Our room was great! There was a great view and the room was spacious and perfect for a family of 4! Everything was very cleaned when we arrived. The Galvestonian was a great establishment, the pool and hot tub were very nice. All of the employees were very professional. The private beach area was perfect and very quiet. We loved everything about our stay!!

My family makes the pilgrimage to Galveston Island every year and we always stay at the Galvestonian. This year we stayed in room 1002 offered by Ryson Vacation Rentals and we could not have had a better time. First off, I requested an early checkin time and they personally texted me when the room was ready. Also, on our departure, we accidentally left one of our phones and they texted us about finding such phone and we were able to go back and get it. What a great group to rent from and work with. My hat is off to the company Ryson Vacation Rentals.

The mattress in the master bedroom was the most uncomfortable mattress I have ever slept on. I ended up sleeping on the twin mattress in the spare bedroom with my 5 year old. My husband ended up sleeping on the mattress and left with sore legs,neck, and hips!

After having to postpone a cousin's getaway 3 years ago, we were able to experience a recharge, a reconnection and enjoy the sand, sounds of East Beach. It was quiet and peaceful 3 day stay. The condo was a perfect place and gave us breathtaking views of the Gulf and place to unwind.

This property was exactly as we had hoped. It was clean and quiet! The beach was closer than we expected. The pool and hot tub were a must with the windy week we visited. Hope to be back again!

We were arriving late and tried to get in touch with the agent several times and none of our calls were returned.

I did a lot of research on a condo in Galveston. I did not want to stay in the "SeaWall" area which is where restaurants, hotels, etc are located. In the SeaWall area you have to walk across 5 lanes of traffic to get to the beach. Also it is very noisy. This condo is in the "beachtown" area where you can take an elevator down, walk outside and the beach is right there. The condo was super clean and spacious. The only downside is the condo does not have a washer & dryer and the condo complex only lets residents (not temporary guests) use their onsite washer & dryers. Other than that it was perfect. The complex is beautiful and I will keep an eye out for the possibility of buying a unit.

We had very relaxing long weekend. Even with Motorcycles event going on. Ty.

Everything was great, the condo had everything it was clean and had a great view.

This was our second stay in the Galvestonian and we loved it! The view is amazing. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. This unit was perfect for our girls weekend getaway!

Everything was fine until our last day. The TV’s in both bedrooms quit working. No one resolved the problem. Maintenance man called the cable company and was told it was an owners issue. Something had not been paid for. My wife has sleet issues and she needs the Tv on to sleep. Needless to say it was not a good night. I think we deserve some kind of credit for our last night

This property was amazing! We did a girls trip and had so much fun! Only major recommendation that I wish I would have know was that anything you want to rent for the beach needs to be rented the day before! The condo did provide some beach chairs! Will definitely be coming back!!

This is a great property! It had amazing views (beach side from the 10th floor), cold AC, and comfortable beds. It was stocked well, and we were pleased to see that there were floor to ceiling shades to shield us from the morning light until we were ready to get up. The Galvestonian has a nice pool, friendly staff, and you can’t beat the proximity to East beach. The property has wagons for the beach which were very handy, and parking was a breeze. Very close to all things Galveston while being able to stay beach side! We’ll be back!

This is our second time staying at The Galvestonian on East Beach and we love it! The views are amazing with easy private beach access. Enjoyed the outdoor picnic tables and hammocks. Very relaxing and comfortable.

Extremely convenient and responsive manager. Pictures and listing match reality, which is always appreciated. Nice pool, great access to the beach, convenient beach chairs with umbrellas. The beach is very clean! Awesome walks, loved to hang out on the balcony and just enjoy the place. The appliances could be updated and the tiled floor can make it noisy from the floor above, but overall great value.

The Galvestonian is awesome. We’ve stayed in several units here and love coming back. The pool area & grounds are beautiful. Staff is friendly and helpful. The security is excellent. This particular unit was very quite nice with 2 exceptions. The Gulf view from the bedroom is gorgeous but you better be ready to get up at sunrise. With no blinds, drapes or shades in the bedroom, the sun blares in all day…it’s blinding & hot. Most importantly, several previous reviews have mentioned the guest bath shower being dangerous because it’s as slick as oiled glass. Seriously someone is going to slip down and really get hurt. We almost did. Still, Ryson continues to not fix the problem. At least there were tub appliqués in the master bath. Sad that Ryson obviously doesn’t care about their renters warnings.

The condo is so nice with beautiful views. Spacious, comfortable living area and master bedroom... Easy walk to pool and beach ( from condo). The Galvestonian has all the extras: carts for beach stuff, all the stuff to grill, and towels for free, umbrellas to rent...beautiful pool with umbrellas...we woke up every day loving our beach view and spot.

The condo was clean, decorated cute, and we loved the view. The only thing that was needed was rubber mats for the tubs. They were dangerously slippery. We also had only two washcloths in each bathroom.

The only issue I can see is the visitor policy should be more prominently explained as they are not allowed on the property except in the room. Otherwise just fine.

We stay at The Galvestonian every year and this is by far the one property I would never recommend. It has cracks all in the floor and there are no blinds in the master bedroom or in the living room. So why I understand they don’t want to obscure the view it is extremely bright with nothing to block out the sun… And when you have a two year old staying in a pack and play with you it is less than ideal for a family vacation! We had issues with the toilet seat and reported it to Ryson vacation rental along with the fan in the master suite and they said they would fix it and they did nothing. If you go through Ryson you don’t get your room cleaned and no extra towels. There’s also no mesh on the guard rails like most units and my son could fit through. The amenities in this condo are also very sparse unlike the others that are updated. I would never book another vacation through Ryson. The owners need to advertise this condo is not ideal for families with small children and please get some shades!

Great location on the beach without the seawall in front of you beautiful grounds including weber grills and picnic areas you can reserve. The pool is excellent.

The Galvestonian is always amazing. Beautiful landscaping, clean beach, friendly staff. The condo unit itself was clean but the floor tiles were cracked and a huge rug was rolled up in the floor and pushed up against a wall. It made it so we couldn't walk all the way around the kitchen table.

The condo needs a little updating but overall very clean, nice and comfortable. Great pool and beach access. We really loved that they had so many luggage carts and shopping carts to help us get loaded and unloaded. And the beach chairs / umbrellas were convenient to order and worked great.

Property was great, weather was good, staff was friendly and helpful.

If you want nice glassware, bring it yourself. Everything is cheap looking plastic. I should have just brought the solo cups. I wish they would have made it clear on the booking website that quiet hours are starting at 10pm. The pool and outside gets shut down. The firepit also closes at 9pm (which you have to request for them to turn on - which would have been nice to have known). Could not get ahold of anyone to ask about the missing linens for the pull out sofa bed, but the cover on it was nasty anyways & major lumps, on the “mattress” so I just slept ontop of the small couch. Kleenex would have also been nice to have been provided. The view was spectacular from both balconies (however, a little small, as you cannot move 1 person in front of another - very tight squeeze). The pictures made it look bigger. The hammocks were awesome down by the beach, wish I would have been told that I have to provide my own volleyball for the beach volleyball court, but the beach access was perfect & we rented the umbrella & chairs which made it perfect! The beach was so clean! The staff at the Galvestonian were awesome & so nice!
