Our children and grandchildren chose a family vacation over Christmas presents, and it was the best decision. The three levels provided room for all family units to have their own personal space. Our son, wife, and four boys enjoyed the spacious basement; with the pool table and arcade game. Our daughter and her husband enjoyed the upper level to escape 4 rambunctious boys. The kitchen was fully stocked to prepare evening meals, and we thoroughly enjoyed the fireplace every night. The cabin is perfectly located if you choose to visit Helen, Dahlonega, or Buford. We will definitely be revisiting in the future.

We arrived on Thursday and when we woke up on Friday morning we had no heat on the bottom floor. My husband called them and they came to check the heat and their solution to help us was to bring two small electric heaters and the temperatures were in the low 20’s. We froze the whole time we were there. The top floor had so much wind blowing in those windows that they were cold too so they got one heater and we were on the bottom level with one small heater. The doors are so hard to close in the house. The cabin is so beautiful and this is our annual family trip with our children and grandchildren so we were really looking forward to this trip all year. And if you are planning on renting this cabin bring towels because you get one per adult for the whole stay.

This house is perfect for a large group. Big enough to feel like everyone has their own space. The cover hot tub was amazing in the rain. Make sure to bring extra paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, and dish soap-only a limited amount are provided. I would definitely book this house again. The fire place and Christmas decor made it feel very cozy.

The house was very pretty but the home was not clean. The floors were filthy and the toilets were not clean. The deck was not swept and leaves were a foot deep. There was not enough towels. Also, the kitchen was not stocked with enough pots and pans and limited cooking utensils. There were only 2 plastic wine glasses. The home could be great with a little more cleaning and TLC.

This Cabin was absolutely PERFECT for a 6 adults and 3 teens Thanksgiving getaway, everyone had their own space, we had ample room and supplies to make and serve a beautiful Thanksgiving feast. Everyone enjoyed making s'mores by the awesome outdoor fire pit, we all stayed cozy warm by the indoor fireplace, and thoroughly enjoyed the spacious hot tub. We all had so much fun competing / playing pool and video games in the lower level game room. We enjoyed our day in Helen, the mountain rollercoaster was a blast and the Christmas lights were beautiful. The boys went trout fishing and then the adults spent a 1/2 day visiting the local Vineyards, doing maybe a few to many wine tastings, then returning to our mountain retreat to grill steaks on the outdoor grill and enjoying our last night of s'mores and hot tub before sadly having to pack up for our trip back to reality. The Best part of this vacation was having our kids and grandkids under one roof, and what a beautiful one in was. We can't wait to return for round two with our family to this beautiful cabin.

Our first time coming to a cabin and it was great a family vacation we enjoyed we especially enjoyed the fire pit roasting hotdogs and telling ghost stories 👻 it was perfect ...right on Halloween ...my kids did a pool tournament while i relaxed and enjoyed the peace and quiet...the cabin was spacious and very nice and one day we will return...

We had a wonderful time together. The cabin was spacious and loved the windows. Having owned a rental cabin in Blue Ridge for 10 years, we found your cabin lacking some things. It was not as clean as we expected. Very far from activities in Helen. Need a blanket in each bedroom. Stove was filthy. Barbecue pit emptied ashes as soon as it was opened. Garbage can was full of un bagged trash.Pool cues need to be replaced....no tips on most of them. A hair dryer downstairs would be nice. The decor could have felt homier with added items of local interest. We did not want to write in your book as these simple things can be fixed and we did not want your renters to see negativity. This is for managers/owners eyes only.

Very spacious and the perfect space for a mountain getaway!

Had a lovely holiday and birthday celebration here. Plenty of room for everyone in our groups of 7.

The cabin that we stayed in was 3 levels (including basement). There are 2 large showers in the home and a tub/shower. The jacuzzi was nice to get in after walking/hiking. We brushed up on our pool skills in the basement game room. Everything that was posted on line was exactly what you get. There were enough supplies for us to enjoy the stay without running out of the provided items (clean towels, soap, dish soap, etc). Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate with us much on this trip so we are thankful that we picked a place with a pool table and jacuzzi. We also discovered that there was a Walmart only 15 min away. Very convenient. Helen, GA was about a 30 min drive. We spent a day there shopping and having lunch. Great visit and would have been even better with nice weather.

This home was everything promised and more. The directions were spelled out, this is a nicely remote location. The home was clean and stocked as anticipated. Plenty of outside sitting areas too!

The cabin was as described. Check-in was easy and cabin was clean. We enjoyed all the amenities. Would definitely return to this cabin. Great for a big family!

The house and property are picture perfect. There was even a beautiful Christmas tree in the great room. Extremely comfortable with many amenities and close to the wedding venue Meadows at Mossy Creek.

My family had a wonderful stay at Oak Hill. This is our second time visiting this property. We will make this a tradition to come and visit here in Cleveland. The cabin was very well kept and everything in place. The kids enjoyed the new video game in the game room. We always enjoy the pool table. Lets not leave out the beautiful Christmas tree. Oak Hill cabin did not disappoint! The cabin was large enough to host 3 generations, family of 12. We had all we needed in the kitchen to make family meals. Beef stew, chili and chicken n dumplings. Beds were very comfortable, rooms great size. Enjoyed Helen, Cleveland and Dahlonega. We shopped, hiked and much more. Look forward to returning again soon. Excellent cabin!!

Great Relaxing and Private Cabin, Lots of up to date Amenities

We enjoyed our stay very much! Plenty of room for 10 guests. The drive through the neighborhood was a little rough as there are lots of potholes but other than that everything was excellent! We plan to stay again next year.

Oak Hill was a great cabin with a lot of space for our family to spread out and enjoy our time together. It is private and very comfortable. Love our visit and would stay again.

The check in process was easy. This is a nice cabin. The bathrooms were very clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. My only complaint was that the dishwasher was broken and the housekeeping crew needs to be more thorough cleaning the kitchen/livingroom floors. Oh....and what was up with the fans on the basement switching on and off randomly as well as the unexplained knocking noises. Loved the cabin and enjoyed our stay.

My family all met up in North Georgia for a reunion last week. We love to get together at different locations and live under the same roof for a few days every year. This lodge/cabin was a perfect location for us. There are so many king size beds, we had more sleeping options than we have ever found for this price! There is a lot to do in the area. We went into Helen for shopping and restaurants, canoed, and hiked waterfall trails. I would highly recommend this location and this property. It did not have a great mountain view but we felt like we were in a treehouse surrounded by a beautiful natural setting. The cabin is well equipped and clean.

We had a great time staying at Oak Hill. The beds were comfortable, and it could sleep many people. We enjoyed the pool table. The dishwasher would not wash the dishes clean enough, so we ended up having to wash them by hand. It was an easy drive to Helen and some wineries.

Great place to stay, relax, and get ready for a wedding ( Cenita Vineyard is only 15 minutes a way). Easy to find, direction from Waze and Google Maps were spot on... Well mark sign indicating the address. Plenty of parking with room for a couple full size trucks and a few cars. Clean spacious cabin with everything you need, but bring extra paper towels and toilet paper... and of course, your food and drinks. Plenty of cooking utensils and plates/silverware. Don't forget your swimsuit for soaking in the crystal clear and clean hot tub. You'll need a pair of walking shoes for the trail that follows the stream that flows just behind the cabin. Enjoy morning coffee while you're sitting on the deck and an afternoon cool drink while you're lounging on the glider waiting for you on the balcony off the upstairs bedroom. Relax playing a game of pool downstairs. Check in is a breeze. Check out is just as simple to do but after a few days staying in this beautiful cabin, making the call was hard to do. We look forward to our next stay.
