We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Rapid City, South Dakota! We could not have found a better, more spacious house to “land” after hiking and sightseeing all day! We loved seeing the deer each morning and night laying around the yard. We all enjoyed the Christian based theme and prayer tree. It felt like home away from home!

The house worked great for the four of us. Everything was clean and shipshape on our arrival. We were pleasantly surprised to find it had WiFi service although the property description we originally saw specifically said “no” WiFi. We found the television service to be difficult to use. Location for our Black Hills excursions was excellent. All in all very pleased with our rental experience.

This beautiful place was convenient to all the major local attractions like Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Deadwood, Custer State Park, Keystone, and Rapid City. But it was also separate enough to enjoy the country and space. There were deer in the yard nearly every day!

We had a great time staying at the rental. It was beautiful and being able to play outdoors with the kids was great. The yard was big enough to play sports with the family after a day of sightseeing. Deer was all around and the kids loved watching them. Such a beautiful place and lots of adventures.

This was a wonderful place to spend our vacation! The vacation home was clean, comfortable, homey, nicely furnished and well equipped. the location is great, easy to find, and in a nice neighborhood. We especially enjoyed seeing the deer in the yard each day! The owner left a book with the history of the house which was very interesting, and the details they left for using the house were quite informative. The home is situated in an area that makes it easy to reach stores & restaurants as well as surrounding parks and other sites of interest. We came to South Dakota specifically to go to national and state parks and see as much wildlife and scenery as we could. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, and feel it’s the best vacation rental home we have ever stayed in. We would have loved to just stay there all summer! We would definitely recommend it.

Great location for touring Mount Rushmore, Custer Park and the scenic highways. Home was very clean and just as described.

This is one of the best places we have rented. The house is centrally located to so many sites. Very well equipped and very clean, we didn’t need a thing. Quite neighborhood with deer visitors every day. Wonderful deck to enjoy some quiet time after a day of activities. Highly recommend this house if you are visiting the sites and attractions around Rapid City!

We were visiting for state basketball tournament in rapid. This was a great location for a large group that was close to rapid but also close to other tourist attractions. It’s a great space and had most things we needed. We did have to communicate with the office once and they were very kind and very helpful.

I would highly recommend this home. Clean with a cabin feel and lots of room. Location is great. You feel far away but yet close to town. Wildlife is abundant!

This house was perfect for my family. Upstairs and downstairs made it so the kids had somewhere to play where the parents didn't have to hear them. House came with many amenities that were great for a family staying with Littles including a high chair, play pen, toys it was a nice surprise. Owners were super sweet and helpful! By far one of our favorite vacation houses.

This property was very nice. It had even more amenities than listed. There was deer in the yard most of the time, which was fun to watch. Would definitely use again if in the area.

We enjoyed the sectional, it was great for conversation. And the deck was also really nice especially when the deer would wander through the yard.

Three couples were attending a two-day anniversary celebration. This beautiful house with three bedrooms and three bathrooms worked perfectly. Spacious rooms and a great deck, very nicely furnished. All necessary amenities, and more, were provided. Nearly every time we looked out a window, we saw deer. Very nice, quiet neighborhood in a rural setting yet so close to the city and the tourist attractions to the south of Rapid City.

I stayed 3 nights with my wife, 3 kids, and mom and we had a wonderful stay. The house had plenty of space for us all to spread out and relax and the bunk beds and kids toys on the lower level were a bonus. We especially enjoyed sitting out on the deck, enjoying the quiet, and watching the many deer that frequent the area. Close to Rapid City and Mount Rushmore, but enough off the beaten path to feel special. Would definitely stay here again if we came back to Rapid City.

This property is situated in the Black Hills. While it is in a neighborhood, there is plenty of wildlife around and they are friendly. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. The property itself has plenty of room for yard games and such. The house is furnished well with plenty of gathering spaces. A very nice place to get together with friends and family.

We enjoyed our time at Whispering Grace. It’s close to many attractions. Comfy beds, nice dining area for large group and great sectional sofa in the great room. Thanks for a relaxing stay!

We stayed here as a homebase for our Black Hills adventures. Great location for planning different activities. Very quiet and peaceful.

It is not handicapped accessible and main living area is upstairs. The house is a bit outdated but was clean and quiet. Deer in the yard every day which were fun to watch. The heating and cooling system was somewhat confusing and frustrating. We enjoyed being close to Bear Country USA and reptile gardens and within an hour from Mount Rushmore and Custer state park.

We loved the location -- very close to stores, etc yet in a neighborhood with very large lots where you could feel like you were in the black hills. We had many deer in our yard just wandering by the kitchen window. We enjoyed the large kitchen table for large family meals and the giant sectional in the front room for lounging and watching TV together.

Nice quiet place to stay. We enjoyed watching the deer every day. We visited Badlands National Park.

The house was very nice.

Comfortable home for a group of 7, with enough space for everyone. We appreciated being able to use the garage. There are many stairs, though this wasn't a concern for us. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

We were a little disappointed with the home not having handicap accessibility. My mother had to drive her scooter through the yard to get to the entrance with the least amount if steps, and flipped it over, very scary. She didn't get hurt, luckily. Other than that incident it was very nice.

This home is in a quiet neighborhood, but well located for visiting Mt Rushmore and the other fun Rapid City/Black Hills attractions. It was very clean, and had the traditional Midwest hospitality that some rentals lack—there were personal touches here and there like toys in the basement and the metal tumblers that made me feel like I was arriving at grandmas for a weekend visit. (This was intensified by the dining set, which looked identical to my actual grandmother’s, which I particularly liked.) The house was comfy, like it had been a house with happy memories at one point. Thanks for having us. One last thing, we have been staying in vacation rentals a few times a year for over a decade and I’ve never done this-I reserved it for the wrong dates, I was off by a day and didn’t realize it until the day before when we were due to arrive from another state on our way home. I thought we would have to get a hotel for a night, but I took a change and called the property manager and they just moved the reservation. No fuss, no fee, no argument. just helped me out. Since the property was open, they let me come a day early and leave a day early. That’s the Midwest for you!

need to upgrade your cable tv. after a hard day of sightseeing, many renters like to relax and watch tv. the cable system is very difficult to work. when finally accessed the selections of channels were miserable. no fox no sports no abc, nbc. just so much keloland can be watched!!

Loved the house. Great location. Deer every morning and evening for the grandkids to watch. Was an excellent location to Mt Rushmore and all surrounding areas

This property allows you to let your rambunctious little ones have a space all to themselves. Enjoy the deer that come right up to the house too!
