The home is beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean. The kitchen and bathrooms are well stocked. We cooked several meals at home and found all the cookware and spices we needed. There didn't seem to be river access, but there was a lovely view of the water. The location is 15-25 minutes to most Nashville tourist activities. Highly recommend the Zoo!

The Cabin on the Cumberland was ideal for our entire family. We were able to all be together in the comfort and natural beauty of the riverside cabin. It’s location close to Nashville but not in the bustle of the city was extremely relaxing. I wish we could have stayed longer!

My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Cabin. It was clean, had plenty of space, and offered all the amenities (and then some) that you need. The decor throughout gave it a very inviting feel. Monica and Rubin were awesome and the perfect host!! They were both very welcoming and helpful in answering any questions and offering advice (especially with trying to figure out Uber since I had never used it before). The location was perfect for visiting the Grand Ole Opry and downtown to Broadway. The patio was very relaxing, with a beautiful view of the river, and just a great place to hang out with the family, listen to music, and cook on the grill. The most relaxed I have felt in over a year!! Will definitely book another stay if I come back to Nashville. I can only give it 5 stars on here, but to me it was a 5+++.

This was our first time renting with vrbo and we were a little worried, but Monica and the Cabin were wonderful! There was nothing to worry about at all. Everything was clean. The cat and chicken (both outside) were more than welcoming. The view on the river was gorgeous. We got visited by several cardinals, blue jays, wrens, herons, and bald eagles. Very close to the Grand Ole Opry, too!

This property was just as described with all the amenities you would need. Monica and Rueben are gracious hosts and fun to visit with. It’s close enough to Nashville to use Uber or taxi. We stayed 5 nights. Also if I were a chicken, I’d want to live in their chicken coop. Lol If you’re ever in our area, look us up!!

We decided to spend Christmas in Nashville this year and rented this cabin. We've done at least a dozen VRBO rentals over the years, and this one was by far the most beautiful and well-equipped rental we've had. When our host Monica let us know she had the cabin decorated for Christmas, it was an understatement. The place was gorgeous inside and out. As luck would have it, the Arctic Blast happened during our stay, and much of Nashville lost power during sub-zero temps. Our cabin had intermittent power for about 24 hours, and little to no heat. Monica and Ruben were amazingly helpful and responsive during this mini-crisis. They arranged to for us to get access to space heaters for when the power was running; they let us use A TON of their firewood in the wood stoves; and they were just impressively hustling from afar to make sure we were as comfortable as possible considering the circumstances. We could not have asked for more. With the power and heat restored, we had an amazing Christmas at the cabin. Its location is amazing -- a quiet street but only ten minutes from downtown Nashville as well as the airport. We would give it six stars if that were an option!

We take time every year during the Thanksgiving week to go to Nashville and spend a few days. Your place was perfect for our Family. We really enjoyed they place, thanks for sharing.

A friend and I stayed here during a perfect stretch of weather in Nashville. This allowed us to take full advantage of the cabin's unique and scenic patio complete with river view and fire pit. So, so pleasant to sit outside there. The interior of the cabin had so many interesting touches. Monica and Ruben were welcoming and gracious hosts!

What you are about to read will not fully convey what an absolute amazing experience we had at The Cabin on the Cumberland. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with the most amazing host family we have ever experienced! Ruben provided great history of the cabin and the area and Monica was always quick to respond to every text or call! But their hospitality did not end there. They joined our crazy family and regaled us with the most amazing stories as lives of musicians! One night we spent hours naming car makes/models from movies! Now as for the Cabin, it is so cool! Ruben and Monica have provided every kitchen gadget that you could ever need. They also provided entertainment in the way of a puzzle (which we completed) to basketball hoop and great patio complete with fire pit! And to wrap it all up, we were able to interact with the best chickens and cutest dog, Julio!! All 6 of us would highly recommend staying here! The house really speaks for itself but the hosts put it over the top!!!

Our family truly enjoyed our time at the cabin! The kids love playing basketball, along with feeding and chasing the very quiet chickens. We loved the quaint and eclectic feeling and sitting on the patio watching the river run pass was so beautiful. We would definitely recommend this special place to anyone just wanting to relax for a few days or while visiting Nashville.

This cabin is absolutely gorgeous! So much memorabilia, rustic charm and perfect for our family. Everything is 15 minutes away, yet the cabin is peaceful and quiet. Our 8 year old really loved to play with the chickens! The host were exceptional and made sure we had everything we needed for the duration of our trip. We created beautiful memories on this trip and would highly recommend this cabin!

We had a wonderful time. The location to everything was what we wanted out a little but within thirty minutes of downtown Nashville. It was completely beautiful

We had a nice stay. There were not many amenities super close by, but it didn’t hamper our enjoyment. The only improvements we can see would be to offer washcloths (maybe we missed them) and to clean off the outside furniture. Thank you for having a great place to land while we explored the city.
