It’s was perfect what we was looking for. Would stay again

Our stay at this home was outstanding. The home itself is wonderful with plenty of space. The location is top notch, in close proximity to many things while being located in a quiet, private neighborhood and portion of the lake. Our group ages ranged from 17 months to 68 and there were things in and out of the house to keep everyone occupied throughout our stay. The coolest part was the game room downstairs was the nightly meeting spot for all of us to spend time as a family having fun. I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a rental on Lake Hartwell or the Clemson area.

Our family loved staying here so much. The house was perfect for our family with young children and even had a gate for the stairs which was so nice with a baby crawling. Also so nice that house came with a crib and monitor! We really enjoyed the dock space and nice rocking chairs and swing. Everything was very clean and the beds were super comfortable! Fully stocked kitchen and nice big table for everyone to sit at comfortably. We loved the big spacious yard and the beautiful scenery around the house. Lauren was an amazing host and we hope to come back next year!

We stayed in this home with several adults and kids. The house was very clean, comfortable, and had a gorgeous lake view. We enjoyed hanging out on the dock and playing with all the water toys they had in the house. They have many fun games and activities for use. The two refrigerators were very helpful. Rooms are clean and spacious, and the location was really quiet and serene. Would definitely return!

Absolutely enjoyed our stay at Lauren’s lake home! This long weekend stay was an add on to our extended family vacation in the NC mountains. Half of the crew joined us for this add on and we were not disappointed. We’re already planning our next lake trip. Lauren’s house has all the extras that a big house needs - kitchen items, towels, yard and lake toys, etc. She was also helpful in getting a boat rental. Many properties fall short but this one did not!

Even though the weather was chilly and rainy we were able to enjoy a great weekend in this beautiful home. There were twelve of us, and there was plenty of room and so much to do both inside and out. It had everything you needed from poker chips, corn hole, games, ping pong, indoor basketball, many TV's, and a well stocked kitchen. The kids fished between rain showers and dock provided a respite from a dip in the lake. We all agreed in spite of the weather, it was so much fun. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home.

We rented this property for my son’s graduation from Clemson. A great location in a beautiful setting. The bedrooms are nicely appointed and there are many which worked well for our family that included siblings, an uncle, and two grandmothers. My favorite part of this house was the screened in porch. A lovely place to relax and listen to the bird calls. The game room was a fun space too. Overall this house was a good choice for celebrating a family milestone and the owner was extremely easy to work with and very responsive.

Property was as nice has last year with misc. upgrades. We plan to return again next year!

We had an outstanding time! We had 3 families come together to celebrate Christmas/ New Year’s and each family had their own space. There are enough king size beds for 3 family units to be there comfortably- maybe even 4th family/couple- as there is another king and queen for older kids. Also, a full size crib if needed- The bunkbeds would be for smaller school age kids and are in the perfect set up of a game room for rainy days. The back porch was comfortable and a great place to hang out as well as the beautiful dock. We were more than happy with the setup. We hope to return there soon!

This is the fifth house that our group (three families whose children go to Clemson) has stayed in over the last four years, and we all agree that this was the best one by far! It was absolutely spotless, well stocked, nicely decorated, and had everything we could possibly need and more! The game room downstairs provided hours and hours of entertainment for everyone. Highly recommend!

Wonderful property with lots of amenities! We would highly recommend this home!

We had a party of 11 (6 adults and 5 kids under the age of 9) for a few days at the lake. It was a great time. House was well stocked which was great as I didn’t bring a lot of kitchen devices. Easy walk to the lake. Good fishing off the dock. Great swimming except the water was warmer than we like it but they had easy entry/exit with the ladder at the end of the dock. Lots of parking which was great. Love, love, loved the screened in porch area off the kitchen. The game room kept the kids busy as well. We went to the Clemson Botanical Gardens one day which was close by and a nice change of pace for the kids. The only thing really missing was a fire pit. It would have been nice to roast marshmallows with the kids around a camp fire. Otherwise we had a great time.

I like to take a yearly family vacation with my children, their spouses, and grand kids. There are 10 of us, ages 17-75. This beautiful lake view home was perfect for us. Lots to do on the lake and kept the teenagers busy. There were two kayaks and tons of water toys for the water. Many games in the basement, tvs, etc. We rented a pontoon boat one day and spent the entire day on the lake. There is a screened-in porch next to the kitchen. I spent most of my time on the porch reading and relaxing. So relaxing to have coffee each morning while looking over the lake. The grounds are beautiful with crepe myrtles leading up to the main house. We spent seven days there and had a difficult time saying good-bye. The most relaxing vacation we have ever had. I highly recommend this home.

