We stayed at this cabin for 10 days, it was perfect. Great clean cabin with plenty to do in the area. The host was wonderful and took great care to make sure that we had all of what we needed to make it enjoyable.

Weather not so good but the stay was awesome very cozy in the cabin . Would definitely come and stay again .Enjoyed it very much .

My fiancé loved the proximity to dirt biking trails! Was able to ride the bike directly to the trailhead. We both enjoyed the raft out in the water as well as the paddle boards and kayaks. Neighbors were nice as well. Communication with Dave was prompt and he was able to answer all of my questions prior and during our stay. The water was amazingly clear with a sandy bottom and no weeds! Bedroom was always a little warm at night even with the fan and AC running. Perhaps another AC unit would help. Other than that, the house met all of our expectations and we would love to stay again next summer!

It was perfect and the location was perfect. The owner was very friendly and provided anything that we needed and was very helpful! We would definitely stay again! What a great spot for a vacation!

The unit was much bigger than expected and perfect for our girls/ women weekend. Dave was very responsive to any need that we had.

This place was great! Right on the water and perfect for our small group of guys hitting the lake for some ice fishing. David was awesome to work and we enjoyed our stay.

We had many issues with our stay here, and although we tried to address them with the owner before we posted this review, his responses were vague and he made it sound like he would give us a free stay to make up for it. When we asked him to clarify, he accused us of extortion and contacted Vrbo to try and have this review removed. Hopefully you are reading this! Here are 8 reasons not to rent here: 1. He didn’t know we were coming that day so we didn’t have the code when we arrived. It did not take long to get, but it did not seem like the place was truly ready for us. He just happened to be vacationing there himself too. 2. Any time we went down to the lake, his dogs barked loudly and often. We realize he tried pulling them back to stop them from barking, but eventually it made it so we didn’t want to go down to the lake. It was not enjoyable. 3. His family parked their vehicles in places where they obstructed the view of the lake from our cabin. 4. Even if we tried to ignore the dogs and went down to the lake, the beach was a disgusting mess. Not suitable for children or pets. We didn’t mind that it wasn’t bright and sunny, but we wanted our kids to be able to play in the sand and that wasn’t an option. 5. The floors under the beds were absolutely filthy. We had to block our dog and keep our kids from going under there. It felt like the whole place was disgusting as a result. Probably a decade or more of neglect. 6. There was no hot water on our last day. *We left a day early, by the way. 7. Throughout the day his children would walk between our car and cabin, a narrow gap which would often put them face to face with us in the screened-in porch. His whole family walked around like they own the place, (which, of course, they do). In addition to that lack of privacy, there were no blinds in the windows. 8. Overall, We feel that having anyone stay on the property while he and his family are vacationing there is inappropriate and awkward. No offense to them, but we wanted to go on a trip with our family, not his.

Had difficulty with working tv. Dave was very helpful and available but we r not savvy with electronics. We totally enjoyed our short get away 😊

Lovely Cabin by the Lake ambiance. Close to all the great shops and restaurants, too. Very peaceful!

We thoroughly enjoyed our one-week stay at this property. The place was the very definition of a lake cottage, small/cozy and just steps from the lake. Plus, on those nippy mornings, we sat in the windowed/screened porch and could see the lake from the comfort of the cabin. Do want to state, though, that the cabin might be a bit small for more than two adults, though adding a couple kids would not be problem.

Super charming cabin. This cabin is well equipped with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Beautiful view from the doorstep. Will definitely look to stay there again.

Had a great time! Had everything needed plus more. We loved having cocktails in the all season room! Only downside is the single bed in the one bedroom is a trundle- no conducive to 58 year old women lol

As “first timers” we were impressed with the user friendly method of making arrangements and paying and then gaining access to the home. Also appreciated the immediate and helpful responses to questions from host once we were in!

Place was perfect for a small family. Location is great, very close to restaurants, gas stations, Walmart right down the street. Very close to local beaches, arcade, go karts and putt putt. Very calm and relaxing. Next year we will probably rent some jet skis for the day and park them at the dock on the property. Place had WiFi and Roku with Netflix and Hulu etc. well maintained cabins!

All was great with the housing. The lake decided it was time be float tons of seaweed to our private swimming area. The owner had people there everyday trying to clean it up.

Overall was a great experience after communicating with David and getting issues resolved.. He’s a newer Vrbo owner (5-21) so gave him some pointers for the future.. Anything wrong he made it right and very upstanding owner.. Wouldcstay again in the future..
