We've have stayed at several different condos in the Palisades over the years. This unit is excellent. Very clean and very well stocked with kitchen utensils, games, towels, etc. The property owners communicate well and even left a very nice goody basket on our arrival. We would highly recommend.

Condo was awesome! The comfortable furnishings, well equipped kitchen, etc. were the best we’ve encountered in a rental. The owners were quick to respond to questions that we had both before and after our arrival. We definitely will stay here again, especially when the owners were open to getting another key fob for future renters. We also love all of the resort amenities.

We had a great time at the Palisade Palms for the 4th of July holiday week! The condo had everything needed for our group (2 adults, 2 yr old and 7 yr old) to enjoy the pool and beach! We were worried about crowds but this place is perfect and you practically have the beach to yourself. Would highly recommend!

The location was perfect, the property was better than expected and the host was great throughout the process.

I honestly could’ve cut and pasted all the previous detailed reviews… nothing but positive really and everything people listed on previous reviews were spot on! Such a beautiful condo & view! The home had everything we needed for our stay. The beach was not crowded and so clean compared to other places I’ve stayed in Galveston over the years. My kids loved that they could watch Netflix on all the TVs. My daughter enjoyed a Spider-Man marathon one day while it rained. Definitely look forward to coming back!

The property is amazing -- the lobby is beautiful, great pools, 2 hot tubs, kids play room and adult game room, coffee bar and great security. Easy access to the beach which was just perfect. Most of the time we felt like we had a private pool and/ or beach. You can borrow beach chairs as you leave the building there is a large bin of chairs for your use. This property is located just a few miles away from all the action so it is super quiet and yet just a quick car ride to restaurants and activities. The condo itself is just as amazing. The balcony is more like an outside room and we spent so much time out there. You have a full view of the ocean and can see all the way down to Pleasure Pier! If you look to the far right you can even se the harbor! There is an electric grill outside which we used several times. The master suite is perfect -- you wake up with a view of the ocean! Lots of space -- King bed (super comfortable) large walk in closet, door to balcony, and full bath ! Spare room also has a private bath and there is a 1/2 bath off the main living space. Washer / Dryer was so wonderful to wash beach wear and towels each night. Owner has thought of everything -- this unit is fully stocked. The kitchen has everything we needed and the hall closet was also stocked with games, puzzles, beach toys, beach towels, chairs, umbrella and more! We didn't want to leave -- it was the perfect place to enjoy your family, rest and have fun!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property! It’s just outside of town, away from the crowds of Galveston. We were traveling with kids, and the condo was stocked with everything we needed to have fun on the beach (towels, toys, chairs, etc.). We got groceries on the way and the condo kitchen was stocked with all the necessary equipment to make meals for the family, and was super clean. Christine and David were lovely hosts, and had a basket of goodies for us when we arrived and a handy binder with all the details we needed for our stay. Check in and out was easy with someone at the front desk 24/7, and the whole condo was very secure and safe. The view from the balcony and windows was just beautiful! We’d definitely stay here again.

My family had the opportunity to vacation for two weeks at this wonderful property. We visit Galveston often and have stayed in an array of properties. The Palisade Palms has become our go-to when we vacation on the island. It is away from the island's summer crowds and traffic, which is a huge bonus in a relaxing vacation for us. The parking garage means our vehicle isn't an oven each time we leave to eat or do something on the island. This particular property we have enjoyed the most! The first time we opened the door to the property, it instantly enveloped us with a peaceful vacation mindset, which made returning from daily activities something to look forward to. The property's owners were so thoughtful. They left us a welcome note, a basket of tasty and tasteful goodies, helpful information about the property and vacationing in Galveston. All of the rooms were welcoming, spacious, and comfortably furnished. Speaking of rooms, the balcony became another "room." No matter what time of day or night, despite the June temperatures, it was never too hot to relax out there, enjoy the breeze, the ocean's view and sounds. At night when everyone was worn out from what we did that day, the balcony's (and property's) peacefulness was a plus! The building's concierge and front desk were always friendly and helpful. We made use of the many amenities the building had, including the pools, hot tubs, the "game room" on a lower floor and especially the private beach! During our stay day or night, we felt safe, comfortable, and free from everyday worries. I look forward to returning for more memories! This property exceeded expectations and fed our "salty soul."

This beach home is BEAUTIFUL with so many amenities. It has a beautiful pool, hot tubs, gameroom, fitness room, sauna and a boardwalk to your own private beach. The owners went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. We even had a goody basket upon arrival with their local favorites which was quite a treat. I highly recommend you take the opportunity to relax in this gorgeous, comfortable home.

This property is the best VRBO I have ever stayed in! The property itself is beautiful with a gorgeous view and tons of amenities! The property was clean and very nicely updated. My family really enjoyed the game room, tennis courts and the hot tubs! The owners manage it themselves so it makes communication so seamless, plus you get added bonuses! They were incredibly kind and left a basket of goodies for us, detailed instructions about everything (literally everything) and tons of information about the island. This property has everything needed for a beach vacation— chairs, towels, toys! It was cooler when we went so we played some of the games and puzzles provided. Beds were comfortable and the high rise was quiet (a must for light sleepers). The parking area is convenient and very secure! Overall, this place is amazing— 10+ stars!
