices, Tupperware, and aluminum foil were most appreciated by us). The owners clearly put a lot of love and attention in the remodel and even had the place beautifully decorated for Christmas. Our almost 2 year old loved exploring and it was a safe space for him to do so with only a few things that needed to be moved out of reach. Sarah was very communicative and helpful send the neighbor was friendly. Adorable island and an easy trip from Portland. We’ll definitely be back.

My family and I stayed here for Christmas. The house truly exceeded our expectations. There were Christmas decorations that made us feel very welcome. My parents, who are older and have limited mobility, loved sitting and watching the water. The house is single story, so it was easy for them to move around. The kitchen was spacious and well-stocked for making family meals. We would love to stay here on our next family visit to Vashon. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
