This property was perfect for our needs. We had two families with a total of four kids, and we were able to handle all bedtimes and playing while still allowing the adults to catch up and enjoy our time together. It was clean and large and beautiful. The best part? Enjoying our morning coffee on the front porch with a stunning misty mountain view in front of us.

We choose to book this cabin with our children and grandchildren in place of gift exchanges this Christmas and was not disappointed! The cabin was decorated for the holidays which added such a festive touch to our getaway! It had everything we needed to be comfortable and fun. Views are outstanding. Owner communicated quickly with any questions or concerns we had! Would definitely recommend!

Place was great! Little drive into town but view was beautiful and we enjoyed our stay. Had some crazy weather our last night and lost power they were very accommodating and had extra lanterns and batteries delivered to the door.

We loved everything about our stay. The view from the front porch was amazing! Close enough to drive to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge during the day, far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet in the evening. The property was very clean and had everything we needed for a week long stay. The kids loved the game room! We saw a mama bear and her three cubs every day that we were here. We would love to stay here stay again in the future.

Definitely liked the cabin, Family loved how the cabin was made and the provided scenery of the mountains. We liked how the cabin provided little amenities, such as toothbrushes and little cereal boxes. Very nice touch.

The Smokey Mountains are my happy place so we have been many times. This was our family’s favorite VRBO we have ever stayed in!
Do yourself a favor, grab an adult beverage, go to the top floor, get in the little hammock chair and just take it all in! The beauty is awe inspiring! Space was perfect, had everything we needed! Bears…yeah those are for real a thing! We saw several and on the last day we were loading up the car and a lovely bear friend decided she wanted the cooler full of moonshine jars we had not yet loaded in the car! Quite the adventure and the the memory!
Beds were comfortable, game room is great for kids and location met our needs of being close enough for fun family days out but getting to come back to the solitude of the mountains! Can’t recommend this place enough!!

This cabin was awesome for a relaxing weekend filled with hiking, exploring downtown Gatlinburg, and family time. Very clean and exceeded our expectations! Would definitely recommend to anyone

The views were beautiful. I loved the rocking chairs in the front porch. We did spot some bears. The house was a perfect fit for us! We had a great time!

Great stay at this cabin with a great location. The hot tub and lower level games brought everyone together after a long hike or day of adventures. Close to the Smoky Mountain National Park and Gatlinburg. Community pool was clean, easy to get to and had a beautiful setting. Our host, Sherrie was very responsive and gave great suggestions. Check-in/out was super easy. Lot of fun seeing the local bears around roughly 10 am on a couple mornings as well. Cabin was clean with a great floor plan....consistent with the pictures and description. Would definitely stay here again! Thanks Sherrie!

This was a lovely cabin with a lovely view. We had all the amenities needed for our stay. There was no real need to leave the site. The only critique was the cleanliness. Underneath the couches, food was found. I’m sure there’s a hired cleaning service, but with the amount paid for a “cleaning fee,” I would expect it to be cleaner.

Our stay with you was awesome! My 13 year old daughter was so excited about her own space downstairs with the bunk beds and game room!! Very clean! Beautiful views!!! Location is only about 20 min from Gatlinburg and other attractions. We loved our stay, thank you!

Cabin was very nice, beautiful view as pictured, everything we needed and fun things for kids to do in the cabin but it needed more cleaning. Owner was very nice and responsive about our concerns about lack of cleaning. Cleaning people came back and cleaned better. We very much enjoyed the rest of our stay. Maybe just needs to consider a new cleaner and all would be perfect!!

Beautiful views. Sherri was great. Concerns with front door being able to see daylight all around door jam. Hot tub smelled of mildew. Leaving us and our swimwear with quite an odor. Kid lost his phone somewhere in cabin and upon moving some pieces of furniture, a lot of dust and food crumbs underneath. And finally, first dish we pulled from cupboard had dried food of some sort on it. All in all a pretty good experience for the price.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. We loved the roominess of the cabin! My daughter, nephew, and mother enjoyed the air hockey table. My brother had lots of fun with the arcade game. It was so nice to sit and enjoy the fire place and watch TV at night. It was a great spring getaway for our family of 7.

Road to the cabin was steep and had hair pin curves, not for the faint of heart. Location was gorgeous and view fantastic. Overall cabin was very nice and roomy. Game room was nice. Only half of jets worked on Jacuzzi! Windows all needed good cleaning as well as the dishwasher, it had an oder. Overall was a 4 out of 5 stars.

Our experience at this cabin was exceptional! The owner was so helpful with tips and responding to questions quickly. We were close enough to attractions but away from the hustle and bustle. The game room and the hot tub were family favorites. Can’t wait to visit again!!

Our vacation started with a power outage due to weather. However, our host did everything within her power to keep us abreast of the situation, and all the changes as they came with the restoration of power to the property. She was great! She walked us the process of getting in the property due to the power outage, and kept checking on us throughout the evening . She was absolutely wonderful! The property in and of itself was great for our large family… We had a party of 10, ages four month to 58. The host has thought of everything that you might need short term as well as long. The property is clean, well-stocked, and located just far enough away to feel relaxed and get the full experience of a wonderful vacation.

We absolutely loved our stay at Bear Bottom! It was beautiful and perfect for us. The adults enjoyed the hot tub and the kids enjoyed the game room! Mrs. Sherri was so sweet and answered any questions that I had. We will definitely be back and would recommend this cabin to everybody!

From the day we booked this property until check out, we had a wonderful experience. The cabin was perfect for our Christmas family getaway. The arctic front had arrived and the property manager went above and beyond to alert us of weather and deal with unexpected weather related issues. With extra cold temperatures, they had an extra heater and blankets delivered. Beyond the amazing customer service, the cabin was very clean and the location was great, being just far enough away from town away from the hustle and bustle, yet close enough to enjoy all the area has to offer. We would most definitely stay here again!

This cabin met all our needs!!! It was tucked in a perfect location away from the busy downtown but a short drive away. The basement was perfect for teens to unplug from electronics and enjoy some much needed family time. Sherri was very responsive to our needs as well!! Can’t wait for our next visit!!

Property is beautiful and wonderfully equipped! The 3 floors, each with its own bathroom and bedroom worked out great for our group. Each couple got their own space and the kids loved the arcade games and hot tub.

We had a great time at this property! The game space was excellent for our children (ages 3 and 6). They loved it! The house worked well for the size of our group and what we were after. A party of 10 might run out of kitchen space / table space. A few people have mentioned bugs (and I noticed it was addressed in a lot of listing for this area) but we did not have an issue during our stay.

We had such a great stay at this cabin! It was even more beautiful than the pictures. It was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed. It was a great location with marvelous views. We will definitely be staying there again! Thank you! We highly recommend this awesome cabin!

Really enjoyed dour stay. There were a couple of maintenance issues Sherri will be addressing for future guests and one of the beds didn’t have clean linens, although clean linens were on site. Nicely equipped, clean, lots of fun games for kids and adults. Definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful cabin! Sherri communicated with me multiple times during our trip and answered any questions I had. The cabin was beautiful and had everything we needed! My kids loved the game room and bunk beds downstairs! The toiletries were a wonderful touch along with the basket of towels for the hot tub! We cannot wait for our next trip back! Good set up for my family ( adult daughters and their partners). Better access to parking than many of the cabins in the area. The “kids” spent a lot of time in the game area and hot tub, and generally a good choice for our long weekend.