"Our stay was absolutely wonderful! Gorgeous views of the lake from both levels. The layout of the house was perfect for our family. Having the spacious kitchen and level yard transition from house to lake was perfect for yard games, like cornhole. The Game room was perfect for the kids and even adults got into a friendly basketball competition. Lake swimming and kayaking was so much fun. Very grateful for the quiet cove as we had young swimmers in our group. Lots of rafts available for floating. All the bedrooms were spacious and very comfortable."

Our whole family stayed here for a week. The house was perfect and had everything we needed. It’s located in a quiet cove so floating, fishing, and swimming was safe and relaxing. The backyard is level so we could play volleyball, bad mitten, and other yard games. Everyone had a great time. Lauren was a wonderful host who offered suggestions and answered any questions we had. We will be going back!

This house was perfect for our family vacation. The layout, size and location of the house was great. It had everything we needed for comfort and relaxation for the adults and plenty of toys and activities for the kids. Lauren and Pastor Dean were incredible and responsive of anything we needed. The grass backyard and dock in the quiet cove made for a great, quiet trip that we all loved so much. Will definitely be visiting again

This was a perfect house and location for our nephews wedding in Seneca. We had a great time and the house was excellent! We will be back and hopefully for an entire week! Thank you for sharing your house with us!

My best friends from high school and our families were able to gather for the long weekend in the most beautiful of settings. THE PICTURES DO NOT DO THIS PLACE JUSTICE!! Excellent privacy, lake access, amenities. The host was quick to respond with any questions. The beds were comfortable, everything was clean and everything worked beyond expectation The only downside was the grill needed some attention (perhaps from last renter) so we were not able to use, but many restaurants and grocery near by. We plan on coming back and staying longer because there was so much to do that didn’t get to even get in to. My children loved catching fireflies in the large back yard and playing soccer. There were tons of games and board games. No one wanted to leave. Best vacation ever!

Fantastic location celebrating our daughters graduation from Clemson. The home was even better than expected, from the wonderful spaces to the gorgeous views. We will back!

Perfect vacation get away, home was very clean and impressive, nice quite setting with nicely done landscaping. The dock with access to the lake and boat ramp was most impressive. We will return.

Cedar Cove was simply perfect. The home offered the perfect space with perfect lake views perfect for rest/relaxation and spending time with family. When we initially arrived at the property, I had to go back and check the VRBO profile pictures, because the online pictures did not do the property justice. I feel in love with the view. Our large party had plenty of space to spread out. The large kitchen was perfect for conversations and dining in. The game room area was perfect for the kids with plenty of space and things to do. The large dock was an easy walk for our elderly mother, and it was perfect for fishing or relaxing. And to top it all off, the host was perfect. Lauren promptly responded to all of my messages and addressed all of my concerns (none of which had to do with the property), because the property was perfect. If you are reading this message, book it now, and I promise you WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.

This beautiful property was stunning. The view of the lake and easy access was a bonus. Plenty of room and super comfortable couch for movie time. Incredibly well stocked including entertainment equipment. Our large fam had a great time during Thanksgiving break. Owners were easy to contact ! Can’t wait to visit again!

The owner is amazingly helpful and easy to work with. The house is extremely clean. The bedrooms are comfortable and easily accommodated everyone! The lake views are amazing and it's a great location for a Clemson game! I highly recommend this house and look forward to staying here in the future!

Cedar Cove was the perfect setting and home for our family get together. There was something for everyone (ages 20 to 78) in this well appointed lake front home. The home exceeded our expectations, from the location and layout to the decor and water toys at our disposal. The check in and out process was a breeze and the communications with Lauren were extremely helpful and informative. Would highly recommend Cedar Cove and look forward to our next visit.

This is an amazing property. The description of the home was spot on. The location, house layout, cleanliness, and amenities were great for the time spent with family. Great host that was very timely with communications. Would definitely stay again!

This house was perfect to celebrate with friends and family over the labor day weekend. The design is open and bright with a very easy walk to the dock. There was plenty of room for everyone and the lounging sectional in the basement was a hit. The home came fully stocked for lake recreational fun. We will definitely be returning.
