Had a wonderful time! This was our second stay here. The location is perfect, as you can easily go everywhere in the downtown by walking. Tried the French Goat for the first time and it was unbelievable. Delicious. The home is also very close to the Briergarten, which we visited numerous times. I’d only suggest updating the linens, but other than that it’s perfect. The host is so easy to deal with and checkin and checkout was a breeze. Can’t wait to return!!

We are repeat guests of this property because it is simply fabulous! Our stay this summer was for 2weeks. This house is great with the flexibility of renting an additional bed/bath. We entertained two groups of out of state visitors and everyone loved their accommodations and the fun things to do /see in the Lewisburg area. Our host was delightful and accommodating. We will be back!

It’s was an amazing home. The Vrbo owner/manager could not have been any more helpful or friendly to us. Easy check in and check out. The home is in the heart of the city. We didn’t need to drive anywhere. It’s a “must stay”.

A great location with character. Comfortable accommodations with plenty of bedrooms and baths, ample outdoor porch area to gather. Owner available next door and very welcoming. Outside planted area makes the environment relaxing. Parked the car and could walk everywhere in town the whole weekend.

What a beautiful old home! Very clean and a perfect location for a weekend getaway to Lewisburg. We enjoyed the private patio and the fireplace when it got cold out.

We wanted to explore the Lewisburg area during a recent drop off at UVA and decided to stay out of Charlottesville this time. The historic home had great vibes and morning tea on the stone patio was so peaceful. Great communication with the friendly/helpful host and perfect location nearby shops and food. We would definitely stay here again!

We four siblings and spouses decided to drive from a large family reunion in Gatlinburg to Lewisburg to spend some time together. We very much enjoyed the patio and the lovely setting, as well as the house itself. The house is in an excellent location for shopping , touring the Greenbrier, and wonderful restaurants. I hope to stay there again in the future!

Kelly's Home in historic Lewisburg was wonderful. She has thought of everything her guests would need. The beds and couches were comfortable and inviting. The kitchen was well appointed. We enjoyed our time in the living room playing cards and trivial pursuit, which she has provided for her guests. We also enjoyed the outdoor patio where we enjoyed the lovely evenings drinking wine and eating dinner. Thank you Kelly! We hope to be back someday!

Great location
The house was perfect! It's so close to town and makes it great to be able to walk everywhere. Nice outside area and I'm sure the gardens are beautiful when they are blooming. Very clean ! We will return.

Splendid
This cozy rental is the real deal. Yes it's old, 1835, but it has everything you need. It's been upgraded over the years, but not too much. It certainly doesn't look like a boxy hotel room. It is one block away from the middle of downtown. I was there during a snowy, icy period, but I plan to go back in nice weather to take advantage of the outside seating, grill, and activities. The host was very responsive and not at all intrusive.

Comfortable spaces with wonderful historic details; lovely garden and patio for morning coffee, dining and evening wine. We would have loved to use the fireplace but much too warm during our September trip. We'll have to return in the winter! Our host responded immediately to our queries.

Great location, can easily walk to anywhere in town. Clean, comfortable, has everything you need. Responsive host. Have no complaints. Do note it is an old house, narrow stairs, slightly uneven, or one step up floors. Personally thought that added to the charm of the location, could be problem if have mobility issues. I would happily recommend or stay again.
