We had a short but delightful visit. Undoubtedly, the highlight of the property was its front porch. The updated kitchen and bathrooms added modern charm, while the open floor plan was perfect for social gatherings and cooking. We had a great time playing cornhole in the fenced backyard, and the outdoor shower made clean-up easy. And best of all, the beach was just steps away.

This was our first stay at this location. Loved being so close to the beach and being able to bring our furbabies. The house was nice and spacious. We hope to return again next year.

Our second stay in Cape Charles at Sandcastle. Even better than the first! We had perfect beach weather, no rain, hot, humid, & warm bay water. We enjoyed cooking on the grill in the backyard, & especially liked the outdoor shower after a day on the beach. Thanks, Bobby & Voe, we will be back!

Voe and Bobby have done a fantastic job in remodeling their home. Beautiful beach cottage just a few steps away from beach. Well appointed! We had a great stay!

Great location. Kitchen was great and central with plenty of stools to hang out there. Beds were comftorable. Fenced in back yard was nice to have with plenty of chairs to hang out. Out door shower was beneficial. Very up to date and clean.

House is perfect. Layout and location are wonderful. The outside shower was so appreciated after a day at the beach. My husband commented how clean the grill was and started right up. Beds were comfy. Definitely planning our next visit.

We absolutely loved this little slice of paradise. The house is very practical yet cozy and private, and you can’t beat the location. The sunsets from here are stellar too. Lastly, the hosts were super friendly and helpful. We hope to be able to stay again here in the future!

Our stay at the Sandcastle was, in a word, perfect! We’ve stayed in many houses in Cape Charles over the years and this was one of our favorites!!! The house itself was newly updated, with all of the amenities you need for a week at the beach. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well-stocked, and having three bathrooms is a huge bonus. The house is larger than it seems in the photos, allowing for plenty of space for us to spread out! Our favorite part of the house was the screened-in front porch - we enjoyed nearly every meal at the big table and loved spending our rainy afternoons there! The location of the house could not be any better - it’s less than a minute to the beach and a short walk to town and the park. We actually could hear the Saturday summer concert from the porch! We just returned home and we are already checking our calendar to book a stay for next year!

Nice cottage right across the street from the beach. Was great to cook on the grill & eat in the backyard, very private & fenced. Quiet neighborhood, except when the food trucks park across the street & run a generator all day. Loved going everywhere on the golf cart! Hosts are quick to respond to messages, and address any issues in a timely manner. Enjoyed our vacation, will be back! Thank you, Voe & Bobby!

We loved this beachy house for our girls getaway! Awesome location to the water - able to run back and forth to house and beach. Only a few blocks from shops. Will definitely come back to this house!

Our first trip to Cape Charles didn’t disappoint! The location of this place was perfect! It had enough room for us to spread out but yet still be close!

There is not enough I could say about this beautiful house. Pros: when you first walk in, everything is open and bright. Decor was just enough. The living room furniture was very comfortable. The kitchen had everything you would need to cook for a group. The barstools are comfortable, and we ate there almost every day. The dining room is game friendly, comfortable, and bright. The full sized washer and dryer and full bath are off the dining room. Very convenient while playing games. The backyard is very spacious and has a great outdoor shower, which most of us used after coming in from the beach. The three bedrooms were so comfortable. The beds were perfect for the different sleepers that were with us. Loved all the fluffy pillows! The extra hangers in the closets were very helpful. All the bathrooms were clean and very spacious. The makeup washcloths were an extra plus. The screened in porch allowed us to people watch, being that we were the 2nd house from the beach. So close! Very quiet street. All in all we could not have been any happier with all the amenities and comfort this house provided. The owner was quick to respond and very welcoming. Cons: NONE

The newly refurbished Sand Castle is great. Just a minute's walk from the beach, and a few minutes from the main shopping district. Having a fully fenced back yard was great for our dog. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the space is very comfortable.

Wonderful place to stay! There were 4 adults and 2 small children in my group and I loved how there were corner protectors and a baby gate for us to use. And - washable stool covers so I wasn’t constantly worried about the kids dropping food while eating. Beds were very comfortable and everything was clean. Fenced in yard was great for my dog and the house had everything we needed. We’ll definitely be back!

Overall the house was perfect for us, plenty of space, very close to beach, cool, nice kitchen for cooking, screened porch ideal for relaxing. House amenities were great as well - beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. Cape Charles is nice low key town, easy to get around, nice people! Home owners very kind and easy and quick to communicate with online and. Is cell/text. Will definitely consider this property again.
