This is a beautiful property that has not been well-tended for seemingly some time. A party we read about online who stayed in December complained about the dirtiness of the house, and the response from management online was a thank you and a promise to look into it/take care of it. This was clearly lip-service as it was terribly dirty and bug-ridden, with thick long-standing dirt when we arrived. Dishes and kitchen drawers were filthy and needed a washing and wiping of all by us, the guests, before being used. Floors were dirty and paper, kleenexes, etc. were behind furniture. Bathrooms seemed newer (possibly more recently renovated since the last hurricane) and were better than the common areas. There was a musty smell in the house, especially downstairs and in one of the closets (water/mildew in walls since storm?). Fans were caked with dust and stoppers were missing from drains. The oven was the worst. A dryer door was busted. I could go on. Cleaning fees and required liability waivers seem to have no meaning. The property manager was fair and communicative in the second half of our stay and finally was able to help us ... unfortunately too little too late for Vacasa and VRBO. All was very disappointing for a long-anticipated special reunion trip among old friends.

Loved the open design and the huge deck with a beautiful view. The cleaning crew needs some work, the floors were very dusty and dirty. Overall enjoyed our stay and it worked great for us.

We loved everything about this house. The open concept allowed our large family to hang out and still have plenty of space.

Location was great

The layout of the home is perfect for a large family; however, the cleaning staff should be replaced. The garbage in the kitchen had not been emptied and smelled awful. The baseboards were filthy, ants on the lower level, the kitchen drawers were dirty. The house also has maintenance issues that should be addressed; the shower door on main level would not stay closed, there was a hole in the wall in the bedroom on 3rd level; a window was taped up on the main level ; the breaker tripped when more than one person was drying their hair; the air filter on the main level was filthy and stopped up; lock on door on main level was rusted closed and could not be opened. There were other issues that Vacasa addressed quickly with maintenance staff and were resolved. It is a beautiful home with great beach access but should be pulled off the listing until it can be properly cleaned and maintenance issues addressed.

This was our 3rd stay at Viking. We have stayed at a couple other beach houses in Orange Beach, but this is our favorite by far. The open plan is loud, but the open plan is also the thing that makes this house so much fun for large groups. Beds and pillows are very firm, so bring a mattress topper and your own pillow if that is an issue (we did). Love the three refrigerators and two sets of washer/dryers. Wifi is sketchy, so bedroom tvs may not work if that matters. We did not care. Heat system is a little odd - one side gets crazy warm while the other stays cold (20 degree difference). It actually worked out ok for our group and is probably good for most large groups since some like to sleep warm while others like cold rooms. Because of the windows, porches, and layout of this house, you have beautiful beach views from everywhere. Overall, fabulous house on the beach for big groups up to 22. 8 bedrooms plus open-area bunks in lower and upper levels were plenty of room for our group of 18. Love this house!

We took a family vacation with 16 members. The home had ample room with 6 bedrooms with private baths. This was a good location and a beautiful beach. This home is older but adequate. The advertisement said it had a gas grill but it did not. It was a charcoal grill over by the pool. The internet was not very reliable. Other than that we had a good time.

This was our 7th annual October vacation to the area and this home was absolutely meant to be for our big group! The bedrooms were comfortable, lots of space for large parties to cook and eat, plus the hang out spaces were just perfect! You can’t be the location, which was in the middle of everything in Orange Beach but still private as can be! We will definitely be back!!

This place was PERFECT for our special day! We had plenty of room inside the house and a SPECTACULAR view of the gulf! We had 22 people staying at the house and no issues with space for everyone. If you have a large gathering planned, I would definitely recommend this place! The gated community was nice to have for a sense of security and the 2 swimming pools were enjoyable for the little ones. Service pet friendly too, as this was a requirement for our veterans with disabilities! I can’t say enough about the quality of service from Vacasa. They were AWESOME! Thank you so much for helping to make our special wedding day an AWESOME experience! Signed- a bunch of disgruntled vets….

We were excited when we got there. The younger grandkids had their own area to sleep, play and leave their stuff lying around. Everyone having their own room was awesome. The beach was just a 75 steps away, allowed everyone to enjoy the water at anytime. Watch the sunrise and set from the deck was vey relaxing. Our family of 18 has taken several vacations together, This by far was the best. We are hoping to come back again next year. We had all the amities that we had at home to take care of everything. Even had all the beach accessories to use I would highly recommend this place. Even though the outside is not as classy as the neighbors, it made us have a great time. Thanks for allowing us to stay!

Love this beach house having rented it for years but the price hike for next year has gotten ridiculously expensive what is up with that??

We were staying in Orange Beach for the NAIA Track and Field Championships. The house layout was nice for our group of 15. Wasn't too crowded and had lots of living areas indoors and out. Some minor things could be updated, but nothing major.

We got married here and absolutely loved our stay. Any issues we had were quickly addressed and resolved by the property manager. Would definitely recommend!

We have been coming here for more than 12 years, and it never gets old!! It is one of the best places to go on the entire Orange beach area.

Great location and accommodations for wedding guests

A ton of space. A bit older home but pretty well maintained.

The size and layout of the home were great and worked perfectly for our large group. The location is amazing!! The kitchen and bathrooms were clean. The other rooms were quite dusty as well as having food and other items from previous guests in the floor. The upstairs washing machine and microwave were both not working. There were several other small things that were broken/not in working order. For the price, I was expecting a bit higher quality. Overall it was a great stay!
