The property is exactly as described and the owners were great sharing information on local rentals, etc. This was a girls trip to the beach for 6 of us and there was plenty of room. Steps from the beach and beautiful views! This has been the best time at the Blue Pelican and we hated to return to reality! Definitely recommend if you are looking for a property right on the beach. It was clean, lots of kitchen supplies (even found a shrimp boil pot), and the deck is great.

The location was directly on the beach and just a few minutes from all the main attraction in the area! The house was clean, had most of the essential items needed to relax and enjoy a vacation!

We took a group of friends down for our wedding and everything was amazing, the house is perfect. I was able to contact the owners very easy with any help I needed. Being so close to the beach makes for short luggage carries.

The patio is amazing and so close to the beach. Love the outdoor patio furniture. The upstairs bedrooms/bathrooms were great. Kitchen was awesome along with kitchen seating. Downstairs bedroom/bath rather cramped. The owners need to improve the fruit fly and cockroach situation. Other than the buggy issues the place is fabulous. We would stay again and tell others about this wonderful location!

This is by far one of the best locations I've ever had for a beach rental. The house is exactly as it's described and pictured on VRBO. The owner Pat, was a perfect host and a great help from before renting and checking out. Beds are comfortable, furnishings are in good shape, beach is steps (literally) away from a fabulous deck with plenty of chairs on it. I almost hate to say how great it was because I want it to be available for me next year!! There were 6 sisters on our trip and we had the prefect house for us with 3 full bathrooms! Thanks again Pat for all your "special" help! We will be back next year for sure!

The house was perfect for our family. Comfortable, clean and inviting. Proximity to the ocean, making it our backyard, was fantastic. Kids rarely left the beach or the water. Surrounding area had more than enough to do but the ocean and beach providing the most benefit. The comfortable home made it all even better. Hosts provided us some great feedback on local to dos and were very accommodating. We would absolutely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay. The views are priceless and the property was amazing... plenty of room for our family of six. Easy access to everything around the area. We would definitely stay again.

We had a great stay. The beach is beautiful! There is a great view from the deck and it is just a few steps away from the beach. The house was clean and we had everything we needed. It is just a short drive to restaurants and activities. Communication was great and we had no problems with check in or check out. We hope to stay again!

I just want to say how wonderful it was to stay here. Such a great deck and so close to the shoreline. I didn’t want to leave. We will definitely stay here again!

Blue Pelican was a great property and location for our family get together.

The property was very clean and as pictured. Check-in was as instructed. We informed the property owner of a hazardous loose step on the deck, and they responded promptly with maintenance repairing within 24 hours. Our group of 8 adults thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the house and beach!

There was plenty of dishes and silverware plenty of places to sleep One of even slept in a hammock under the deck it was so peaceful . The only problem we had was the decking had nails coming out of it and one person with us snagged his foot on one and got a pretty bad cut . There are some boards coming up on the back steps and some that needs to be replaced on back deck . Other than that we had a really great time with the family

Easiest vacation rental experience we’ve ever had.

Beautiful house and great location. Walmart was minutes away to purchase everything we needed. The house is very close to other convenient stores and restaurants. The location of the house seems to be a very popular area. Plenty of space for our family which consisted of four adults, three teenagers and two kids (ages eight and twelve). The three bed and bathrooms were very spacious, plus there were two hideaway beds in the living area. The beach views were wonderful! A few steps and we were on the beach! No hiking! Lol! FYI, the beachfront area is not private property to the house. So, first come first serve to pick your perfect spot to have your beach day fun. There were other people that were staying nearby that were out setting up their spots as early as 6:00am! The patio/ desk area was very nice but we could had benefited from some type of shading from the hot sun without having to retreat to the lower desk where we couldn't see the beach and water properly. Also, we wish that there had been sliding patio doors along with windows that open to enjoy the sounds of the ocean. There were only had a couple hiccups. First we couldn't access the property due to not receiving the access information from the host prior to arrival. After sending messages and calling, the host finally responded shortly after 6pm (check in time- 4pm) . The host called me directly, she was nice and apologized and offered compensation for the inconvenience. Another hiccup, is that we could not use the washer to wash our clothes during our stay. We noticed the washer was leaning severely as if it was missing the back leg. I contacted the host, she did offered to send out a maintenance person to check it out along with the sticking patio door that Monday, however we were scheduled to check out Monday. Overall, this was Beautiful house, plenty of room for the family and the location was great!

We had a wonderful stay at the Blue Pelican House! We had several friends who stayed in nearby properties, but all would migrate over to the beach at our place. We loved having the beach at our footsteps, and the deck over looking the gulf was the perfect spot to keep an eye on all the kids. The kitchen was well stocked and the house was perfect. This was our first time to Gulf Shores, after many trips to Destin and Panama City. We felt more relaxed in Gulf shores, and the traffic was not an issue, as opposed to our prior Florida beach vacations. We will come back!
