What a beautiful home. The house has everything you could need. Our family of four enjoyed the property. We were in town for a family reunion and we can't wait to come back.

Absolutely loved our stay here. The home was in pristine condition and decorated beautifully! So much charm and character! The owners literally thought of everything from the fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms to the comfy beds & linens. The front porch was perfect for morning coffee. The location is a very short walk to town. This was a 10+ and we would not hesitate to stay here again.

I don’t even know where to start with this review. We have rented houses, villas, condos all over the country from VRBO for about 25 years. Some places are ok, some are pretty good and some are outstanding. This house falls into the outstanding category. Just my husband and I stayed there (67 yrs old) for a week in April. We came to the area from Texas to enjoy biking, hiking and just relaxing. Let me tell you, it was hard to leave the house everyday because we were so comfortable. Kelley and Charley have thought of everything. Delicious banana nut bread and a basket of fresh fruits awaited our arrival. The kitchen is better stocked than my own at home. And all very classy dinnerware, glassware, pots and pans. We cooked most meals there and loved it. They are putting a gas grill in soon and that’s going to be an added amenity. The beds are beautifully made and so comfy. Again, all bedding and towels are first rate. We enjoyed the front and side porches for coffee and happy hour. Shampoos, soaps, coffee, hot cocoa and creamer pods, and most of all, very very good toilet paper. I know, you ask why put that in the review? Because we have rented much more expensive houses and they only supply 1 ply rolls. Annoying. Kelley is super easy to contact and responded quickly with answers to my many questions. We will be back one day to bring friends and enjoy this house again.

I have stayed in a lot of VRBO's around the country but this one by far, exceeds them all. The small details throughout the home made it very apparent that the owners #1 objective was to make sure the guest has a fabulous stay. Snacks, fruit, extra bedding, personal care item . . . . just to name a few things.

I concur with all of the prior 5 Star Reviews. I cannot say enough about the accommodations, location and hospitality of the owner. Not a detail was ignored and our entire group raved about the property. When I received texts from the first couple to arrive at the home, I knew I made the right choice! We felt at home and enjoyed ending our nights sitting in the cozy family room talking. This was our first time traveling to Lewisburg and the town did not disappoint either. Thank you for making our getaway a trip to remember!

We had a wonderful stay at Kelley’s place. It is exactly as described and perfectly appointed with anything you may need. The extra step of the wonderful pumpkin bread and bedside chocolates made us feel most welcome!

We had a wonderful weekend in this quaint home! The pictures do not do it justice! It was more than spacious, the kitchen very well appointed, the bedrooms and bathrooms were absolutely beautiful. Completely updated and modern, yet you could feel the history all around you in this wonderful home. Beds were extremely comfortable and the linens first class! Thank you so much Kelley, you were more than attentive and great to work with!

It was wonderful for 2 older couples with overflow family members at the General Lewis Inn. The best location in Lewisburg and the house has been beautifully restored and very modern.

Twice a year my friends and I have a girls weekend to catch up. We have stayed in many rental properties but this home was absolutely the best yet. Beautifully decorated, great location and SO many personal touches that made it a perfect weekend. Our host left us a lovely bottle of wine, fresh baked raspberry bars and chocolates in each bedroom. Any issues during the stay were addressed immediately. While I have been in Lewisburg many times this was my favorite trip. If you are looking for a great getaway in Lewisburg you should book this home!

The home is very cozy and in a great location to everything in town, especially being 3 houses down from the French Goat...wonderful restaurant! But most importantly Kelley is an extremely thoughtful and great host, so many special touches and treats. Would definitely stay there again!!!

We needed a place to stay while moving our son into his apartment so we chose this location. This house is immaculate! The house is even more beautiful than the pictures. We are beyond happy with our stay here. The owners thought of everything to make you feel comfortable—coffee station, cookies, fruit, cozy blankets, brita water, shower supplies etc etc. It really felt like we were at our own home during our stay. The owners are a joy to talk to and helpful in any way possible. The house is in walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in town, I will be back to stay here as soon as I can!!

