Very good facility. Some additional arrangements for food especially in the afternoon would have been better. But no issues, there were some hotels nearby. I liked the overall facility and it was worth the price.

Friendly staff. Nice fresh juice from the attached cafe. Food looked nice but didn't get a chance to try and when I ordered there was a power cut (whole area not just this place) I like that they offered a morning yoga session. Didn't actually attend but having the option was a great bonus.

Bathroom was vile. Smelled can't have been cleaned in ages. Dusty room which also hadn't seen a clean in a while. No shared bathroom facilities just the ones in the room. Room wasn't ready to check in on time.

To me the best thing about staying at TantraLoka Retreat Center was the common areas. It's so easy to meet people at events, workshops, and just hanging around at the cafe which is beautiful. Many of my lasting friendships in Arambol started at TantraLoka. The cafe is also a good place to work, though the wifi can be spotty. The staff was kind, patient, reasonable, and accommodating; they really helped me out of a few tough situations! In particular at one point there was another male traveler with whom I felt unsafe and uncomfortable, and I felt very well taken care of with how the staff responded to my complaint. Turns out this individual caused a few other issues so he was asked to leave, and he left a 1 start review with no comment- this is why!

The cafe food & drink service can be a bit slow and unreliable, but the quality of the food is excellent.

The food is a little costlier than the other cafes around the corner.

I didn't understand some refusals from the team (to borrow books, which are represented in reception(like for borrowing) and some other similar things. This place is rather expensive for Arambol, that's why my expectations were relatively high.

- Little away from Arambol main shopping street - There was no mirror and no soap in my private bathroom - Property could be cleaner - As mentioned by another reviewer, I too feel that the interaction with the guests should be improved. I didn't feel welcomed during my arrival at the property. No information was provided about the activities happening at the retreat centre. Also they were not able to provide much info about things to do in Arambol in general even after asking. The vibe I felt in general was not very pleasant. I expected much better energy since this is a spiritual retreat centre. I checked-out two days earlier and transferred to a better accommodation in Goa at a different beach.

good location, clean room, comfortable bed and warm shower. location is also not too bad as it‘s in a relatively calm area with walking distance to the beach and some nice restaurants.

interaction with guests should be improved. we arrived on a hot day with heavy backpacks and felt not really welcomed. no „how are you?“, no „where are you from?“, no „do you want to drink something?“, no „please drop your backs in your room, settle in and after come back for the check in Procedere“. instead it was like: here, fill in your details and give me your money. after we paid they gave us the keys to our room and that was it. nobody showed us around the property, nothing. they were not able to help us renting a motor bike nor were they helpful with booking train/bus tickets. though they pretend to be a yoga-peace-and-happiness-meditation-centre the vibes were cold and unpleasant. one day my wife got sick. after she left the room for the first time after two days nobody asked her how she‘s feeling. I mean, if you don’t care about the well-being of your guests you probably shouldn’t work in hospitality. this place is the evidence that meditation and yoga on a daily base don’t turn you automatically into a good person with an open heart.

Very nice location with workshop area and cafe on the premises. Beds were comfy. Staff is very nice. Location is good.

It's a beautiful property with clean and comfy beds, a stay here will definitely recharge your batteries. Big shoutout to Ayush & Sonam for making my stay memorable. I highly recommend the yoga & meditation classes, especially the ones guided by Sonam :)
