We absolutely loved this cabin and all its amenities. Location was perfect and extremely clean and quiet.

I’ve stayed in a number of homes for vacation and business purposes, so, although no expert, I do have some experience staying at multiple locations and in multiple states. I know how difficult it can be to find just the right place to stay where everyone will be content. This home in Maggie Valley (Black Bear) had everything we needed to make my families stay very comfortable. We enjoyed ourselves immensely. First, the home owner was very pleasant and was very easy to work with. Second, the home itself was clean, roomy, and had plenty of comfortable beds and bathrooms for everyone. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed to make meals (bring your own food, of course). Bathrooms were well stocked with towels and TP (you don’t think to ask the question but some owners don’t provide anymore than what is on the current roll). We did not use the hot tub, but we noticed the owner left additional towels by the back door for those who would use the hot tub (this was very convenient and not something I’ve experienced before). Check-in/out was very simple. Also, I would like to thank the owner for having reasonable rules/requests and not the absurd list that others require. Asheville is about 35 minutes away and Gatlinburg is about an hour and 15 minutes away. If we stay in Maggie Valley in the future, it would be our privilege to stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay and were pleased with the accommodations. Our host was very gracious when two of our family members became ill one evening and they allowed us to have a late check out without any extra charge. This is an beautiful cabin that provided an escape for our family.

This was a great base camp for skiing at Cataloochee Ski Resort. We travelled as parts of 3 families to see how the kids would take to skiing. We were very comfortable in this coat cabin, and the hot tub was an added bonus at the end of a long ski day.

The house was great!

I was not familiar with VRBO and a bit concerned. The owners were excellent and responsive to our questions. Didn’t have to check in and out with a realtor for key. Enough leaves gone for view of nearby mountains. King beds with one on main floor. Very cozy and close to main road . Well decorated. We were told in advance there are many steps to the entrance so it was our decision. Highly recommend

We enjoyed our stay in Maggie Valley! The cabin was very clean and stocked with supplies such as k-cups. I couldn’t recommend this enough!

Loved our stay! Right in the middle of everything in Maggie valley! Can easily travel to Cherokee, Bryson city and even enjoy the parkway to Gatlinburg and Pigeon forge! Highly recommend!

We enjoyed the property, along with Maggie Valley, Stompin Grounds (only Saturday night 8-11pm), Motorcycle museum, Smoky Mountain park, Gatlinburg, Lake Fontana, Pigeon river rafting (though I would do the longer and somewhat rougher Chatooga trip for next time....), Cherikee village, and lots more. The hosts were very responsive, and helped us have a great vacation. Thank you!

Would definitely recommend very beautiful cabin

We booked this place last minute after our original house fell through. The owner was very responsive and sent us all the information we needed ahead of time. It was perfect size for 4 adults, two teenagers, and two kids. They loved the hot tub and we loved playing cards on covered back deck. It was nice to have a bathroom and shower on each level of the house. The house is very easy to get to and close to restaurants. House was very clean with lots of towels, fully stocked kitchen, and plenty of bedding for all beds! There is a creek close so we could hear waterfalls as we sat on back deck. There are quite a few steps to get from parking area to cabin door, so if you someone in your party who has limited mobility, this could cause an issue. We really enjoyed this cabin!

I’ve rented cabins in all areas of the NC mountains, I have never been to one as clean and comfortable as this cabin. Bedding and towels are top quality, housekeeping was spotless, you can’t even find a cobweb in the house anywhere, which is very rare with a cabin in the woods. Tania the owner was very kind to have left us a very thoughtful treat, and assured us if anything was needed to contact her. No need everything was perfect

This is a very comfortable property for a large family or multiple families wanting to stay together. The three floors provided each family unit with privacy and allowed both young children and teenagers who had different sleep schedules to rest peacefully. Having multiple outdoor spaces also contributed to a comfortable and spacious environment. The furnishings were tasteful and also comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked. The location provided easy access to many activities.

We had a great time with family. This cabin is perfect for a few people or 12. I would stay there again and recommend it.

Three families joined together for the first time and rented this beautiful cabin. Perfect layout for us! Bedroom and bath on 3 separate floors that afforded privacy for each. Kitchen was the best furnished I've seen in all our years of renting cabins. Living area and back porch allowed us to gather and enjoy time together.

The cabin was the perfect size for celebrating my Mom’s 65th birthday! The owners were always kind and responsive. The cabin was clean and well taken care of and stocked with everything we needed! We would recommend this cabin for your next getaway!