A lovely historic home that has been remodeled with the perfect balance of historic and modern. The home is stunning! And Kelley is a rock star host! She gives attention to every detail of the home and to us as guests. She was so thoughtful and generous in every way. We felt that she truly wanted us to feel at home and enjoy our stay. And we did!

This property was just what we needed for our time in Lewisburg. The house was immaculately clean, probably the most important thing to me when staying anywhere. Anything we needed and some things we didn't know we needed were made available to us by the owner, Kelley. The mattress was comfortable and the sheets were thankfully not microfiber, but of good quality. The towels were also worthy of the beautiful home. We appreciated all the other special touches left for guests by Kelley. We wished we had more time to explore Lewisburg and hope to stay here again. Thank you, Kelley. You have done Lewisburg proud.

Our stay at this elegant and cozy historic Lewisburg home was wonderful. All the amenities of home were provided for and then some. We had two families that were able to stay together with sufficient privacy for each. Thank you for a great stay!

This is an old house that has been beautifully remodeled. The bathrooms and kitchen are modern and excellent. As a wonderful and unexpected delight, the host, Kelley, welcomed us by leaving chocolate cookies and Hershey's Kisses. The house is extremely well appointed and furnished, and it is in easy walking distance of the great shops and restaurants of Lewisburg, which is a quaint and beautiful little town. It is literally just a block and a half from The French Goat - a fabulous and elegant French restaurant. We also went to the Humble Tomato for great Italian fare (Delicious Lasagna, Spaghetti & Meatballs, and incredible Mussels - but I don't recommend the pizza). Lewisburg is not far from the Greenbrier, so we went there to take a class on blowing and sculpting glass at a shop named Virtu - it was great fun and the instructor made ending up with beautiful glass art very easy. We would definitely recommend this property (and we would definitely recommend taking a class at Virtu)!

Historic home, gorgeously remodeled. So close to the center of historic Lewisburg. Great restaurants short walk away. Would definitely love to stay again!

An amazing place to stay! Home is beautiful and cozy, Kelley is the perfect hostess- easy to reach and has thought of everything you could need. ( thanks for the toothpaste!) I met a friend here for a girls trip and Kelley thoughtfully left us yummy pumpkin bread and wine for treats! Location was perfect. An easy walk to many restaurants and cute boutiques and easy drive to many sites. Definitely one of the best places I have stayed! Will definitely come back! Thank you!!

My family and I have stayed at dozens of travel properties over the years and – without hesitation – we all agreed this is the nicest one we've ever stayed at! From the comfy beds to the welcome gifts, we truly felt at home. The location was a perfect jumping off place to explore Lewisburg and the surrounding areas.

We spent a few days here meeting up with family. The house is amazing. Every detail was thought out so we would have the best experience. Kelly has thought of everything you may need during your stay. She gave great ideas for activities to do during rainy days and wonderful restaurant suggestions. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area.

This historic house is wonderful. It has many preserved historic elements, with all the modern necessities. Kelley’s attention to detail in the furnishings and decorations, and in anticipating our every need, made this an extra special destination for our gathering. A great bonus is that the house is within walking distance to many shops and restaurants and only a short drive to The Greenbrier Resort. Looking forward to another stay!

We loved absolutely everything about the house, neighborhood, and region. The photos do not do this home justice—it’s even more spacious than it appears in photos. Everything in the glowing reviews is true-the property is immaculate, beautifully decorated, with everything you could possibly need. Even coffee (regular and decaf) is provided, and the host left us a welcome tray of fresh pumpkin bread. Definitely one of our favorite rentals!

Had a great visit with our friends from MD at this most wonderful home. We all love old and this place has it, but we most loved the way the place was so updated. So tastefully decorated and modernized! Anyone would love to have its kitchen as their own. Kelley has it so well supplied with the basic necessities too. A platter with homemade pumpkin bread was such a sweet treat. Kelley was great with any communication! Highly recommend this place for a stay in the Lewisburg area!
