A small kinda quirky hotel run by super nice people. Food was great and the pool very refreshing in the hot afternoon. Very close to the coba ruins so we could be there first thing in the morning.
Rooms are basically huts, there are fans but it was so hot that they hardly helped, no AC. Quite a lot of insects (well you are in the jungle) which didn't bother us a lot but scared my kid quite a bit.

This little inn was the highlight of our trip to the Yucatan. The owners and staff were so hospitable & engaging, appearing as if by magic to see if we needed anything. Our room was lovely with plenty of fans and a good mosquito net (which if you’ve been to the Yucatan you’ll know is important.) The inn is built in traditional palapa style, meaning without solid walls, so you get a real feeling of the jungle when you’re there, with bird sounds, insects chirping, and sounds from the distant churches if they are having services. You will have a much more immersive experience here than at a traditional hotel if you allow yourself to go with the flow. Highly recommend.
Little tough to find! Recommend to others to read a description of the location with directions. Using map on phone wasn’t terribly accurate.

Communication prior to our trip was excellent. Staff couldn't have been more helpful. Hector collected us from the bus and was present throughout our stay, always checking we had what we needed. The hotel is small with a family feel and extremely well thought out. There is everything you need. Spotless, comfortable and within walking distance to the ruins. Hector took us to a cenote one afternoon which was very close and stunning.
Loved every minute of our stay and didn't want to leave.
It is tricky to find out information about the bus in advance. You need to go to the ADO station in either Tulum or Playa del Carmen and you csn book a ticket there. There isn't any information about timetables or bus routes online. It is also tricky to get the bus back from Cobá but Hector can drive you to the main road to get a colectivo or to Tulum.

Very clean, well located. The owners are very service minded.
If you are a good sleeper, then I think you can have a good night here. I was awake all the time due to barking dogs… Apparently they are not always there.. If you like luxury, then you might not find here what you like. Expensive all in all

Hector and Alfredo provided the most amazing oasis in Coba. I have never felt so pampered in my life and hated to leave. The property is beautiful with gorgeous plants and art everywhere. They will also cook you three meals a day—just tell them what you want—for a very reasonable price. The WiFi is strong, the bed comfortable, and my room was huge with a lovely little settee and hammock added as well. Their recommendations on things to do in the area is top notch. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.
Not a thing— I wanted to move in. Because of how the hotel is built: very open, you will sometimes hear music coming from town or other guests walking by, but that didn’t bother me at all.

This is the most unique/welcoming/beautiful boutique hotel. Hector, Alfredo & Gustavo made us feel instantly at home and even gave us lifts when we arrived & left. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated and feels like a little slice of paradise in the jungle. We really hope to come back when we next visit Mexico.

The hosts are very attentive, friendly and helpful. They were able to help with all our requests and gave us good insider tips for day trips.
The accommodation is very communal and even though it is not large, you still have enough privacy.

What a magical oasis this amazing family has created! It was the most peaceful stay to come to after our adventures visiting the ruins, cenotes, and Punta Laguna. The warmth, attention, and love made our stay that much more special! Loved this little peace of enchantment and beautiful people! And can’t forget, their kitty Tragon gave us extra love! He even slept in our bed one night!
Loved everything!

Lovely little gem at the boarder of the Mexican jungle. The rooms are simply stunning, comfortable and stylish with respect for nature and local materials. Hector, Alfredo and Edith make your stay so relaxing and nice. They even spoiled us with home made lemonade and empanadas!

Everything. The position of the place, close to the jungle, the style of the place but most of all the owners. One special word we have to say to Hector, one of the best host ever. Thank you again for hosting us with this worm. See u in Roma in September or October Hector.
All perfect

The hotel is at the end of a small lovely town, away from mass tourism. It's an hidden gem, a lovely place where to unwind after a day in the Maya ruins or cenotes. It has everything you need and more. The room are massive and the bed very comfortable, the pool is pristine and so refreshing at the end of the day, and the communal spaces are spotless and very inviting. We loved it.

Hotel is looking really nice and have special decoration
Hosts were soo nice and helpful. They proposed us food and drinks and even when we said about that we don’t have package with breakfast they said that it’s totally ok and they usually giving breakfast. When we already wanted to leave property the owner said that we have to pay additionally 30$ per food. So be careful about what are you talking from this hotel even when the hosts are really nice becuase they gonna charge you.

I loved the pool experience, and the meals that were custom-made and served outside. I especially loved being one to the edge of the jungle, and the simple construction of the hotel. I loved the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff, who ensured we were comfortable and informed on nearby excursions. This wonderful establishment felt more like a cozy bed & breakfast than a hotel!
The pricing of the meals was unknown until final tally before checkout, and it would be helpful to know the meal costs in advance.

Alfredo, Edite and Hector are absolutely amazing hosts! they are definitely the best and always there to support you. The energy and the jungle surroundings of the hotel somehow transports you to another state of mind. The space of the hotel is thought to relax you and the decorations is marvelous.
Nothing. considering you are in the middle of the jungle, everything was great.

The staff were amazing and really made our stay memorable and it felt like a second home in the Mayan jungle.
The location is perfect too, quiet and only 10min walking to the Coba Pyramid park.
The only thing that could of been better was having a mosquito net inside the suite we stayed in.

Hector and friends made us feel very welcome and treated us more like friends than guests. If we are back in the area we will definitely stay here again. Lovely pool in the courtyard, home cooked meals, great travel suggestions. Hector even took us to a Mayan village himself.

It is a nice place, different from other places one can book onsite. Nicely built, using natural materials, like bamboo, this gives it all a friendly look. Small pool with hammocks and lazy chairs. Place is nicely lit in the evening. We had a specious room.
The location! Truly misleading, compared to the picture they put on the web. They should not mention that it is "in the middle of the jungle". This is very untrue!! It is located at the end of a dead-end-street. When they put a photo of a building surrounded by jungle on the side, that is just untrue. Instead of listening to jungle sounds, we were surrounded by neighbours, chickens, even a rooster and barking dogs. Very disappointing.

unique format. spacious ‘house’. cool photos. perfect for 1 night to get the experience
it was very cold. we asked for a blanket, it helped. but still didn’t fully enjoy the stay because of that. we were the only quests. other rooms were renovated and it was a bit noisy.

This place is a hidden gem in Coba! Its unique and lovely in every detail! The rooms are spacious and perfectly equipped with mosqutio protection so you can enjoy sleeping in a jungle house to the fullest! besides the sound of birds and other animals it’s very quite. The bed is big and super comfortable! Probably the best about this place are the hosts and staff, everyone is so friendly and lovely! They help you with everything, always make sure that you have everything you need to have a good and relaxing time! We loved the Margaritas they mixed for us and the food (especially the breakfast) was also good! I definitely recommend to stay at Jungla y Estrellas if you wanna visit Cobá or even when you are on a journey through that area.
nothing, absolutely perfect!
