Great location - walkable to great restaurants and about 20 min walk to Gtown Univ campus. We were in town for graduation and had everything we needed. Very comfy beds. Communication with local managerial staff could have been better as smoke alarm beeping due to low battery, which they said someone would replace but didn’t happen, so had to dismantle during our stay. Other than that minor issue - was great stay!

I cannot strongly enough NOT RECOMMEND this or any Sonder location. What a scam. Sonder overcharged me by hundreds of dollars, and refuses to give me anything other than form letter responses saying nothing. I was quoted and agreed to pay one amount, but they overchanged my credit card, and I can't get a human to actually read and respond to what I'm saying. They simply send me the same canned responses. The evidence of the quote and payment are right there in the app, but they are making up new numbers (which still don't match what I paid). I have contacted VRBO directly but that is a long and arduous process that I'm having to go through, and I don't know how or if they will ever force Sonder to fix the problem.

After “reservation confirmed” by VRBO, Sonder canceled my reservation without notifying me! I was put in the position of having to find a place within 9 hours of my arrival in DC, with no help from Sonder. VRBO did refund me my service fee, and my trip protection insurance was also refunded. I will not trust Sonder property management in the future. Beware if you book one of their properties!

We were misled with currency & “all additional” fees which were only disclosed after I paid. “Admin” fees were charged immediately which was not disclosed at time of confirmation. We cancelled immediately. And are now disputing the admin charges.

Customer Service was great the first night when we requested sheets and bedding that were missing for the pull-out sofa. The next call to customer service was because the outlet in the master bathroom never worked and then the lights stopped working as well. They did not fix it during our stay. The location is good. I wish it were closer to Foggy Bottom Train Station but it was within doable walking distance. Georgetown is AWESOME! The kitchen supplies were limited. It felt more like a hotel than a VRBO but without the daily cleaning service. The check-out was great because they take out the garbage and remove the linens. We also saw several ants in the unit. The walls are thin so they provide sound machines but I could hear the next door renters as if they were in our bedroom. The kitchen was too small for the size of our group. We would not come here again but I think it is a good deal for the location.

The location is in the heart of Georgetown. A short walk to restaurants and cafes. And easy access to the rest of the DC metro area. The apartment was clean, comfortable, secure, and the courtesy items (Wi-Fi, kitchen supplies, etc) were generous. If you drive, and need to park your car, set your GPS to Colonial Parking, not the address of the unit. It’s the same building, with elevator access in the garage but the garage entrance is on the other side of the building from the pedestrian entrance. The garage has limited attendant hours, especially on weekends, but is reasonably priced for DC. We parked our car for the duration and used rideshare anytime we needed to get around. We would definitely stay here again.

Our property was easy to access, extremely clean, and made for a wonderful weekend with my family. Because we chose a Sonder suite we had plenty of common area and private area for 5 people ages 17-adult.
