My wife and I along with our little pet dog immensely enjoyed a 7 night stay at Tuckaway Cabin . Our first impression was it’s warms , inviting, outside appearance . Going inside our first thought was of it’s cleanliness and well-stocked amenities !! Two decks , well stocked kitchen , comfortable furniture , ample chairs for inside and outside seating , central heat and air for year round comfort , and very comfortable beds for sleeping . This cabin lacks absolutely nothing . We were especially thrilled with the kindness and helpful information that the owner gave to us both by phone and by text messages that made our stay so all the more meaningful and enjoyable . Lastly we greatly enjoyed the close proximity of this cabin to so many very must see sightseeing sights ! We loved our stay at Tuckaway and have already rebooked it for an 8 night stay in the Fall !! Don’t overlook this beautiful cabin and it’s lovely setting for your next trip to the Cashiers area !! It will not disappoint !!

Sarah’s cottage is tucked away in a quiet, lush and beautiful location with great amenities, beautiful gardens and walks right outside the door, and just minutes to everything you need in town. She is very knowledgeable and responsive, and her place is immaculate. Can’t wait to rent again!!!

I loved staying here. It was the perfect size and the two porches were lovely. The steps were a little difficult for my 73 yr old bones, but I loved everything about the place. Very convenient location and very clean and tidy. Can't wait to go back again.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay so much! We loved the convenience of the location yet it was also peaceful and private. One of the best VRBOs we have stayed in. Sarah had all the details covered . Starbucks Coffee., and snacks welcomed us. The master bed was so comfortable! Loved the fire pit, swing and enjoyed the sounds of birds and nearby waterfall! Great getaway!

Such a cute little place to stay. Great outside front & back patio to just relaxing or a place to read. .07 walking distance to main road that we walked daily, other hiking around area. Road to get into place is a single 1 lane dirt curving road that is another car comes in another direction I don’t no what you’d do. Sara was great to work with& would stay again. Beautiful, CLEAN, & charming. No barking dogs while we stayed there a week. Love Cashiers!

Great place to come to get away and relax. Nice, cute cozy clean cabin nestled in the mountain woods. Nice trails to walk and gardens to see nearby and the town is very close by to get your essentials and food. The owner (Sarah) does a great job with stocking the place with products for you and she was always quick to get back to us when we had a question. We stayed for 10 days, and it was just what we were looking for.... Peace and quiet and relaxing. We would definitely return here if we were to visit this area again. Great experience except for minor problems with a dog next door that is not properly looked after Not owners fault but could have been warned Nice cabin and owner, great location!

The cabin was very clean and decorated very nicely. The bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed our getaway in the mountains of NC. The only thing about our stay that was very annoying was the neighbor dog next door which we had to escort home more than once. The owner of the dog was less than pleasant and kept repeating that “they” need to let us know that’s an outside dog… (and free to roam) that kept annoying our dogs and jumping on us every time we were outdoors. Other than that everything about the location and the cabin was perfect!

I love the area and spending time in a great location and in a clean and private cabin makes it even better! Thanks for a great stay.

This cozy house was extremely clean and had everything that we would need, including being generously stocked with name brand products (my spouse was particularly impressed by the diffuser sticks). The location is great, being a short walk from the middle of town yet with the vibe and scenery of a mountain cabin. The owner Sarah is great, and gave us a couple excellent suggestions for short hikes from the front door to a nearby flower garden and waterfall. In short, we had a great time, won't hesitate to come back, and recommend this nice place.

Cute cabin perfect for a getaway for my husband and I. Immaculate inside and comfortable furnishings. The bed and linens were extremely comfortable after long days hiking! Nicely set up areas outside for relaxing or napping in the hammock. The owner was lovely and at her suggestion we visited the garden across the street and waterfall as well. The garden was breathtaking and truly awe inspiring!

We enjoyed the location , quiet when you needed it but close to the action. Marina is very close and Lake Glenville is beautiful.

We wish we could have stayed longer. If I cold give it a higher star rating for cleanliness, I would. This cottage should be in the show, Instant Hotel, as it would have a great chance of winning the competition. It hit every mark that the judges score on. Bed, perfect, we slept in late three of the days because it was so comfortable and quiet outside. It's the kind of place where you feel relaxed as soon as you get there and then enjoy the relaxed feeling so much that after you are out exploring all day, you can't wait to get back to the cottage. We are already looking to book our next stay here. If you are looking for a place to really unwind and be secluded, but want to be 3 minutes from the center of town...stay here! A jewel in the woods.

Great cabin for 3! Comfortable cabin with modern amenities like wifi, dishwasher, tv. Quiet area with restaurants, shops and hikes only a short drive away (some even walking distance). Note: the road to the cabin is gravel and narrow and has short steep sections. It was no problem with a small SUV. Communication with the owner was great!
