Roris es una magnífica anfitriona, su lugar de alojamiento es muy lindo, cómodo y extremadamente aseado, te da muchas recomendaciones locales y hasta charlas tuvimos, totalmente recomendado para quedarse en samaná, es cerca de todo, teniendo en cuenta de que samaná es pequeño, roris también te ofrece toures a muy buenos precios y confiables, en fin, se van a sentir como en casa.

Owner/host was very communicative and checked in thru WhatsApp often. She wasn't on site but if I needed anything at all, I could reach her at any time. The cleaning lady lives on-site, so she was always available. 10 min walk to town area (grocery stores nearby) and 20-25 min walk to the beach. The street noise is loud in Samana but in my room it was not a problem (I shut windows and turned on the fan). I felt very comfortable and safe. The kitchen was nice, had everything one could need and there was even a wash machine if you needed to do some laundry. I ended up staying another 3 nights :)

La amabilidad de Roris sin duda es lo mejor que tiene su hogar. Nos facilito la lavadora, siendo que no estaba incluido en el servicio. Pudimos preparar nuestras comidas en la cocina compartida, que tiene todo lo necesario para este fin. Una terraza maravillosa, que tiene vista al mar, por lo que se puede disfrutar y realizar perfectamente ahí algún panorama.

Esta un poco retirado del centro y en subida, por lo que a algunas personas les puede incomodar, sin embargo hay mototaxis, que por 200 PD aproximadamente te llevan a la ubicación. Otro punto a mejorar es la presión del agua en el baño, cuesta ducharse con la cantidad de agua que sale.

A decent place to stay in Samana. The host is super friendly and helpful, and she helped us arrange a trip to the national park. A good kitchen, filtered water is provided, clean room. If you are going to stay in Samana, this was a great option.

Samana was not really our favorite town. We stayed for three nights, but should have stayed one night to go to the national park, and then head over to Las Galeras. This, of course, was not the fault of our host. We spent one of those days renting a scooter to visit Las Galeras instead which was fun and easy to do. Warning: The location is at the top of a steep hill, but it did not bother us. Just be prepared. It's easy without luggage.
