The only likable aspect of this property was the view.

Everything could have been better, the entry door was rusted and rotting, there was mold in the shower, and 2 minutes into the shower the hot water would shut off. The beds are like sleeping on the floor. The entire complex needs maintenance and we were told we had to use the lock box to obtain the key to the pool that is NOT IN SERVICE. The main page indicates 8.2 destination for couples, maybe that was true in 1980 when this was in its glory but whoever rents this should be ashamed of themselves. The entire place smelled musty. Pass this place up.

Lead to believe there would be beach access and a beautiful pool to swim in. That was the whole reason for booking this place

No one was working the front desk and lights were off they had a sign that no one would be working the front desk anymore. Ran into someone else in the building who said this place was a scam. No beach access and no pool either as displayed. Had to go stay at somewhere else.

Based on add I loved it was on a beach with access and also a pool.

I didn’t like when asking questions it was always call the owner. There is no operational pool, they state it is not a resort it is a ab&b. Each room was owned by individuals The resort fee was 29.00 a night when there is no access to beach. We had to walk down to hotels to get access. Owners tried to say it was posted but sent them a picture of the add. It stated pool and beach access. Very misleading. Of course they will not refund any of the resort fee. They also charge for ice. Crazy

The room was well equipped.

No real staff, had to pay for ice? The construction noise all day long the building vibrated and could not even use the balcony. The pool was closed. The access to the beach is still unrepaired 6 months after it was damaged. Halls had a musty moldy oder. Roaches came out often. Place just looked and smelled bad and run down. Should have been advised at booking that these issues were present...no pool, pay for everything that is free at any other facility similar. The construction and noise from the construction was unacceptable not to be told up front.

The water pressure in the shower was good.

Firstly, we got no checkin information until we called the owner a good 4 times. It wasn't the room that we reserved. We chose the room specifically off of the pictures provided. When asked the owner attempted to convince me that it was the room from the pictures, but you can clearly see that the room from the photos was on the other side of the building. The faucets on the shower literally had tile broken around them, and the AC unit wouldn't allow us to change the temperature at all. We contacted the owner and he asked us to perform a reset of the AC unit in exchange we would receive a late checkout at 12pm free of charge. We did so, the AC continued not to work, and the cleaning lady showed up at 1045 clearly not having been notified. And without warning she just walked into our room, no knock or anything. Just walked in before even the standard checkout time. I WILL NEVER USE BOOKING.COM AGAIN OR GO TO THIS RESORT AGAIN.

The owner was ignorant and arrogant though. Someone broke into our unit when we went to have dinner. When we returned the door was unlocked and slightly open. The TV was on and muted (we didn’t turn on the TV at all during our stay) and there was noise inside that someone is searching our bags. We didn’t enter because it was not safe and immediately called the owner, the owner never answer phone calls even in emergency like this. Then he/she texted that it’s impossible that someone is inside …how would he/she know that if wasn’t there?! We called the police, but they told us to wait downstairs for them to arrive. That gave the opportunity for escape se there are multiple exists. We entered the unit with the police and packed our stuff while they waited on us and quickly left the property in the middle of the night without completing our whole stay. In the hallway it smelled like marijuana smoke, there is no pool or direct beach access as described and even the front desk employees complained that the owner false advertising the unit and people complain to them nonstop. The unit itself is ok, however, the place is not secure or safe. it doesn’t have proper secure locks or the owner that cares about others’ safety.
