The location was the best thing for this place. The breakfast was also ok .
The staff (front desk only) were so aggressive and did not really care and facility was old. The staff really make you feel not welcome, and I was wondering why. Even being polite with them doesnt make it better. The rating should be much lower what it got now.
The room was spacious but the kitchen ware were not good and they lack some simple things like paper towel, scrub ....
The place should be okay if you expect a fair service but far from good or great.

LOCATION TO THE METRO WAS GREAT. BREAKFAST WAS GOOD. ROOM WITH A KITCHEN AND ACCESS TO LAUNDRY FACILITIES IS ALWAYS WHAT I LOOK FOR.
THE ROOM COULD HAVE BEEN CLEANER. THE WARMTH OF THE ROOM WAS A BIT OF AN ISSUE A COUPLE NIGHTS--COLD AND NO ACCESS TO MAKE IT WARMER

Mi habitación en el kitchen tenía un cajón que estaba sucio ,, pero las cosas que estaban en ese cajón no las toqué el resto todo muy bien y ordenado

Sehr großes Zimmer mit Küche, Mikrowelle, Kaffeemaschine, Kühlschrank und Spülmaschine sowie Tisch und Stühlen. Frühstück für amerikanische Hotels eher gut. National Mall kann man bei entsprechender Fitness zu Fuß erreichen.
Ziemlich altbacken und abgewohnt. Direkt an der Straße und entsprechend laut. Geschirr und Stühle nur für 3 Personen. Frühstück nur bis 9. Entsprechend großer Andrang kurz vor 9 mit sehr langer Schlange. Fußweg zur U-Bahn bzw. Bus ca. 10 Minuten.

I like the breakfast, the gym, the spacious rooms and the nice kitchen. There were 2 bathrooms which is pretty cool!
I would expect a little more explanation on the location of the breakfast and gym during the check in. Knowing where are the 2 parking areas would also help.

Room size, location, balcony, friendly staff, bed and pillows were very comfortable
The hotel is very dated and tired. There are stains on various surfaces, chipped tiles in the bathroom, missing parts of plumbing fixtures, and the room lighting was very dim.

Elevator was not working and had to lift all my luggage and walk over the steps. Three elevator available but two were out of order and the third one went out of service as well

The rooms were spacious and comfortable with a full size fridge, stovetop, microwave, dinnerware, silverware, and pots and pans. There was a hot and cold breakfast served every morning. The hotel is an easy two block walk from the metro so you could be in DC in less than 30 minutes.. There were plenty of restaurants and activities in the area.
Traveling with young kids, a pool would have been delightful. . Maybe a local map of nearby restaurants and activities.

The rooms are spacious and have enough accessories to stay there for at least a week. Breakfast is pretty average. The location is good. Close to downtown Arlington and not too far from the central area in DC.
However, some of the furniture is quite old and the air conditioning system is noisy at night.
Breakfast: There are no great healthy options. I liked that the eggs were fresh, but I missed some cheese.

Enough space in the room, a well-equipped kitchenette in the room, very good breakfasts, an amazing playground within walking distance from the hotel - a must go for families with children.
A bored receptionist, I had a strong feeling that I was bothering her. Breakfasts ending at 9 AM - an extension through 10 AM, at least during weekends, would look better.

My colleague referred me and I loved it. Berry is amazing and such a great help always. Over all the experience was great and I do refer it to others. Would definitely stay there again. Your shuttle service to FSI is amazing. Thank you
Honestly I should highlight that Susan at the front desk (she's the older lady) needs to be a more guest friendly. I had a concern and she was rude and not helpful which was not nice. I even reported this to the manager.

My experience at Clarion could be defined extremely positive if it was’t for the lobby employees. Extremely rude and unkind, this will be the only reason for me to chose another structure in my next DC visit.

Breakfast and location
They changed us twice for room and deposit, our room was 135$ + 15$ for parking and they charged us a total of 135*2+116*2=502$ for one night. Currently we still didn't get the money back and they didn't print us a receipt when we left so this was a rip off. I just hope we can dispute the 352$ extra they charged us.
I suggest you to pay cash and never show them a credit card!
